ABBA stars perform together again at incredible encore for ABBA Voyage anniversary

After the performance, which included new songs like Super Trouper, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Elvis Costello, and Guy Garvey took the microphone.

Lucky fans were treated to an incredible encore at the ABBA Voyage 3rd anniversary show – when two of the original band member sang and played piano.

The revolutionary concert featuring cutting-edge technology so the band appear as avatars on screen features spectacular lighting, and now even more of the most beloved songs ever written after new ones were added last night.

The celebratory event featured band members Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson, and the audience screamed in delight when they learned they were watching the performance.

After the performance, which included new songs like Super Trouper, Benny played piano with Elvis Costello and Guy Garvey taking the lead vocals, while fellow ABBA member Anni-Frid, known as Frida, watched in white in a backstage garden area for some of the invited guests.

At one point, Elvis sparingly gave Frida the microphone, which brought them and Benny back together for a few bars. Elvis sung The Winner Takes It All and Knowing Me, Knowing You, and Guy sung The Winner Takes It All.

The crowd which included Myleene Klass and Denise Van Outen looked on stunned to see Abba members joining in the party.

And Guy told the Mirror: “That was amazing. That’s the soundtrack to everyone in my family getting christened and married, they are absolute legends.

“About a week ago, I learned that (encore) was occurring. It was incredible. Benny was genuinely gentleman and very funny.

“I hadn’t seen the show tonight.” My mind was blown.

At eight years old, my son is becoming quite the dancer, so I will indoctrinate him with Abba’s back catalogue. It was a wonderful and wonderful experience. The ideal night out, in my opinion.

The audience was already raving about the new tracks and imagery earlier in the evening, with Super Trouper undoubtedly being the best example.

At the conclusion of the Abba Voyage concert in the arena, Frida also addressed the audience and said, “Thank you for your support over the years. That would probably take at least 50 years. This year, I will turn 80! Thank you for your love.
