TV star Alex Scott shared an emotional farewell with her girlfriend Jess Glynne at Heathrow, as she prepared to fly out to Australia for the start of this year’s I’m A Celeb

Former footballer and TV star Alex Scott arrived at Heathrow to check in for her flight to Australia ahead of her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Alex was joined by her girlfriend Jess Glynne and the two shared an emotional goodbye at the gate.

Alex was seen tightly gripping Jess, whose song Hold My Hand was used in the Jet2 adverts, in a fierce hug. The pair were seen embracing as Alex’s bags were checked into the hold.

The former Arsenal footballer was dressed in a brown tracksuit with a bright orange strip up each side. She paired the outfit with wide sunglasses and pristine white trainers.

Meanwhile, Jess wore a pair of pale blue baggy jeans, with a green leather bomber jacket over a cropped black hoodie. She had the hood of her jumper pulled over her famously bright red hair.

The couple have been together since the summer of 2023, but kept their relationship under wraps for many months. They became official in October that year and have since been seen at a number of events together, including the BRIT Awards.

Alex is headed to Australia. Once down under, she will join the other I’m A Celeb campmates in the jungle for weeks of gruelling tasks.

Many of her fellow campmates have already been spotted at airports throughout the country, including YouTuber Angry Ginge, Loose Women panellist Kelly Brook, and EastEnders’ icon Shona McGarty.

The other contestants expected to be taking part include Lisa Riley, Martin Kemp, comedians Ruby Wax and Eddie Kadi, rapper Aitch and presenter Vogue Williams. Jack Osbourne is also thought to be joining the show, just months after the death of his father, Ozzy Osbourne.

The line-up is expected to be formally announced in the lead-up to the show, which will launch on 16 November. However, two names will reportedly be missing from the list, as they will be late entries.

A source close to the show have said ITV are making sure the show, which is entering it’s 25th year, will be the best it can be. “Producers are expected to pull out the stops to ensure the 25th series is the most memorable yet.”

The line-up is thought to have had some last minute changes. LBC host Nick Ferrari is said to have recently pulled out of talks with ITV to join I’m a Celebrity after his radio bosses vowed to match his jungle fee. A source said: “They pledged to match any fee he was set to receive as they consider him such a vital and well-loved part of the LBC schedule.”

Last year, McFly star Danny Jones was crowned King of the Jungle, with Coleen Rooney coming second and the Reverend Richard Coles placing third.
