I was doing a bit of new season shopping the other day when I spotted a Mango tote bag that made me do a double-take. I had to go take a look at it because it was giving a designer bag without the designer price tag.
Longchamp’s Le Pliage bags are pretty iconic, known for their boxy tote shape, recycled canvas base and brown leather fastening but at £120, it’s not one I can just drop and buy without thinking about it a little. So when I saw the £25 price tag on Mango’s tote, it did make me think twice about my potential splurge.
Mango’s shopper bag with double handle has everything I’d been looking for in a bag: roomy shopper style, practical nylon finish, contrast straps and a zip to keep all my essentials secure.

This bag is spacious enough to fit a large laptop(Image: Mango)
Available in two neutral colourways, one beige/brown version and one classic black, both of these colours will effortlessly fit into my current wardrobe and pair with pieces I already own.
And the best part is that the nylon fabric makes it ideal for unpredictable British weather when a downpour can be expected at any minute. With enough room to fit my laptop, water bottle and notepad, this handy shopper makes the perfect work bag. It’s also worth noting that this bag is 18 inches wide, easily spacious enough to fit larger laptops.
The only thing I would be wary of is that the straps are pretty thin, so I could see them breaking quite easily if the tote bag is overloaded with too much stuff.

Alternatively, if you’re looking for a roomy work bag in a lighter colourway for the summer months, I love Topshop’s ruched nylon tote, £32, which has plenty of room, and is in a spring-ready off-white shade.
Popular Strictly professional dancers Dianne Buswell and Vito Coppola talk about joining forces for a new tour, their close relationship and how the hit BBC show transformed their lives
Dianne has opened up about her future on the show that ”changed her life’ – and her special relationship with Vito(Image: Abi Wyles)
They’re both members of that exclusive band who have known the thrill of holding aloft the winning Strictly Glitterball Trophy: Italian pro Vito Coppola with Ellie Leach in 2023, and Australian star Dianne Buswell with comedian Chris McCausland last year. But it took them a couple of years to come up with what looks like a no-brainer as this summer – they will perform 40 shows together in new touring production Red Hot And Ready.
Opening in Shrewsbury on 11 June and ending in Eastbourne on 26 July, with rehearsals starting just two days later for the next series of Strictly, they talk exclusively to OK! about how the BBC show has changed their lives, what happened when Dianne changed her hair colour and the dish Vito would rustle up if he invited you to supper.

Vito says he and Dianne have become like ‘brother and sister’(Image: Abi Wyles)
The pair are on UK tour from June together with brand new show Red Hot and Ready(Image: Abi Wyles)
Hi, both! Can you tell us about your Red Hot And Ready show?
Dianne: There’ll be plenty of dancing, of course, and singing. But, more than that, you’ll get to meet Vito and me properly. There’s no time on Strictly for our full personalities to come across. I love comedy, Vito loves cooking, so prepare yourself for a feast, with lots of laughs thrown in.
Article continues below
Who else is in the show?
Dianne: Six other dancers, two vocalists and a percussionist. I’m not exaggerating when I say I find every one inspiring. The choreography is by Strictly’s Jason Gilkison, who is the god of the dance world.
Who decided to put you and Vito together?
Dianne: From the moment we met, Vito and I clicked. He’s Italian, as is my mum’s side of the family. He immediately reminded me of one of my cousins and my crazy uncle. That’s why I get on with him so well. I can be myself with him.
Vito, describe your relationship with Dianne…
Vito: We’re like brother and sister. When I met her the first time, it felt like I’d known her forever. She’s one of the funniest people I know. Two summers ago, I was in her home, baking. We started dancing round the kitchen and that’s when we came up with the idea of putting together a show. We decided we wanted it to be like ‘50 Shades of Dianne and Vito’.
Italian pro Vito says Ellie would ‘cry every day’ in training but eventually learned to believe in herself(Image: PA)
Has Strictly changed your lives?
Dianne: Oh, 100%. It’s through the show I met my life partner Joe [Sugg]. It put my name on the map and taught me so much about dance. Vito: I left home when I was young to dance competitively around the world. I didn’t feel I belonged anywhere until I reached the UK and joined Strictly. It felt as though I’d come home, I’d found my bubble. In my first year, 2022, my celebrity partner was Fleur East and she’s one of my favourite human beings. People think celebs learn from us – they do – but we pros also learn a lot from them.
Did you know that you had picked a winner with Ellie Leach?
Vito: My name for her was Lulu because her second name is Louise. To begin with, she didn’t believe in herself. She thought we would be eliminated on week one. Every week, right up to the final, she’d cry at least one day. But I always reassured her that I would get the best out of her. Once I’d won her trust, she slowly came to believe that she was capable. The week of the paso doble was a turning point. She’d become a strong, independent woman.
Lifting the Glitterball must have been a moment…
Vito: Winning is not everything but it’s very nice when it happens! I felt the same when I won Celebrity MasterChef. The way I approached that was by imagining I was cooking for my family: this producer was my auntie, this production assistant was my cousin, the judges were my parents and so on. As a result, I never felt alone cooking. I gave my winner’s medal to my grandfather – he was the only person I’d told that I’d entered the competition.
What’s the special meal you would cook for Dianne and Joe?
Vito: Seafood pasta and a rum baba sponge, both of which I cooked in the final of Celebrity MasterChef. Dianne, you joined Strictly in 2017 and recently celebrated your 36th birthday. Do you look ahead? Dianne: I take it as it comes. Even if I wasn’t dancing on it, I’d love to be on the judging panel or connected with the show in some way. It’s what brought me to the UK from Australia in the first place. Strictly is my family, it’s given me so much. Look at Karen [Hauer]. She’s 43, our longest-serving professional, and still going strong.
When you were told you’d be paired with blind comedian Chris McCausland, were you concerned?
Dianne: Not concerned, no. But I was curious because I’d never taught anyone who was even visually impaired. To be honest, I didn’t think we’d make it that far, never mind win.
Dianne had to ‘think outside the box’ when it came to dancing with blind comedian Chris(Image: BBC/Guy Levy)
How did you tackle the obvious obstacle of him not being able to see?
Dianne: By completely changing my teaching methods. Everything I’d ever learnt and taught was visual. I had to choreograph routines so he’d always know where I was. It meant thinking outside the box. Trust was extremely important. I’m not going to lie, it was a real challenge.
Were you whispering instructions in his ear?
Dianne: In the rehearsal rooms, yes. But then we realised he couldn’t hear what I was saying on the dance floor, the music was so loud. So, we developed a method where I’d press certain parts of his body to communicate what I wanted him to do. It was the hardest but most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.
Has it forged a lifelong friendship?
Dianne: Absolutely. We’ve created a weekly podcast, Winning Isn’t Everything. Chris couldn’t come on the Strictly live tour because he was committed to his stand-up tour. I went to one of his shows and he was brilliant. It was nice to see him in his natural habitat.
Will Joe be coming to see you on your new tour?
Dianne: Of course! And he’s a big fan of Vito’s who’s been over to our house on a number of occasions and cooked for us, too.
Your trademark is your flame-coloured hair. Is it true you were once a hairdresser?
Dianne: Oh, hairdressing has been a lifelong passion of mine. I started my apprenticeship aged 15 and went on to have my own salon in Australia. Dancing took over but, wherever I go, I take my scissors with me. Maybe I should suggest a haircut to Vito…
Has your hair always been dyed red?
Dianne: I’ve had so many different colours – blonde, blue black, jet black, brown, you name it – although red has been a staple for quite a while. I did change it to orange a few years back and got all these messages saying it wasn’t right and I should change it back to red immediately. People got quite angry at me!

Big Brother star Imogen Thomas opens up on how she’s changed since her time on the show, her mystery boyfriend and her third boob operation – and makes a shock confession

Welsh model Imogen Thomas won an army of fans on Big Brother in 2006 alongside her friend, the late Nikki Grahame, and there’s been no stopping the 42-year-old since.
Here, the winner of Miss Wales 2003 – who shares daughters Ariana, 12, and Siera, 10, with her ex Adam Horsley – opens up exclusively to new about life with her banker boyfriend, why they have no plans to live together right now and her shock plans for a third boob job…
Hi, Imogen! How are you?
I’m just busy buying flats – I have five in total now. I buy them and rent. I bought my first one when I came out of Big Brother 20 years ago.

Did you watch Celebrity Big Brother?
Article continues below
I didn’t, actually. I’ve been in Turkey and just got back – so I haven’t seen any of it. I took my kids on holiday and it was so nice to get away. The weather was amazing.
Do you have regrets about your own time on the show?
Never, because it’s what gave me the money to buy a place of my own at the very beginning. I loved it, and if they asked me to go on it now, I would. You’re not doing much on there, and I think I’ve changed so much since my series, so I’d love to. We’ll see – maybe one day.
How do you think you’d be different this time round?
I’ve grown up and I definitely speak my mind a lot more now. I say what I want. Personalities change over the years, and it was 20 years since I did the show. Crazy.
She says she’s more outspoken than she was in the house(Image: E4)
Are you still dating your mysterious banker?
Yes, we’re still together. We’ve been together two years now. It’s good because he’s busy and I’m busy, and I think that’s what makes the relationship work. I can’t deal with a needy man – I really don’t like needy men.
Do you have any plans to move in together?
No. I think we’re both enjoying our own space, and that’s fine. I think it’s important when you’re dating someone that you’ve still got your own life as well, although everyone is different. Some people really want to move in, move forward with things, but because I have my kids, I’m more laid-back. We see each other every other weekend. He lives in Mayfair and I’m in Wandsworth, and I’m always busy with the kids.
Have you introduced him to your girls yet?
Oh, yes! They have lunches together when he’s not majorly busy, especially with everything that’s going on with [Donald] Trump – he’s crazy busy right now.
Does he want kids?
I think he would like one. He definitely said he would like one, but he’s not in a rush. He’s pretty laid-back too – he’s a bit like me. We enjoy our life right now, and why not?
Imogen hasn’t ruled out having more children with her new man
Would you like to try for another one?
I just don’t know. I wouldn’t rule it out, but I’m not like, “Yes, we’ll have one!” I feel like I’m done with my two, and we’ve got a good thing going on. So I don’t know, we’ll see.
Have you frozen your eggs?
I’m not doing that – if it’s meant to happen, it will happen.
You’ve been very open about your surgery in the past – will you have anything else done soon?
Yes, I’m going to have a boob reduction, but I’m going to wait a while. I’m doing a lot of reformer Pilates, and when I do that I feel top heavy, and I’ve had a lot of lower back pain. They are quite big, so I would like to have a reduction. I’m hoping to go down to a size C cup, but my surgeon said, because I look curvaceous, it’s not going to look even so I’m going to think about it for a bit. This will be my third boob job to date.
Does it ever bother you how much you’ve spent on surgery?
I don’t pay for it! I do collaborations.
Imogen is also dealing with her mum’s Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis(Image: imogen_thomas/Instagram)
A lot of women are having their boobs reduced, including Jess Wright…
You have to remember, back in the day, it was very fashionable to have big boobs, and now it’s not. I think that’s the reason mainly. But also, we grow up, and we have kids, and suddenly you think, “I don’t know about that.” We’re still working on our bodies as we get older.
Would you let your girls go under the knife when they’re older?
No, I really don’t want them to. I’d do everything to avoid it, because I know they would regret it.
Your mum Janette was sadly diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2023. How is she doing?
She’s OK right now, but it’s very difficult. Her right side has gone now, so it’s dead. I go home a lot, now. I’m home once a month to Wales, for four days at a time. We’re going on holiday soon. I bid for a holiday at a MND charity event, so she and I could go to Italy in June, but now I’m dreading it because the circumstances and how she feels have changed. But we are trying to stay positive.

Jannik Sinner said it was an “amazing feeling” to be back on court after beating Argentina’s Mariano Navone at the Italian Open in the first match since his doping ban.
The 6-3 6-4 victory was the world number one’s 22nd in a row – a streak interrupted by the three-month suspension he agreed with the World Anti Doping Agency (Wada).
Sinner wrote ‘Che bello’ (How beautiful) on the camera lens at the end of the match, as chants of ‘Ole’ rang around the stadium.
The Italian said the reaction from the home crowd was the best he had ever experienced.
“It has been amazing to go again on court after such a long time, having a great support also in the last days,” Sinner said.
His parents were among 10,500 people who offered him a full throated welcome onto the Campo Centrale, but Sinner showed little emotion as he walked on hand in hand with a child mascot.
“From the first day I came here, it has been amazing. I was waiting for this moment quite a long time,” he added.
“The whole match, even when it seems quite comfortable, it’s a rollercoaster, no?
Getty Images
Huge crowds tried to catch a glimpse of Sinner when he practised on Court Five earlier in the day. A TV camera was rolling throughout, while children balanced on parents’ shoulders and others mounted a fire hydrant and a potted plant to get the best possible view.
“Jannik’s day” was the headline on Saturday’s edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport. “The wait is over. From 7pm Rome will embrace … the strongest Italian tennis player of all time,” the paper continued.
Sinner signed a lot of autographs this week as he practised with top-10 players like Taylor Fritz and Casper Ruud.
He has been greeted with great warmth and excitement – as the overwhelming majority of Italian tennis fans seem to feel a three-month suspension was harsh and are treating his return as a celebration.
The match was Sinner’s first since he successfully defended his Australian Open title in Melbourne in January.
Three weeks later he accepted Wada‘s offer of a three-month ban for two doping violations last year.
Sinner tested positive for clostebol and was originally cleared of any fault by an independent tribunal.
Even though Wada did not dispute the steroid had entered his system because his physio had been using a spray containing clostebol to treat a cut on his own finger, it initially felt a ban of between one and two years would be appropriate.
Getty Images
Rome reserved its best weather of the week for the 23-year-old’s return.
As Lazio played Juventus in the Olympic Stadium just a few hundred metres away, Sinner missed his very first serve, but quickly found his stride. He won the first set with a single break of serve and some clean, powerful ball striking.
But the second set was less straightforward as Sinner’s forehand proved increasingly unreliable. He recorded 16 unforced errors off that wing in the match, but by two breaks of serve to one, was still able to complete a straight-set win in one hour and 38 minutes.
His decision making was not as sharp as usual but Sinner had every reason to be delighted with his return.
“I was missing the feedback of official matches, which are the best feedbacks we players can get,” Sinner said.
“At least now I have a bigger picture of what I’m doing well and what I have to improve.
“The nerves and everything, it has to go again into my body. It was a great start from my point of view of this tournament and of the comeback.”
Sinner’s third-round match on Monday will be against the world number 93, Jesper de Jong – a lucky loser from qualifying.
Tattoos. Flags. Cakes. Kilts. Many nicknames – and 11 goals in a Serie A title challenge.
Scott McTominay’s impact at Napoli has been huge since his summer move from Manchester United, leading to him instantly becoming a fans’ favourite in the football-mad Italian city.
He has just been named Serie A player of the month – the first Scot to receive the award – after netting five goals in April.
“He’s a raider, not a builder,” says Naples journalist Vincenzo Credendino.
No wonder his former boss at Old Trafford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, recently told BBC Sport “how you can sell Scott is beyond me”.
How did the move come about?
Lancaster-born McTominay had been with United for over 20 years – first attending a soccer school at the club aged five – until his summer departure.
It was a mutual decision to leave, for a fee of £25.7m. McTominay wanted a change of scenery, and the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) meant the deal made sense to United.
He joined Napoli on the same day as Scotland team-mate Billy Gilmour moved from Brighton for £12m.
But the move nearly did not happen. Another midfielder Marco Brescianini was having a medical at Napoli and seemed set to join from Frosinone.
But suddenly the Italy international completed a loan move to Atalanta, with an obligation to buy, and Napoli signed McTominay instead.
Reports vary on how it all unfolded. Some say Brescianini opted for Atalanta, or Napoli pulled out once McTominay became available, while others say Frosinone tried to change the deal.
‘McTominay is perfect for Conte’ – how he succeeded at Napoli
@sancirosedin on Instagram
McTominay has scored 11 goals in 31 Serie A games for Napoli – netting another one in the Coppa Italia.
Five of those 11 league goals came in April, enough to see him win the player of the month award.
It also makes him the top-scoring midfielder in Serie A this season along with AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic.
By comparison, he only bagged 19 goals in 178 Premier League games for United.
The success comes from playing more of an attacking central midfield role in Conte’s team. In a lot of his time for United and Scotland, he played as a defensive midfielder.
“Conte changed his system to put him in the best conditions to play,” said Credendino.
“In the system of Conte he’s not a builder, he’s a raider – the best option while you have a number nine like Romelu Lukaku, who today plays – and builds – a lot for the team.”
McTominay is one of only two midfielders, along with Pulisic, to touch the ball more than 100 times in the opposition penalty area, before this weekend’s games. He is also near the top of duels won in Serie A.
Credendino added: “You can compare McTominay with the big midfielders of Conte’s history. In his first years at Juventus (2011-12 and 2012-13), Claudio Marchisio and Arturo Vidal scored nine and 10 goals respectively.
“It’s not a coincidence. McTominay is perfect for Conte as Conte is perfect for McTominay.”
With three games left, Napoli are three points above second-placed Inter Milan as they bid for a fourth title in their history.
Why do the fans love him?
vik_ink_tattoo_napoli on Instagram
Naples is a one-club city, with only a handful of pockets of real success in their history. They really idolise their heroes, most notably Diego Maradona.
McTerminator, MacGyver, apribottiglie (the bottle opener) and McFratm are some of the other nicknames McTominay has been called by fans this season.
He says McFratm – which roughly translates as McBro in Neapolitan slang – is his favourite, and a fan recently got that name and McTominay’s number eight as a tattoo on his leg.
There are McTominay birthday cakes and internet memes depicting him as the new Pope.
“I saw the passionate fans, I saw the coach, I saw the players and I saw an opportunity,” McTominay told BBC Scotland in December.
“I took it, I didn’t look back. It didn’t take me long to make the decision because I knew that was what I wanted and I’ll never have any regrets in my life. As soon as I put my mind to something I want to do it, that’s it. There’s no holding me back.
“I love this place, I love the fans, I love my team-mates.”
San Ciro’s restaurant in Edinburgh have a Scotland flag up with the words ‘Napoli. McTominay. Pizza. In that order’.
That says a lot for a pizza restaurant.
Brothers Ciro and Santo Sartore, who were born and raised in Scotland to Neapolitan parents, run the restaurant together.
About McTominay’s popularity, Ciro said: “In my opinion, it’s because of how well he has taken to Napoli.
“Napoli fans love when a player commits to the city, and him kissing the Napoli badge shows how much the love and appreciation means to him. Obviously, scoring a lot of goals helps too.”
A shrine emerged to McTominay in San Nicola a Nilo this week.
“Napoli fans could not be happier – he is the symbol of the attitude of this Napoli, with his intensity and sacrifice in every game,” added journalist Credendino.
“This is something the fans appreciate a lot, as they liked his kiss on the shirt in the match against Palermo in September and the fact he is learning Italian and even Neapolitan.”
And another way to make himself popular with Napoli and Italian fans? Praising their tomatoes.
McTominay told the Athletic recently: “Oh my goodness, the tomatoes. I never ate them at home, they’re just red water.
Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman has been married to film producer Kris Thykier for 24 years – but there is one thing that stops her getting intimate with him
Strictly’s own Claudia Winkleman has made a rather unusual admission regarding her bedroom antics with hubby Kris Thykier(Image: David Fisher/BAFTA/REX/Shutterstock)
Strictly’s own Claudia Winkleman has made a rather unusual admission regarding her bedroom antics with hubby Kris Thykier. The much-loved 53 year old telly star confesses there’s an intimacy no-go if Kris has been guzzling water.
Dishing the peculiar detail on the Off Menu podcast, headed by comedic duo Ed Gamble and James Acaster back in 2020, Claudia revealed her aversion to water is quite serious. “I don’t like or believe in water, I won’t have it,” she quipped. Apparently, even a glass of water approaching her at a table is enough to raise flags, as she says: “It’s a solid no from me.”

Claudia dived deeper into this phobia affecting her love life, remarking: “My husband drinks great amounts of water and I really like him but it’s problematic. He’s glugging. Don’t touch me. ‘Claud, take your bra off.’ I don’t think so – you should be ashamed of yourself.”
The mum-of-three gave us more context: “Imagine you’re on a date – I’ve been with the same man for 100 years. He’s sitting there and he’s like: ‘I don’t know what to have, what are you going to have? Maybe we should have the same thing.’ And someone comes round and says: ‘Would you like some water? And he goes: ‘Yeah, sure,'” reports OK!.
“And they give him a pint glass of water and he drinks the whole thing. Are you going to want to kiss this many anymore? No. A wet mouth with a big fleshy tongue that is covered in liquid.”

Claudia then shockingly revealed her peculiar aversion, stating it’s not just water that turns her off, but practically all fluids. “I want a dry shrivelled up little man, I want to sleep with Mr Burns, he doesn’t drink water, I want him at the table,” she explained.
“I just don’t like liquid, I don’t like wine, there’s all kinds of stuff. Is this too weird?”

Married for the past 24 years to movie producer Kris, Claudia tied the knot back in 2000. The pair share three kids: Jake, Matilda, and Arthur.
Claudia wows audiences presenting a series of TV shows – she co-hosts Strictly Come Dancing on the BBC, alongside her pal Tess Daly, and also presents The Piano and The Traitors. The line-up for the celebrity version of The Traitors has been revealed. Filming is underway for the hit BBC show – also hosted by Claudia Winkleman – and some very famous faces are set to enter the Scottish castle.
