Fans should be ringing at Fifa because England supporters haven’t purchased their entire ticket supply for the World Cup final and semi-final of the following year, according to a fan group.

Everyone who applied for a ticket to the final and semi-final is guaranteed one because the number of allocated tickets to members of the England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) has so far exceeded the number of applications received.

The tournament’s pricing structure has received a lot of negative feedback, with 90% of ESTC members receiving tickets for the final for just £3, 094 respectively.

That resulted in the Fifa release of a limited supply of tickets priced at £45, but the Football Supporters’ Association’s Fans’ Embassy claims that England fans should be concerned about not using up their allocation.

The group said in a statement that the semi-final and final numbers for the group games speak for themselves, “unsurprisingly, the group games are oversubscribed, as well as the possible glamour tie in Mexico City in the round of 16”.

Some of the most devoted fans of the international game feel completely depressed because of the numbers, which show a fan base that has been priced out.

Every time participating member allocations, meant for the most devoted fans, are not sold out for any World Cup game, the alarm should ring.

Fifa has received criticism for group stage tickets that cost three times as much as those for Qatar’s World Cup in 2022.

Gianni Infantino, the president of Fifa, defended the prices earlier this week, saying they reflect the public’s “absolutely crazy” demand for tickets.

Infantino said, “We have six to seven million tickets on sale and we have received 150 million ticket requests in 15 days.
