The Karen Millen co-ord from the Britain’s Got Talent judge is ideal for summer and is currently available for 20% off.
Buttermilk yellow has been the reigning shade of the spring season, but Amanda Holden has just debuted an eye-catching outfit in a hue that could take its crown as the weather warms up. The Heart FM radio presenter turned up to the office on Tuesday wearing a mango coloured co-ord from a popular high street brand – and it’s currently on sale.
The 54-year-old declared ‘the future is orange’ as she heaped praise on her Karen Millen set. She wore the retailer’s Premium Linen Wide Leg Tailored Trouser and matching Premium Linen Structured Pleated Tailored Bandeau Top for a showstopping ensemble, both of which are now 20% off.
Amanda adored the “delectably soft” set after sharing it with her 2.5 million Instagram followers. It’s the ideal choice for the warmer weather because it’s made of 11% cotton and 13% linen.

Originally £139 but down to £111.20, the tailored trousers boast a high-waisted design that creates a lengthening effect, while the wide leg offers a dramatic silhouette. While bold, they’re surprisingly versatile, with Karen Millen recommending them as an option for summer weddings or race day events.
Meanwhile, the top creates a sculpted look that ‘flatters the figure’. The strapless design makes it particularly suitable for summer and garden parties with the neckline being perfect for showcasing necklaces.
Amanda added: “It’s a lovely asymmetric boob tube affair thing which is super flattering you just might have to adjust the creases to make it all fit nicely.” However, it’s worth noting that it’s quite low in stock in certain sizes, but it is also available at Debenhams.
Further cementing mango as a shade to invest in, PrettyLittleThing has a range of options on their website, with some more purse-friendly price points, too. Meanwhile, Nobody’s Child has also tapped into the trend, with their Orange Broderie Anglaise Starlight Midi Dress being a great alternative at £110.
One thing that really impressed Amanda about the Karen Millen co-ord, though, was the crease resistant fabric that requires little ironing. She commented: “I thought oh, if I’m going to sit down all day it’s going to crease up and look awful by the time I leave but look it’s absolutely fine.”
One thing I always love about co-ords is how you can wear them at least three ways. The top would look gorgeous with a pair of light blue denim jeans with a pair of heels for cocktails or brunch, while the trousers lend themselves to a plain white t-shirt and trainers for a more casual look, meaning shoppers can get more wear out of them, be it on holiday or at the office.
