Frankie Bridge has shared an emotional update about her mental health with fans. The Saturdays star, who has been open about her mental health struggles since 2011, made the confession in an Instagram video as a reminder that people might be struggling behind the scenes.

” My depression is absolutely kicking my a*** at the moment, I’m so over it. You just feel like you do all the things you’re told you’re meant to do, and then it just still always comes back.

She sadly added: “I’m just so bored of myself, it is so boring, and I just think everyone around me must just be so bored of it as well, and I just, I’m over it”.

The I’m a Celebrity star tried to look on the bright side, and shared: “But I’m here, I’m going to try and do as much as I can in the gym, because I know it will make me feel better, instead just sitting around eating s**t, which is what I’ve been doing all day, which only makes me feel worse, and I know that, so I don’t know why I do it, but here we are back in the same old place.”

After her workout, Frankie updated fans to say that pushing herself to get moving had helped. “So there is not much that a little bit of Paramore and a workout can’t fix, I definitely feel a lot better.

” And if I hadn’t have come in, I’d have just berated myself even more, that I had the whole day that I was able to come to the gym, and I just didn’t, I just sat around and just wallowed in self-pity, and so I am glad that I did. “

The brave singer mused:” I feel like it’s picked me up, but why couldn’t I have done this earlier? And then I might have had a better day, but then, equally, I just couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t get in here before now, so it is what it is, I should just be pleased that I’ve done it. “

Frankie is an ambassador for the mental health charity Mind, and just last week admitted that her mental health was at a low after being hit by a “horrendous bug.”

DJ legend Johnnie Walker’s widow reveals his final months and sweet act for friends

Much-loved radio DJ, Johnnie Walker, died at the age of 79 in December just months after hosting his final BBC Radio 2 Sounds Of The 70s show

The widow of late DJ legend, Johnnie Walker, has revealed the star’s final weeks and heartbreaking act of kindness three months after his death

The widow of late DJ legend, Johnnie Walker, has opened up about the star’s final weeks and heartbreaking act of kindness three months after his death. Johnnie died at the age of 79 in December just months after hosting his final BBC Radio 2 Sounds Of The 70s show after being diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).

Speaking for the first time about his tearjerking last moments, Tiggy Walker, who was married to the former BBC DJ for 23 years, revealed her husband wanted to do a ‘ final kitchen disco ‘ for his friends and legion of loyal followers – despite being in a wheelchair and on oxygen.

Taking to the airwaves on Boom Radio on what would have been Johnnie’s 80th birthday, Tiggy said the special party last August was the last time her husband addressed his adoring audience as he signed off with a Bette Midler classic.

Recalling the star’s touching act of kindness for his pals, she said: “Johnnie decided he wanted to do a final kitchen disco. He used to tend to at the end of supper parties. He either went to bed very early, or he decided he was going to start playing music and everyone would get dancing and you never knew which way it was going to go.

” Anyway, this time he said he specifically wanted a kitchen disco, and I kept saying: ‘ Are you sure, Johnnie? ‘ ‘ Yes, I am’. ‘ Are you sure? ‘ He was. “

Speaking on the Boom Radio tribute show, which will be broadcast at 8pm tonight, Tiggy recalled how she” moved all the furniture, hung up fairy lights, and a bunch of friends came over”, explaining:” So our friends duly danced to all his songs until 11 o’clock when he decided he’d had enough”.

Revealing her husband’s final song choice was a tearjerker by Bette Middler, she said:” I truly expected him to end on a big banger, but being the old-fashioned guy he was, for him parties should end with a slow dance. And what a choice.

“The final song he played for all of us was this, Bette Midler singing The Rose”.

The veteran radio DJ presented his final Sounds Of The 70s show on BBC Radio 2 in October and hosted his last episode of The Rock Show after needing to retire because of ill health.

Johnnie had announced in early October his retirement plans after 58 years on the radio. He had been previously diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).

His death was announced on air by his friend and colleague, BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris, who took over presenting Sounds of the 70s in November.

Tributes poured in for the star following the announcement as he devoted wife, Tiggy, said: “I couldn’t be more proud of Johnnie – how he kept broadcasting almost to the end and with what dignity and grace he coped with his debilitating lung disease.

” He remained his charming, humorous self to the end, what a strong amazing man. It has been a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. “

Sophie Turner and daughters to return to UK after brutal custody battle with Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas ‘ divorce led to a bitter fight over whether daughters Willa and Delphine would live in the US or the UK, and the girls are reportedly set to return home with their mum after months of legal battles

Sophie Turner has made her desire for her kids to grow up in the UK very clear after her divorce from Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner is reportedly moving back to the UK with her daughters after an intense custody battle. The actress split from Joe Jonas in September 2023, and the duo engaged in a long legal process as they fought over their kids.

Game of Thrones star Sophie, 29, married Joe, 35, in 2019, and the couple welcomed two daughters: Willa, four, and Delphine, two. The divorce was finalised in September 2024, after many claims about what ended their marriage and where their kids would stay.

Sophie previously alleged that Joe was withholding Willa and Delphine’s passports, and wouldn’t let them fly from the US to see her in the UK.

The star levelled “child abduction” claims against Joe, reportedly dropping them last January when they reached a rough custody agreement.

Joe and Sophie have kept the terms of their divorce and full custody agreement private, but the Daily Mail reports that Willa and Delphine will be heading back to their mother’s homeland.

The outlet claims that sources from her family have revealed that she’s looking into schools for the young girls. Representatives for Sophie declined to comment on the matter.

Sophie has made her love for England clear, saying that back when she lived with Joe: “Every city we ended up in, the first thing I’d do was find a British shop and stock up on a month’s worth of chocolate”.

The X-Men star also touched on the deeper issues and political worries in the US that she wouldn’t want her daughters growing up around. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she shared: “”The gun violence, Roe v Wade being overturned … everything just kind of piled on. I’m so happy to be back.

“It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England. I just never really feel like myself when I’m not in London, with my friends and family”.

She added of her desire to move back home after so long away: “I was away for so long – six years – and it was when my friends were getting engaged, and when I got pregnant.

” I went for dinner with someone the other day, and she said, ‘ I never got to touch your belly. ‘ We didn’t have those key experiences with each other. “

Alongside carrying on her acting career with TV hits such as ITV ’s Joan, Sophie has also moved on with her love life. The Brit is now dating blue-blooded Peregrine Pearson, who’s next in line for the title of 4th Viscount Cowdray of Sussex and whose family has a jaw-dropping reported fortune of over £270 million.

She was first spotted kissing Pearson in public in October2023, and soon made things Instagram official with a snap of him joining her on a group skiing trip.

Lionel Messi scores in MLS return as Inter Miami edge Philadelphia Union

Lionel Messi scored his second goal of the season less than two minutes after he entered the game as a second-half substitute, and Inter Miami held on for a 2-1 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Union.

The 37-year-old star had missed Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers in South America during the recent international window after picking up an adductor strain in Miami’s most recent Major League Soccer (MLS) game, a 2-1 win at Atlanta on March 16.

Finnish winger Robert Taylor had put Miami ahead in the 23rd minute of Saturday’s game, slotting home a low pass from Benjamin Cremaschi after Jordi Alba had broken down the left flank.

Messi was brought on by coach Javier Mascherano in the 55th minute and he was immediately on target. Messi’s former Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez picked him out on the right and he jinked to make space and fired a low, right-foot effort into the far corner.

Philadelphia pulled a goal back in the 80th minute when Quinn Sullivan whipped in a cross from the right and Hungarian midfielder Daniel Gazdag brought the ball down before firing home a crisp shot.

Unbeaten Miami sits on top of the Eastern Conference with four wins from their opening five games of the season.

Inter face a busy spell with a trip to Los Angeles to play LAFC in a CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal, first leg on Wednesday. They have a home game against Toronto the following Sunday with the return against LAFC three days later.

Mascherano said it had been a cautious move to start with Messi on the bench.

“We didn’t want to risk him from the start because we thought he might be at risk playing the whole game, but we did want him to get some minutes”, said the Argentine coach.

“The plan is that he can recover and travel to Los Angeles. He played today because he was fine. Maybe he wasn’t ready for the full 90 minutes but it was good for him to play 45 minutes. If nothing unusual happens the plan is for him to travel”, he added.
