Adam Peaty’s sister’s heartbreaking of ‘betrayal’ of mum Caroline to fit in with Ramsays

Bethany Peaty’s sister, in a rumor, betrayed his mother Caroline by attending his wedding and isn’t the Bethany we know after “changing” to fit in with the Ramsays.

The Peaty family reportedly feel Adam Peaty’s sister has “betrayed” her mother by attending his wedding. Bethany was not just the only member of the family still invited to the wedding but part of the bridal party.

On 27 December, Adam married Holly Ramsay at Bath Abbey. While her family were in attendance, the majority of his were uninvited. Though his sister, Bethany, attended, Adam’s parents, Caroline and Mark, and his brothers, James and Richard, stayed in Staffordshire.

Due to a continuing family feud, the Peatys were uninvited, and Bethany’s attendance was described as “betrayal.” They claimed that Beth had betrayed her mother to see what she could gain from being the only family member to enjoy Adam and Holly.

The 32-year-old bridesmaid, along with Holly’s sisters Megan and Tilly, had “changed” to fit in with her brother’s new in-laws, according to the source in a conversation with The Sun. She’s changed her appearance and personality to fit the celebrity lifestyle of the Ramsays, according to the actress.

The Ramsays’ family believed that the family had planned the family feud to end his parents, according to the source. They cited Gordon Ramsay’s speech, which reportedly claimed Holly didn’t have her in-laws around and claimed it was the Ramsays’ “plan all along.”

At the engagement party in 2024, Gordon and Caroline allegedly got into a fight when Caroline was angry that several of her family members had been turned down. Caroline was later declined an invitation to Holly’s hen do. Caroline was denied entry to the wedding because her sister, Louise, wrote a furious message to the couple after this, and Holly reportedly became upset.

After receiving threatening messages, police at Manchester Airport met Adam when he returned from his stag do, and took him to safety. James, his brother, was detained for allegedly sending the messages.

Even though they had already booked a place to stay and had already purchased outfits and wedding gifts for the couple, Adam disinvited his great-aunt Janet and her husband Eddie, according to the source.

Before his entry to the Abbey on the 27th, his aunt, Louise, allegedly wrote in furious letters to her nephew: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through, and she still loves you. You two deserve shame. After falling out with her son, she was said to have added that Caroline’s “soul screams.”

He continued, “I Swear is the movie I’m talking about.” This follows Tourette’s owner John Davidson. From the time he was 14 when he was first diagnosed with Tourette’s all the way to the present.

The impact of friends and family, plus people finding out who Tourette’s really is, is what he has done, and it’s the most I have cried at a movie all year.

Luke described the movie as “something else” despite having previously watched a documentary about John Davidson’s experiences and being familiar with his journey.

BBC’s Clive Myrie opens up on wife’s ‘seriously bad’ infection over Christmas

Clive Myrie, a journalist for BBC News, revealed his wife Catherine was suffering from a lung infection that made them have to snooze from family gatherings over Christmas.

BBC presenter Clive Myrie has opened up about a concerning health scare that cast a shadow over his Christmas festivities, disclosing that his wife Catherine was fighting a “seriously bad” lung infection during the holiday season.

The 61-year-old newsreader explained that the couple chose to spend a quiet, private Christmas away from alcohol and to make up for old family ties to protect elderly relatives while Catherine recuperated.

Chatting to Romesh Ranganathan on BBC Radio 2, Clive shared: “It’s been a quiet Christmas, which was nice. Very nice, I spent it at home with my wife Catherine, who had a seriously bad lung infection, would you believe?”

He continued to explain how the illness affected their festive choices, saying, “First of all, we couldn’t drink any booze, which was a bit of a problem, it was shocking.”

Clive’s explanation of the pair’s difficult decision to avoid seeing their loved ones was a more depressing note. “But let’s be honest with you, it meant that my family and I couldn’t see them until Christmas.” My dad is 95, my mum is 90. And Catherine’s mother carries 95. People of that age should not be exposed to viral infections. The Daily Record reports that era.

Instead, the pair chose a less formal holiday season, with Clive calling it a “nice quiet Christmas” and reassured her that Catherine is now recovering.

He explained how they celebrated while taking their medication with a modest substitute for bubbly, “Catherine’s on the mend now,” he explained.

We were drinking fizzy tea, which is what you can get in bottles, right? Sorry, he quipped, “Sorry, fizzy tea, no-alcohol.”

Later, they arrived at the moment when they could finally enjoy a proper celebratory beverage.

“And then, on Christmas Day, we had a nice glass of champagne after she finished taking the antibiotics. It was lovely, too. It was lovely.

After first dating in 1992, Clive and Catherine first met and wed six years later. The pair have consistently maintained the intimacy of their relationship, favoring a life that is unafraid of public scrutiny, despite Clive’s well-known career.

Clive and Catherine have previously discussed the importance of maintaining normalcy and balance in their home. Catherine works as a furniture restorer and upholsterer.

The couple have also been candid regarding their choice not to become parents, with Clive previously revealing to The Times that they had originally intended to start a family. Nevertheless, following difficulties with conception, he explained they reassessed their priorities and instead concentrated on their professional lives and travelling the world.
