Hugo Ekitike, a Liverpool striker, has scored four goals in his last two Premier League appearances and is starting to gain respect from Arne Slot.

The France international has now scored seven league goals in 15 games since joining Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth up to £79 million in the summer.

Ekitike is the man to lead Liverpool’s line with Mohamed Salah joining Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations, Cody Gakpo injured, and Alexander Isak struggling with form.

Is now the right time to go all in on Ekitike with a trip to an unpopular Tottenham and home games against winless Wolves and relegation-threatened Leeds?

Ekiti is “in high demand,” according to the statement.

Gianni Buttice: Hugo Ekitike is in high demand after getting back-to-back braces.

With several attacking players injured, his minutes appear more secure than ever, and he’s the only summer signing at Liverpool who has immediately impressed.

Any number nine would enjoy a three-game run that includes Tottenham away, Wolves, and Leeds at Anfield.

Statman Dave: Liverpool, ranked third in the Premier League for xG, are creating a sizable number of chances. Bring him in if you want to get a free hit.

Szoboszlai should be in order, right?

Statman Dave: I believe that Dominik Szoboszlai scored Liverpool’s final penalty.

Since I looked at him for the free hit, he’s now 6’7″, so he’s actually increased by 0.1. Right now, you must choose him over Florian (Wirtz).

Have you considered Chris Sutton’s play at right-back? That is the issue that Liverpool faces.

I’m not sure how long (Jeremie) Frimpong will be out, but (Joe) Gomez resigned over the weekend.

Anyone else worthwhile?

Gianni Buttice: Matheus Cunha is only 4% owned, but he once again caught the eye last time out alongside Bruno Fernandes, who is currently the top-scoring midfielder on less than a third of league teams.

The Manchester United attack has been impressive this season despite their defensive struggles. They come in first place in the league for goals and expected goals, and they come in second.

Only West Ham and Burnley and Wolves have conceded more goals, and Erling Haaland has scored goals for fun.
