Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria reveals painful impact of ‘fake’ accent accusations

According to Heidi Baldwin, claims that she fabricated a Spanish accent have caused her to feel “hurt.”

The 41-year-old businesswoman opened up on her family’s new reality show ‘ The Baldwins’, where she reflected on the 2020 scandal surrounding her Spanish heritage, admitting the ordeal caused her sadness. Hilaria emphasized her love for both Spanish and English in a heartfelt way.

She said: “I love English, I also love Spanish, and when I mix the two it doesn’t make me inauthentic, and when I mix the two, that makes me normal”. She confessed that the accusations had taken a toll: “I’d be lying if I said]the controversy] didn’t make me sad and it didn’t hurt and it didn’t put me in dark places”.

However, she gained strength from her loved ones and their understanding of a multicultural life: “But it was my family, my friends, my community who have belonged in different places, and realized that we are a mix of all these different things and that’s going to have an impact on how we sound, and we will have an impact on how we speak, and we will choose to speak in our mannerisms.”

His wife was charged with fabricating her accent.

Hilaria emphasised the normality and humanity of such experiences: “That’s normal. That’s called being human”. Hilaria emphasizes her children’s ability to speak Spanish and credit her upbringing and their current residence in Spain.

“My entire nuclear family now reside in Spain,” my family said. I want to impart my children’s ability to speak other languages. It’s very special to me to grow up in two different languages and speak them. Hilaria has previously addressed the controversy on social media, and this is not her first.

She addressed her followers on Instagram, saying: “I’ve seen chatter online questioning my identity and culture. This is something I take very seriously, and for those who are asking – I’ll reiterate my story, as I’ve done many times before”. She continued to state her background, saying, “I was born in Boston and spent my early years residing between Massachusetts and Spain. I chose to live in the USA because my parents and sibling live there.

Fans have noticed a change in her accent since watching her on television over the years. While on Good Morning America in 2012, she had a distinctive Spanish accent. A couple of years later, on the Today Show, she appeared to struggle with English while making gazpacho. Then, in 2020, fans noticed her accent was more Americanised.

Quentin Tarantino could be the man to rip-up the James Bond rule-book

To say Hollywood has been left shaken (and stirred) is an understatement.

What will be Britain’s most famous spy next, according to Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli’s dramatic renunciation of the 007 franchise to Amazon MGM. When news broke today, a producer claimed his jaw literally hit the floor. “To cede creative control is extraordinary, given how much they protected the brand”, they said.

“Nothing is off the cards”. There are also a lot of ferocious fans out there. “RIP James Bond. Amazon will destroy a great franchise, like Disney have destroyed Star Wars”, said one. What does the guard changing actually mean, though? A new series of spin-off shows that follow the Marvel superhero universe is a possibility. A potential M.P.M. breakout TV show or a M.P.M. series.

Directors could be freed from Broccoli and Wilson’s shackles as to Bond himself. Could Christopher Nolan or Quentin Tarantino join forces to remake the rule book and make Bond a smarter, cooler, and ultimately darker anti-hero?

Prior to now, Tarantino wanted to direct Casino Royale, it’s no secret. What about the frequently-debated first Black 007 or a female Bond? The same producer cautions against “changing can be good to freshen things up, but it can also sink a franchise.” “The stakes are very, very high”.

Price wins Premier League night three in Dublin

In the final of the Premier League Darts in Dublin, Gerwyn Price defeated Nathan Aspinall 6-3 to win the game three.

The 2021 world champion defeated world champion Luke Littler and world number one Luke Humphries to reach the final. The 2021 world champion held on for the entire evening in stunning form.

It was the Welshman’s first night win since the 11th event in 2023 – where he went on to finish runner-up in the season-ending play-offs.

In legs three and four, he broke with Aspinall, who had won his first championship, before regaining control in leg seven.

He held his throw before breaking again to seal a dominant victory, 4-3, and so did he.

He averaged 100.57 and took out 50% of his checkouts, before racing off stage and not conducting a post-match interview with Sky Sports.

Speaking after this quarter-final win, the 39-year-old had said: “I want to be a tough nut to crack for everyone, that is what I used to be. I was two or three years ago, and I may have slipped a little behind the radar, but I’m returning.

My mind is in a good place, and my game is in a great place.

After the world number 11 opened up about having ‘dartitis’, a mental block that players experience when they throw on the stage, the world number 11 promises a morale-boosting performance for Aspinall.

It came after he said he felt” absolutely shocking “and was” under the weather “before his quarter-final win over Rob Cross.

After being defeated by Price in the semi-finals with a 6-3 advantage, Humphries failed to reach the final for the first time this season.

He had a 2-0 lead before the Welshman’s superb finishing saw him squander six of his seven checkout attempts.

With a stunning 6-4 victory over Littler, Price’s pumped up performance had already beaten the world no. 2 overall.

This means Price has now defeated Littler in five of his matches.

Littler struggled to achieve his best, combining high scoring with low scores, which resulted in an average of less than 100.

As he made his way out of the stage, the 18-year-old was clearly angry with his performance and was seen throwing his darts to the floor.

Michael van Gerwen, a seven-time champion, made his third semi-final appearance in a row, but Aspinall broke his throw four times.

With Aspinall’s clinching run to the final, only Stephen Bunting, who is playing in the Premier League since 2015, has lost.

He posted on X after his 6-4 defeat by Humphries to say” still a few nerves “and it is” a marathon not a sprint”.

Katie Price reveals she’s cancelled surgery plans in surprise U-turn amid health fears

Katie Price has stated that she prefers to work out at the gym and get a bigger bum naturally instead of having surgery.

The 46-year-old had originally planned to do a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), but she recently made the decision to exercise instead.

Friends and family revealed they had been left worried about her recent weight loss, with some feared she might not be fit for another procedure, leading to the dramatic U-turn. The former glamour model recently underwent ear-pinning and a facelift in Turkey.

Speaking on The Katie Price Podcast this week, she shared: “I’m starting the gym next week. I’ve decided I’m not going to have filler or implants, I’m going to work my a*** off at the gym. Although it will likely take a year to get my bum where I want it, I’ll still take before and after pictures.

Last year, the surgery-loving TV personality and former glamour model expressed her desire for a “bubble butt”, adding it to her long list of cosmetic procedures. She previously revealed: “I’ve just had my consultation to get my bum as big as my lips. I’m getting it done in January, but this time they’ve got an ultrasound, which means it’ll be much safer. I’m going to have a bubble butt soon, so get used to the big lips. Wahey”!

BBLs typically involve transferring body fat to the buttocks from other body parts. Katie has chosen not to have surgery, but last month she had bum filler applied to her. At the time, the mother of five told fans: “I’m so obsessed that, since I’ve lost loads of weight, my a**e is now saggy. So no, I’ve got to have my bum filler done here. I can’t wait”.

Katie’s shrinking frame has sparked concern from fans (INSTAGRAM)
The mum of five insists her weight loss is due to cutting out certain foods
The five-year-old mother claims that cutting out certain foods is to blame for her weight loss (Instagram).

Since late last year, Katie has undergone a significant transformation. She claims that after losing weight from IVF treatments and being inactive due to a foot injury in 2020, she is more than just a victim of popular slimming injections like Ozempic.

The Mucky Mansion star emphasized that her weight loss was a result of her diligent diet and daily physical activity. She told The Sun: “I was eating the wrong things. I’ve changed my diet a lot and eaten better foods, so now I don’t fart. Pasta, pasta, and carbs, they just puffed up and made me fart.

The star, who is currently dating JJ Slater, spoke openly about her look. She also previously addressed the concerns on Rob Moore ‘ s podcast, Disruptors, and said that coming off of IVF was actually the reason behind her slimmed-down figure: “So people have said I’ve lost loads of weight. Now there’s a programme coming out in January, my IVF journey. Anyone you know who’s had IVF, you put on weight. I had three IVFs the past 15 months. They all failed”.

Price added that her weight was affected by her injuries, which “started when I broke my feet.” They said I’d never run again. So I couldn’t run, wasn’t exercising, couldn’t ride my horses, so basically, I was in a wheelchair for 10 months. They said I couldn’t walk again, this all happened around COVID time, so obviously you’re going to put on weight because you’re not moving about. Then I had to learn to walk again, but slowly, I still can’t run now, because I’ve got screws in my feet”.

However, her loved ones remain concerned. OK! was told by a source. Magazine: “Her friends and family are worried because she has lost a lot of weight very quickly, and she still wants more procedures. She’s considering having her ears corrected and getting more bum filler, but those who know her worry she won’t be able to have more operations because she’s not strong or healthy enough.

Man of Steel Lewis suffers injury in Hull KR win

Betfred Super League

Wakefield (2) 12

Tries: Johnstone, Pratt Goals: Jowitt 2

Hull KR (6) 14

Mikey Lewis lost to an ankle injury, but Hull KR prevailed over Wakefield Trinity, who was promoted to Man of Steel.

When Lewis’ lofted kick hit the crossbar before dropping for Tom Davies, who scored the 100th try of his career, the visitors took the lead in unexpected circumstances.

Before the break, Tom Johnstone dived over in the corner to level the score for the home side after Max Jowitt had already kicked a penalty to put the home side on the board.

Lewis, a half-back, rushed over to give Hull KR the lead before getting hurt as he sprinted downstream to avoid a tackler.

With the clock ticking, Jowitt was unable to land the kick that would have brought the game to golden point extra time when the impressive Oliver Pratt won in the corner.

The playmaker managed to play for a period of time after his ankle was completely wrapped up, but with just over 10 minutes left he eventually fell off the field.

Wakefield, who won impressively at Leeds in week one, competed well throughout in front of a sell-out crowd and will take positives from this defeat by last season’s beaten Grand Finalists.

The Robins won the game by a score of ten points over Castleford last week, but they once again struggled to play ball well with the ball in hand.

After the game, Lewis was seen using crutches, and he and his teammates will now have to wait to find out how serious his condition is.

Daryl Powell, the head coach for Wakefield, told BBC Radio Leeds:

“It was a tight game and I thought we were excellent. We were down by a few soldiers, and today we were a little sick. I believed it was a significant effort by us.

” We’ve lost a tight game and I think we can be proud. We’ve got a genuine team.

“They will know they were in a game because there was nothing in it.”

We have shown everyone that we are not tip-toeing our way into this competition for the past two weeks. This team has a lot more to offer, and I believe things will improve.

“I’m pretty happy tonight. I’m disappointed but I’m proud. We’re in a great place”.

Willie Peters, the head coach of Hull KR, told BBC Radio Humberside:

“We knew that this week would be difficult, just like last week.” That’s the beauty of this competition, if you are not on it you will get beaten.

I believed we had a strong start, which established the foundation for a long period of control, too.

Tom Davies had some brave carries and tough carries, according to my opinion.

Lewis’ injury: “Mikey may have gotten worse there than he did there.” We’ve got to wait and see after a scan”.

Wakefield: Jowitt, Walmsley, Pratt, Hall, Johnstone, Russell, Lino, McMeeken, Doyle, Hamlin-Uele, Croft, Storton, Pitts.

Interchanges: Vagana, Rourke, Smith, Faatili

Hull KR: Evalds, Davies, Broadbent, Gildart, Burgess, Lewis, Hiku, Sue, McIlorum, Waerea-Hargreaves, Martin, Batchelor, Minchella.

Interchanges: Litten, Hadley, Whitbread, Tanginoa
