Abbey Clancy says she wouldn’t trust husband Peter Crouch “as far as she could throw him” in a brutal marriage insight. The model has been with former England footballer Peter for almost two decades.

The couple married in 2011, five years after they started dating, and now share four children together. They regularly discuss the highs and lows of married life on their podcast, The Therapy Crouch.

In a recent episode, a listener wrote in saying their friends had all found themselves in relationships meaning they had no one to go out with. It prompted the woman to ask them if they would attend a singles night together.

Former Liverpool forward Peter, 44, expressed sympathy for the woman, but he thinks it should be a straightforward “girls night.” He said, “I understand she wants to go out with the girls, that’s fine, go to a pub, go to a restaurant, you can’t go to a singles night.”

What’s the difference between a singles night and a typical night out on the town, according to Abbey? How would you feel if I told you that my partner is single and he doesn’t have a girlfriend, that’s when I’m going to this singles night tonight? “I’m just going to go to this singles night,” Peter said.

With Sophia’s daughter Sophia, Peter and Abbey recently took a trip to Wimbledon.

I’d be like a grow-up, Abbey said. Your relationship won’t turn around if you’re confident enough and secure in it.

Husband Peter retaliated, claiming that if she wouldn’t let him leave, Abbey “isn’t confident enough in their relationship.” She said, “I’m not, I’m absolutely not, I wouldn’t trust you as much as I could throw you.”

You’re locked out, sir, right now. Maybe not for singles nights, but I would help my friend.

Peter and Abbey met in Liverpool in 2005. Recalling how they met during an interview on Good Morning Britain, Abbey said: “When we first met, he begged me for my number and then I went to the loo or the bar, and when I came back, he was talking to another girl. I was like, ‘How dare you?’”

Peter continued, saying that he was “just talking to the other girl,” but Abbey requested her phone number back. I said, “You can’t give someone your number and then take it back,” he continued.

Their relationship blossomed despite the initial setback, and the couple tied the knot on June 30, 2011. The family reside in a “magical” Surrey mansion with its own cinema room and expansive garden, according to OK!

Abbey frequently posts pictures of the sprawling mansion on her social media accounts. Fans have spotted Peter enjoying the property’s outdoor swimming pool and wooden play area as well as his large, wooden desk with football trophy.
