The Mirror examines the most talked-about celebrity wedding of the year, including the lavish gift registry, as Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty prepare to tie the knot amid ongoing family drama.
After a year of ups and downs, Olympian swimmer Adam Peaty will announce his engagement to his wife Holly Ramsay, the daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay.
The historic Bath Abbey will host the grand, festive ceremony. Following a reception held at Kin House, an elegant Georgian estate set in the Wiltshire countryside, guests will then toast the newlyweds. The weekend wedding at the stunning manor house costs from £32, 750, and it appears to be a fairytale-themed day.
However, a family dispute, which reportedly resulted in Caroline Peaty’s mother being permanently barred from the nuptials, has overshadowed the preparations.
Here, as the family drama continues. the Mirror takes a look inside the most talked-about wedding of the year.

Swish gift registry
According to the Daily Mail, guests at the Peaty-Ramsay wedding can choose from a list that will be able to fit any budget, from £23 to £1, 896 for a barbecue oven.
Many of these additions have been made with their shared home in Kegworth, Leicestershire in mind, it is obvious. A Luna Home woven cream recliner chair with a matching footstool costs £800, along with a mahogany table from the high-end company Little Green Egg, which costs a whopping $995.
A number of gifts are available from the upscale lifestyle brand Nkuku, including a £30 Sadra rattan log basket, a £65 Inkollu aged brass hanging basket, a £32 Chapad natural hanging basket, and a Rama set of five black wall hooks, which retail for £48. A £350 Japandi rattan baby chest changer from Tutti Bambini, on the other hand, would indicate the couple is planning to start a family of their own.
Unfortunately, Caroline, 59, won’t be present for Adam and Holly, but despite all the outcry, she is still eager to send her best wishes to her future children and grandchildren, and even made a gift selection from the registry.
Former nursery manager Caroline explained to the Mail Online that the present was a good one. The grandmother, who lives in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, also intends to send a card, but says, “I don’t know if they will even open it.”
Guests with star-studded names
It’s expected that A-listers will be in attendance on the big day, including one of the most famous couples on the planet – David and Victoria Beckham. Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria was, of course, a guest at Holly’s chic Soho Farmhouse hen do, which Caroline did not attend.
Holly will be seen dancing in full force by The Ramsays, but it’s believed that only Bethany, Adam’s sister, will be present at the time of writing.
Caroline is still optimistic that Adam will change his mind six weeks before the festive nuptials. The mother, who has dedicated her life to helping her son compete in swimming, said, “I would go if he changed his mind.” I want to visit Bath, visit the abbey, and watch his wedding. He’s still my little boy, and I love him.
Louise, the aunt of Adam, has now claimed that her sister, who was frantically returning his five-year-old grandson George to his mother, Eirianedd Munro, was forced to hide the intense “hurt and betrayal” she experienced in front of her young grandchild, was aware when she learned she had been dropped from the invite list.
Other members of Adam’s family claim that Caroline was unable to afford the cost of travel and lodging, making attendance a possibility. We were sent a “save the date,” according to a relative, and it’s all these country houses. I can’t afford that because I’m on Universal Credit. In addition, Adam’s family has asserted that his working-class roots have been “changed by money, fame, and fortune” and that he is “ashamed” of them. According to a family source, “He seems to have forgotten where he came from.”
Four change of outfits
Before their disagreement, Adam had offered to cover Caroline’s expenses, including her outfit, shoes, nails, and hair. Caroline claims that Caroline would have needed four dresses for the extravagant occasion.
She had intended to pair a cream dress with navy-blue accessories, but Adam didn’t like it. He said “Only a bride wears white,” and Caroline responded, “It’s not white, it’s cream.”
Caroline paid £452 for this particular dress, but she still kept a gold two-piece, a fascinator, and shoes. Caroline claims she was able to cover the costs by selling items on the used book Vinted.
