With the casting of her two teenage daughters for London Fashion Week, Amanda Holden admitted to feeling like she is in the footsteps of legendary mother Kris Jenner.
Amanda Holden admitted to feeling like she is the UK’s answer to Kris Jenner after both her daughter’s landed jobs walking the catwalk at London Fashion Week. The popular TV and Radio presenter joked about her prowess as a ‘momager’ after confirming that Lexi, 19, who is signed to Storm Model Management will be joined at the lavish fashion bash by her younger sister Hollie, 13.
Amanda, 54, is proud to admit that both of her daughters are already following in her showbiz footsteps. Speaking about their blossoming modelling careers as nepo babies she said, “Lexi’s good, she’s sort of dipped her toe in and she’s done a couple of photoshoots.
She enjoys going to school, but I think she’ll figure it out because she enjoys taking time off. She will be attending London Fashion Week once more in September, and we just learned that Hollie will also participate.
Amanda continued to the Daily Mail, “It’s definitely something I think Hollie is going to enjoy she’s going to die when I tell her she’s doing London Fashion Week this year. I literally just heard she got it and she’s gone for the week with my mum in Cornwall so I’ll have to ring her after.”
She then made fun of her role in their success, referring to Kris as the daughter’s manager, adding, “With both girls doing it, I do feel like Kris Jenner now.” We require a reality television program. I could see that, but my god, here we go.
Amanda may have hopes for a family-run reality TV show, but it seems like not everyone would be.
Amanda acknowledges that Lexi, like Simon Cowell’s son Eric and Alesha Dixon’s daughter Azura, wouldn’t want to be on camera, despite having the famous friends to make it interesting.
She said, “But one of my daughters would do a TV show,” but Lexi wouldn’t want to be on camera, which is ironic, and Hollie would undoubtedly do the opposite.
She also confirmed that Hollie loves TV so much she enjoys coming to work with her when she is filming Britain’s Got Talent, where they “put her to work” as a runner and causes “mayhem” with Simon’s son Eric.
Amanda said, “She enjoys coming with me to Britain’s Got Talent, she makes Simon his ginger tea, and they work with her when she comes.”
She enjoys the crew hoodie, the snacks, and the snacks she delivers to the desk. She also creates total chaos behind the scenes, as they say.
She doesn’t watch any of the show, but she did when she nonetheless made the decision to press the golden buzzer. Because Eric was with her, she didn’t receive a slap on the wrist, which is good.
