Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden claims that Alan Carr and Amanda Holden could “make a fortune” if they launch an unusual project.

Amanda Holden and Alan Carr are eyeing up an unusual career move after ruling themselves out of the running for Strictly Come Dancing. The hit BBC show is looking for new hosts after Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly quit last year.

After making a positive impression on Celebrity Traitors in December, Alan, 49, was once reportedly hotly rumored to step in. However, reports suggest that his stand-up tour and the show’s schedule would clash.

Meanwhile Amanda, 54, has been a long-running judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. The duo have now ruled themselves out of the running for the Strictly job when appeared on the Table Manners podcast with Jessie and Lennie Ware.

Can I ask a burning question, Lennie asked? You two won’t be presenting strictly together, right?” We previously said no, Alan replied, “No, we did not.”

Amanda also mentioned that Strictly would be hosting in December. The mother-of-two said on her Heart Breakfast program, “I want to let you know that Alan and I are absolutely not doing Strictly.”

We are thrilled to be a part of that mix, she continued. We are not doing it together.

Elsewhere Alan also opened up about the possibility of bringing back his Chatty Man series, which ran from 2009 to 2017 on Channel 4. When asked about a potential return for the show, he added: “Oh, that was another clickbait thing during Traitors [..] It would be nice to do a chat show, I don’t know, but [..] no one’s approached me or anything.”

Amanda however hinted the pair could make a “fortune” if they pick up a bizarre new career. It came after Alan said he had “done it all” on television, joking that he might move into OnlyFans in the future.

When he was asked what he would flash on the website, he responded, “My feet, I have lovely feet.”

Amanda responded, “There would be a market for that. Because you can make a fortune, I keep thinking we should do feet.

Amanda responded, “No, my husband says I look lovely until I get to my ankles, and then my feet are like sausages that have been hit by a mallet,” after being asked if she had “good feet.”

Alan and Amanda have branched out into the world of home renovations in recent years. Their first series, Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job saw the pair buying a property in Sicily for a Euro before renovating and selling it on.

The completed property, situated in the picturesque town of Salemi, was marketed for slightly over £125,000 last year, with sale profits divided between Children in Need and Comic Relief. Subsequent series featured makeovers in northern Tuscany, Italy, and Andalusia, Spain.

The pair traveled to Corfu for Alan and Amanda’s Greek Job in their most recent series. Due to her love of visiting with husband Chris Hughes and their daughters, Hollie and Lexi, Amanda previously revealed they wanted to travel there.
