The 98th Academy Awards will be held in Hollywood on March 15 with the following nominees for key categories:

The Academy announced on Thursday that the vampire-themed horror film “Sinners” broke the record for nominations at the Oscars with 16 nominations.

The 1930s segregated US South drama, which featured Ryan Coogler, received nominations in nearly every possible category, including best picture.

It blew past the previous record of 14 held by “All About Eve,” “Titanic,” and “La La Land” alone.

The first new category to be added to Hollywood’s most prestigious awards in more than 20 years was “Sinners,” which also received a nomination for best casting.
