In a recent episode of the couple’s podcast, The Therapy Crouch, which revealed details about a family trip to the United Arab Emirates, Abbey Clancy’s accusation surfaced.
Abbey Clancy has claimed that a world-class tennis player was “flirting” with her husband, Peter Crouch, in the Middle East. The cheeky dig came after the pair returned from a trip to the United Arab Emirates, where Peter attended the star-packed World Sports Summit in Dubai.
Held at the Gulf state’s Madinat Jumeirah resort in December 2025, the summit styled itself as an “exclusive global gathering dedicated to inspiring the future of sport” on its official website.
While they were there, Peter and their daughter, Sophia, attended a “Battle of the Sexes” exhibition tennis match between Belarusian world number one Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios.
Abbey said, “I was so jealous that he went there because I wanted to go as well.” In a podcast about Therapy Crouch, Abbey remarked, “I was so jealous.” Because the tennis matches are “too long” for her children, she was unable to participate.
Peter added that his daughter was able to meet Sophia’s tennis icon Sabalenka on court, before Abbey levelled a playful accusation about an interaction with her husband.
She joked, “She was flirting with you, wasn’t she?” to which Peter, who appeared to be playing along, responded, “Yeah.” Abbey first introduced Sabalenka, giving off a mock flirty voice.
Because she’s like, “Oh, I love looking up to a man’s first time,” Pete said. She didn’t say that at all, Peter responded.
He went on to say that she wasn’t “flirting at all” and that she simply stated that it was “nice to look up to someone.”
In other news, Abbey was recently flooded with messages of support as she marked her 40th birthday. The mum-of-four thanked her former Liverpool FC player partner for arranging a special day and disclosed that she’d been to Paris.
She shared photos from the trip, saying, “What a weekend for my 40th birthday, I feel so loved. Thank you to my amazing husband and my wonderful family and friends who have travelled from all over the world. I love you all.”
In response, her friends and followers took to the comments to share their birthday messages, one of whom was Carol Vorderman, who said: “Wow happy birthday top woman xx.”
Denise van Outen posted: “Happy birthday beautiful.” Meanwhile, Olivia Attwood added: “Super model!!!” That’s not all, however, as the model’s close friend, Holly Willoughby, also shared a photo of the pair on her Instagram Story.
The message, which was titled “A couples of 10s,” mentioned Holly’s birthday on February 10 and Abbey turned 40 on January 10.
