Aldi shoppers will be racing to snap up the £15 ionic hairdryer as it makes a return to the middle aisle this week, after it sold out almost straight away last time it launched
We all need a little treat for making it to the end of January, and Aldi has just the thing landing in its famed middle aisle this week. On Sunday January 25, the supermarket will be re-launching one of its most sought-after sell out items yet; its Ionic Hairdryer.
The last time the hairdryer was available it sold out almost straight away, which means shoppers who missed out last time will no doubt be racing to get their hands on it this time around. The Ionic Hairdryer will be priced at just £14.99, making it an absolute bargain, and it’ll be in nationwide stores this coming Sunday while stocks last.

The under-£15 price tag makes it an absolute bargain compared to other similar hairdryers, with the BaByliss Titanium Shine Digital Motor Lightweight Compact Hair Dryer currently 50% off down from £100 to £50. Meanwhile the Enigma Precision Hair Dryer is £100 and comes with four different magnetic styling attachments.
As with all of Aldi’s Special Buys, once they’re gone they’re gone, so if you miss out once again who knows if and when the Ionic Hairdryer will be making its return. If you do miss out, this Wavytalk Blown Away Ionic Hair Dryer is similar and available at Boots for just £44, coming with three attachments and a detangling brush for a more budget-friendly alternative.
You could also head over to AirCraft and snap up the AirMotion ionic hair dryer which has a similar look and functionality to Aldi’s cult favourite hairdryer. However it’s priced at £89.99, which makes it five times the price of Aldi’s version.
However Aldi’s Ionic Hairdryer comes in three different colours; black, mint green and purple, and helps to speed up and revolutionise your hair styling routine without breaking the bank. It has three different heat options and two speed settings which let you customise the Ionic Hairdryer to suit your styling needs.
The cool shot button also helps to lock in your style and seal roots, so your style lasts all day. It comes with two different attachments to suit all hair types too, with a concentrator which helps with precision styling and creating a smooth, sleek finish, and a diffuser which is perfect for using on curls.
The Ionic Hairdryer will be landing in Aldi’s middle aisle on Sunday January 25, and is available while stocks last.
