After recovering from a hamstring injury, Paris St-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele is fit for Wednesday’s Champions League semifinal second leg against Arsenal.
After coming off in the second half of last week’s first game at Emirates Stadium, the French international was deemed a doubt.
The 27-year-old skipped Paris St-Germain’s Ligue 1 game defeat against Strasbourg on Sunday and resumed training on Monday. He scored the only goal in north London.
Manager Luis Enrique stated that “he’s been training with us for the past two days.”
You saw him on Tuesday, which is typical for him training. On Wednesday, he’ll be available.

According to the justice minister, an opposition activist who Uganda’s military chief, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, claimed he held captive in his basement has appeared in court “visibly weak” and showing signs of torture.
According to Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) party, Eddie Mutwe, who serves as Uganda’s top opposition figure’s chief bodyguard, and  . Bobi Wine, went missing on April 27 after being kidnapped by armed men near the capital, Kampala.
The eldest child of Yoweri Museveni’s long-time leader, Chief of Defence Forces Kainerugaba, claimed last week that he had detained Mutwe and that he had “used him as a punching bag” after having captured him “like a grasshopper” on X.
Kainerugaba claimed that Mutwe had been tortured and had been shaved.
He remarked of the opposition, “We will discipline them even more if they keep provoking us.”
facing robbery charges
Mutwe was detained on robbery charges on Monday and was later remanded in custody, according to his attorney.
Justice Minister Norbert Mao claimed that Mutwe was “in a visibly weak condition and showing signs of torture” when he showed up in court late on Monday.
According to Mao, the leader of an opposition party and appointed justice minister in 2022, “bringing illegally detained, brutalized, and tortured suspects before the courts of justice is an abuse of judicial processes.”
Mao called on the courts to resolve the opposition figure’s case right away, noting who was to blame for Mutwe’s condition.
Magellan Kazibwe, Mutwe’s attorney, claimed Monday that his client had been subjected to daily electrocution and torture while being held in custody.

crackdown on opposition
In advance of a general election in January, Wine has been preparing to launch a “protest vote” campaign as part of an escalation of crackdown on the Ugandan opposition.
Wine, a former singer who went by the pseudonym Robert Kyagulanyi and is now Museveni’s main opponent, reported on X on Friday that security forces had “just raided and cordoned off our headquarters.”
He also blasted Mutwe’s abduction, telling the AFP news agency that it “showed the world how law and order has broken down in Uganda.”

Kainerugaba, who is widely believed to be ready to take the place of his 80-year-old father, frequently makes obscene remarks on social media and has stated on X that he wanted to behead Wine.
The Ugandan government has received a lot of international apologies for the abduction of opposition figures, including veteran leader Kizza Besigye, who was sequestered in Kenya last year and was forcefully sent back to face treason charges.
Museveni has refuted claims that he violated human rights, saying that he has been in power since 1986 and intends to run for president in January.
The abduction of Mutwe was not an isolated incident, according to the Uganda Law Society.
Instead, it is “part of a systematic campaign to crush young people’s aspirations for freedom,” the organization said in a statement.
Cecile Reinaud, the founder of Sesaphine, says the rebrand, which Princess Kate loves throughout all three of her pregnancies, is causing resentment from the brand’s founders.

Maternity fashion label Seraphine – a favourite of the Princess of Wales during all three of her pregnancies – is facing backlash from its own founder over a controversial rebrand that sees it ditching its “regal look”.
Cecile Reinaud, who launched the business in 2002 and sold it for £50million in 2021, has publicly criticised the label’s recent overhaul, accusing it of turning its back on the brand’s British roots. The French-born entrepreneur, now 51, opened Seraphine’s first boutique in Kensington, west London, before expanding into international markets like France and the US.
The label became a global sensation in 2013 when the then-Duchess of Cambridge appeared in an official photograph with baby Prince George, wearing the brand’s fuchsia “Jolene” dress – which sold out in just two hours.

She continued to wear Seraphine with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis throughout their pregnancy.
Seraphine’s client list includes celebrities like Myleene Klass, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Anne Hathaway and Pippa Middleton.

However, Reinaud now asserts that the business has abandoned its original name as a result of Mayfair Equity Partners’ most recent rebranding.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Reinaud said: “Why abandon our unique British heritage and signature regal purple? Seraphine was once a proud example of British fashion entrepreneurship… now, it seems to have lost its recognisable identity.”
A new logo and visual identity were just released by the business to give it a more contemporary feel.
But Reinaud took issue with the direction, describing it as “resembling a Scandinavian label” and lacking the spirit that made Seraphine stand out in the maternity fashion world.
She continued, “My original goal was to make clothes that you could wear even if you weren’t pregnant.” That guiding principle appears to have vanished.
She was also disappointed that Chelsey Westwood, a creative director, stepped down from her position. Her designs were a significant part in the brand’s early success.
A new logo and a complete website overhaul are included in the rebranding.
Her unmatched talent contributed to the success of the company, according to the statement.
A spokesperson for Mayfair Equity Partners defended the rebranding, saying: “Last week was a hugely exciting moment for Seraphine, with the unveiling of its enhanced website and refreshed brand identity that incorporated consumer desire for a modernized look and feel.”
Sales are thought to have decreased since the brand’s sale in 2021, which is a factor in the brand’s decision to relaunch with a new logo and updated design.
Sharing the news on Instagram, they posted: “It’s here. We’ve had a rebirth. After over 20 years pushing the boundaries of what maternity fashion is, we’ve had a rebirth – relaunching our website with a refreshed brand voice for a new era.”
It appears that customers have embraced the change, despite the founder’s disappointment. “So exciting,” one person wrote. One person continued, “Looks amazing!”

Customers can now expect more information from the brand, including a wishlist feature, back-in-stock notifications, clever categories, a brand-new blog The Kick, details about the website’s design, and customer reviews.

Watford have sacked head coach Tom Cleverley after the team failed to reach the Championship play-offs.
The Hornets finished 14th in the table after taking only one point from their last five games – a 1-1 season-ending draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
Former Manchester United, Everton and Watford midfielder Cleverley, capped 13 times by England, was appointed as interim boss in March 2024 following Valerien Ismael’s departure.
He was then confirmed in the post on a permanent basis the following month.
The 35-year-old was in charge for 60 games in total, winning 20 and losing 26.
Sporting director Gian Luca Nani said: “The time has come for a change and to build on what we believe is a young and talented squad that will have benefited from the experience of the Championship this season.
“It has been a privilege to work closely with Tom; to understand how he sees the game and his enthusiasm for everything here. He deserves to be recognised for this and I’m sure he will have a bright future in the game.”
Cleverley was the first head coach to remain in charge for an entire season since Javi Gracia in 2018-19.
He was unbeaten at home in his first 15 league games as boss, but results took a downturn following a 2-1 defeat by Cardiff on 29 December and they only took five points from the next nine matches.
Reports in Spain earlier this season claimed former Villarreal head coach Jose Rojo Martin, known as Pacheta, had been in talks with Watford to replace him.
In January, the club dismissed that as “pure speculation” and owner Gino Pozzo later said of Cleverley: “We are committed to support him and look forward to the challenges ahead together.”
Speaking last week, Cleverley said that hopes of achieving a play-off place had been undermined by injuries, particularly among his forwards.
“There’s no difference in the number of goals we’ve conceded from pre-January to post-January, but the amount of goals we’ve scored has dropped significantly,” he said.
He promised to learn the lessons of the campaign and added: “We spent 10 weeks in the play-offs [places], we showed real positive signs before the turn of the year and I think we can clearly identify where and why we’ve run out of a bit of steam.
“We’ve got an incredibly young squad, the average age is boosted up by one or two individuals, but apart from that it’s largely under 25 and the majority under 21 at the minute.
“The experiences they will have had this year – some bad ones – to really develop and ultimately improve from is one of the really exciting positives from this season.”
No Watford manager or head coach has lasted an entire calendar year in the job since Malky Mackay in 2010.
Since being relegated from the Premier League in 2022, they have finished 11th, 15th and now 14th.

‘Supporters will be upset and angry’ – analysis
By Geoff Doyle, BBC Three Counties Radio sport editor
This is going to go down very badly with Watford fans. Tom Cleverley was a really popular head coach – probably the most popular since Javi Gracia who took the club to a Wembley FA Cup final – and supporters will be upset and angry.
Cleverley was a former player who first joined the club when he was a youngster on loan from Manchester United and then came back towards the end of his career. He then became academy manager at the club before his role as first-team head coach.
Watford were seen as possible relegation candidates this season but Cleverley had them in and around the play-offs all season before they drifted away.
He also had to go through a seriously awkward situation in January where his club had to reassure him he wasn’t being sacked on the day of a game when reports in Spain suggested the club had a new man lined up.
The Watford board feel like it’s the right time for change and can point to a poor run of form in the last four months. But Watford fans’ favourite song this season has been about not caring about owner Gino Pozzo and only caring about Cleverley.
