A 53-year-old British man drove his car into fans on Monday, injuring dozens of people, and celebrating Liverpool’s Premier League victory.

Natasha Hamilton revealed her father and nephew were at the Liverpool parade moments before a car drove into fans. Fans were celebrating Liverpool’s Premier League victory on Monday when a 53-year-old white British man drove his car into fans, injuring dozens of people.

Four children were injured in the incident in Liverpool last night, a spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service recently confirmed. It was announced that 20 patients were treated at the scene for minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment. 27 people were taken to the hospital via ambulance, with two of them sustaining serious injuries. A cyclist paramedic was also struck by the vehicle but was not injured.

Following the horrific incident, Atomic Kitten singer Natasha revealed her dad and nephew were at the very same parade that day as she took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of the two wearing Liverpool shirts.

She stated, “Today, my dad and nephew attended the celebration parade in Liverpool.” When I watched the video, my heart raced. Although they are both safe, I’m absolutely horrified by what I saw today, and my thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected.

Service confirmed two people have been seriously injured, one of whom is a child. Merseyside Police are not treating the horror as an act of terrorism.

Three adults and one child who had fallen asleep underneath a car were quickly freed by fire crews and ambulances. A car struck several people before coming to a halt in disturbing video that is available on social media.

The chaotic aftermath is depicted in other scene-related videos, where fans can be seen disoriented by what has just transpired.

A 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area was arrested in relation to the incident. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the scenes in Liverpool were “appalling” and added his thoughts were with the victims.

In a statement, the police urged people to “not speculate on the circumstances” of the collision. They continued, “We can confirm that the man being detained is a 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area.” The circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated for a great deal.

Many people prayed and posted their thoughts to John Bishop, one of the attendees at the Liverpool parade.

The comedian, who was at the parade earlier in the day, said: “I was at the parade today with my dad and like everyone else I am shocked and heartbroken about the events at the end of the Liverpool parade.”

Bishop expressed his sympathy for the victims, saying, “My heart goes out to all those affected.” You’ll Never Walk Alone, our anthem, is incomparably appropriate.

Oasis icon Liam has joined a number of famous people on Twitter to post their thoughts on the site, which was previously known as X. Everton legend Toni Duggan, who played for Lioness and Scouse, said: “Think of anyone affected by that terrible incident today. Everyone is okay, please. Liverpool Football Club stated in a statement posted on X that “we are in direct contact with Merseyside Police regarding the incident on Water Street that occurred earlier this evening toward the end of the trophy parade.” Those affected by this troubling incident are in our thoughts and prayers. Additionally, three adults and one child were buried underneath a vehicle, along with four others. Following this evening’s shocking incident, which we have designated as a major incident, Merseyside Police Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims said: “I want to thank all of the emergency services, partner agencies, and members of the public who came to the aid of the injured. With hundreds of thousands of people lining the streets of Liverpool to celebrate the victory parade, the city was filled with joy on this occasion.

“Many people have been hurt and taken to a hospital,” the statement reads. A large number of people of all ages received treatment at the scene, but they did not require hospitalization.

At a press conference late on Monday evening, North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) spokesperson said there were 20 treated at the scene, including four children, and 27 people were taken to the hospital. One of the children, according to him, was one of the two hospitalized, and both of them received serious injuries. Some patients have also taken their own lives to nearby hospitals, according to Mr. Kitchin.

Merseyside Police reported that shortly after 6 o’clock on the same day as Liverpool’s fans celebrated their Premier League victory with their fans, an incident occurred on Water Street. A dark-grey people-carrier was spotted horn-bearing and crashing into dozens of fans as it passed through the crowd.

The car reportedly stalled midway through the street before speeding back into the crowd. Numerous people were thrown to the floor as the car accelerated, according to horrifying footage from the scene. In the middle of Water Street, it finally came to a stop, and officers immediately intervened to appoint a guard.

The mayor of Liverpool should be able to honor their heroes without this horror, according to Sir Keir Starmer, who claimed he had spoken with him about the incident.
