Linda Robson took Paul Danan under her wing after his acting gigs dried up and he was left without money.

The late Hollyoaks and Love Island star tragically passed away this year on January 15 at the age of 46, having faced a tumultuous life in the spotlight, including a struggle with drug addiction. The reality TV personality, who also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, is said to have died after he had ‘ slipped and fell ‘ in his luxury apartment near Bristol.

Two months on, Linda, 66, has opened up to Bella magazine about the incredibly challenging year she’s had. The Loose Women panellist revealed how she’s been struggling in the wake of his death and the heartbreaking dementia diagnosis of her Birds of a Feather co-star, Pauline Quirke.

The TV star shared how she had fond memories of her time with Paul, which included when they had appeared on Celebrity Coach Trip. “I travelled around Portugal with him for 10 days, ‘ she said. ‘ I loved him – he was such a good boy, he really was”, she said.

“Lesley]Joseph] and I looked after him on Coach Trip because he didn’t have any money, so we helped him out with that and then we got him presents for his little boy, DeNir”. However, sadly Linda had been away when she found out about Paul’s death, saying: “I was away on a cruise when I found out”.

In a podcast last year, Paul told how he was living in a ‘ dry house ‘ in Bristol which is believed to be the flat where he was found dead. Over the years, he had been brutally honest about his struggles with addiction. The actor even came close to death after an overdose that occurred shortly after he left a rehab facility in South Africa. He was found “choking on his last breath” after he took an overdose of heroin.

Months before his death, Danan discussed how he ended up working in a phone shop after the offers dried up.

On a podcast in November, he said: “It’s very tough. I mean, maybe years ago, I shouldn’t have left Hollyoaks, but I made that decision because, after four years, I didn’t want to be typecast and back then, everyone didn’t want to be the next Ken Barlow. You wanted to go off and play different roles, especially when you’re a real actor”.

Paul explained how starring in reality shows led to the demise of his career. He said: “It was a detriment to my acting career because it didn’t help. Maybe if I had stayed in the background and didn’t make a big splash, I would probably have been alright. But you know me, if I’m on a show, I’m going to give it my all and be TV gold! It didn’t help with my acting career because suddenly people were like ‘ Oh, we don’t want to hire a reality star! ‘”

Controversial rapper Kanye West has fuelled outrage with a new offensive post on his Instagram account today.

The Gold Digger rapper, 47, who has become more widely known in recent years for his hate-filled online rants and publicity stunts – namely his Grammys red carpet stunt with his wife Bianca Censori – than his music has added fuel to the fire with his latest offering. The post on Instagram depicts a white robe with a tie around the waist and a long, pointed hood which would completely cover the face of a person wearing the robe – apart from the eyes.

The distinctive style of the robe is notoriously worn by members of the Klu Klux Klan – also known as the KKK – an American Protestant-led Christian extremist, white supremacist, far-right hate group known for its racist views, especially against African Americans and black people. Although the KKK also discriminated against Roman Catholics, Jews and Mexicans.

As the rapper posted a photo of the robe on his Instagram page, Kanye penned in the caption: “Outfit of the day”, appearing to make light of the outrageous, racist share. The post drew criticism from followers of Kanye as one commented with: “What the hell is this attention seeking behavior”.

Another added: “You have black children. What is wrong with you?”? While a third penned: “Has to be rage bait” as another simply said: “Unfollow”.

The recent hate-filled post is one of many from Kanye – who went on a rant on X, formerly known as Twitter, earlier this year after his wife Bianca’s Grammys stunt. Days after Bianca was pictured wearing nothing but a completely sheer dress on the red carpet of the award ceremony, Kanye claimed he had a ‘ dominion ‘ over his wife and shared a string of anti-semitic and racist posts on the platform.

In the wake of his online outbursts, a number of stars have spoken out as Blac Chyna – who previously dated Kaye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s brother Rob Kardashian – shared her take on Kanye’s rants. The reality TV star and model, 36, appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored and explained: “So, I’m not a doctor, and I honestly think maybe more so abandonment ship]issues]. You know what I mean? If you take a look back at like, all the people that’s been in his life, and he kind of like, put them on a pedestal and was there for them, they kind left. And I feel like that kind of sucks, because sometimes we have to be there for people, and I feel like he hasn’t really found that support yet that’s going to stick by you through it all. So I think that’s where the outburst is coming from”.

Meanwhile, Kanye’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose gave her take. Amber, 41, sat down with Shannon Sharpe for his Club Shay Shay podcast. She claimed: “Kanye is for sure dressing her like that. Yeah, he did the same thing to me and Kim. It’s just who he is. He wants other men to want his woman. That’s what he’s into, he likes that. He likes that men are drooling over his woman. That’s what he’s into”.

Hailey Bieber has shared rare photos of her son Jack as fans continue to share concern over her husband Justin’s welfare.

The 28-year-old mum-of-one posted two adorable photos of herself with her son Jack Blues, who she shares with husband Justin, 31, on her Instagram page. The first photo sees Hailey looking lovingly at her baby son, who she gave birth to in August, as she smiles while the tot grabs his mum’s hair.

Hailey is wearing a wide-brimmed wicker hat for the photo while Jack is wearing a sweet red crocheted bonnet. The second snap sees the tot holding both hands up towards his mum, who has her eyes closed while holding her son – with her iridescent nails on show in the image. As Hailey shared the pictures with her 54.3 million followers she captioned the snapshots with a flaming heart emoji.

As she posted the snaps, Hailey was flooded with gushing comments from fans as one wrote: “The little hands” while another added: “The beautiful moments that make life worth living”.

Meanwhile, other fans took the opportunity to take aim at Hailey, claiming she was using the post of her son as an opportunity to divert attention away from the concern over Justin and their marriage. “She uses her own son to clean up her dirt”, one critic penned as others were quick to defend the star. One wrote: “love this response from her. At the end of the day haters will be miserable and dedicate their lives to hating her because they obviously have a horrible life. Hailey ends every day with her husband, baby and succesful brand she’s winning”.

Her latest Instagram share comes amid growing concerns over the Peaches singer and his marriage to Hailey. Justin has been looking noticeably weary during recent public outings, which has sparked concern over his health.

Later, Justin shared a video of himself on a plane rapping about ‘ being high ‘ and concerned fans further as he was seen smoking in other social media posts. Fans have taken to the comments section of his recent post, which is a darkened snap of the singer appearing to be singing in a studio.

The caption-less post was an opportunity for fans to comment their concerns and well-wishes to the star as one said: “I’m here to send you love and wishing you’re alright, we care about you Justin keep the faith and strength, Lord Jesus loves you do much!! “!

Another added: “I hope you heal from things you don’t speak about”!

While his wife shared her own post yesterday, Justin has also taken to his Instagram to share a direct message to fans – which appears to be in response to the growing public concern about the singer. The Instagram story share read: “We have nothing to prove today

” Just the gift of life today to accept and recieve]sic] nothing is owed to use and we dont]sic] owe anyone anything “he ended the post with a heart emoji and added Stevie Wonder’s song Sir Duke to play in the background of the share.
