Model Abbey Clancy, 39, and former Liverpool footballer Peter Crouch, 44, have four children, but she admits she isn’t looking forward to a single moment with their family.

Abbey Clancy has revealed her fears about a “dreaded” family milestone she describes as “so sad”. The model has been wed to former England striker Peter Crouch for more than ten years.

Sophia, 14, Liberty, 10, Johnny, 7, and Jack, 6, are the parents of the pair. Peter, 44, suggested Abbey will find it difficult when their brood eventually leaves home in their most recent podcast episode of The Therapy Crouch.

This prompted 39-year-old Abbey to quip that she fancies creating a “compound” complete with an “electric fence” to prevent her youngsters from departing the family nest, reports Wales Online.

The discussion arose after a listener shared how much they missed having their children around following one son’s move to Australia and another’s departure for university.

A tearful Abbey admitted that she is anxious about the departure of her own children. That’s so sad, she said.

Sofia, you can’t recall the day you carried her, and I’m dreading that day. She is currently taller than me.

Peter made a joke about rushing home to grab Sophia.

He responded, “I’ll just go pick her up and take note of the time and date right now.”

Their producer Ross was enthralled by the fact that every parent eventually carries their child for the last time.

Abbey then made the case that Peter, who is 6′ 7″, could still bring “his teenage daughter.”

The former Liverpool player responded, “I’m going to take the time and date down and just go pick her up.”

Abbey fondly recalls the times when she would take the kids for a bath together.

She continued, “I used to have the three babies in the bath, together, and now Lib says, “Oh I’m not getting in there, I’ll get in the shower.”

The pair also admitted they would be interested in moving to Australia.

Abbey revealed that she even suggested for her husband to leave the UK.

Peter responded, “I’d love to, I’d love to.” I do love it, yes, I do believe I would, but I’ve never been.

Peter and Abbey initially crossed paths in Liverpool in 2005. During a chat on Good Morning Britain, Abbey remembered their first meeting: “When we first met, he begged me for my number. Then I went to the loo or the bar, and when I came back, he was talking to another girl. I thought, ‘How dare you?’

Abbey demanded her number back after Peter explained that he was “just talking” to the other woman.

He responded, “You can’t give someone your number and then turn it in.”

Their romance quickly grew, and they tied the knot on June 30, 2011 despite this shaky beginning.

According to OK! The duo now reside in a “magical” mansion in Surrey with a sprawling garden and its own cinema room.

As well as enjoying the outdoor swimming pool and wooden play area, Abbey frequently shares photos of their home on social media showing Peter working at his large, wooden desk with a football trophy.
