Alan Carr, the winner of The Celebrity Traitors, acknowledged that his mother’s safari on a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter was a “addiction” that prevented him from getting the chance to see an “addiction.”

TV star Alan Carr has revealed that his “addiction” cost him the chance of experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime experience during a safari.

While other showbiz stars are forever in and out of rehab due to booze or drugs, the Celebrity Traitors star has admitted to a slightly more benign addiction.

Speaking to Loose Women’s Olivia Attwood on her Olivia’s House podcast, he confessed that he became so obsessed with popular mobile game Candy Crush that he missed out on an incredible wildlife experience.

He declared, “I’m an addict. Candy Crush is my addiction. I went on a safari with my mother because she wasn’t feeling well and missed one of the big five. Because I was playing Candy Crush, I was unable to see a white rhino.

He acknowledged that he was sitting behind his mother in a jeep pretending to marvel at it while glancing down at his phone when his mother was attempting to point out the extraordinary creature.

Although it may seem funny, becoming obsessed with a mobile game can lead to problems, according to Alan, “I was addicted to Candy Crush, so it’s no laughing matter.” Candy Crush has left me without any friends.

Comedian Lee Peart, who was also on the show as a guest, made the humorous suggestion that Alan didn’t feel particularly “on-brand,” and playfully suggested that the winner of Celebrity Traitors might prefer the classic Nokia phone game Snake.

Alan blasted it as “the c***piest game ever” and claimed he might be playing a game that had reached its height of popularity around the turn of the millennium.

Talk turned to Alan’s “betrayal” of Paloma Faith, a pal from the show. He recalled that “Me and Paloma didn’t have a fallout,” but she was acting foolishly and that I would. We’re both right somewhere in the middle.

He continued, “Before we were showbiz friends, we’ve been on the phone all the time, but now we’ve gotten married.” I felt so bad as a person when I broke down at the conclusion.

I was so happy when I murdered her and brought her the lily downstairs. I went to her and said, “Oh, it hasn’t worked. ” We are shoving her in a f***ing coffin half an hour later.

Paloma had reportedly taken her “murder” quite badly: “She threw a wobbly afterwards about being the first to go,” a show insider told the Mirror.

When they leave, some players simply shrug it off, but Paloma was furious when she learned who had betrayed her. She couldn’t determine what had actually happened, and when she learned more about it, she only felt worse.

It’s fair to say that Pam was unhappy with going home first because she is loud and wears her heart on her sleeve.

Alan said he “really got into lying” while being a fairly honest person during his time on the show. He explained that he was thrilled to be invited to participate in the murder-murder mystery, which he adored: “I love Jessica Fletcher, Poirot, Agatha Christie, and I love murder murder mysteries.

I was living in a castle with celebrities who were being killed one by one, fulfilling my 13- or 14-year-old dreams, for me.

“I’ll never be in a zeitgeist or such iconic film again.” People would say “Alan, Alan, what’s it like” if I were to walk down the street and act like that. I’ll never have a career that large.
