Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall-approved accessory brand slashes 30% off luxe handbags

Luxury handbag brand Strathberry, loved by Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall, has launched its Boxing Day sale with up to 30% off cult favourite styles

Strathberry is a popular choice among the royals, with both Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall often seen using totes from the luxury brand. And the handbag brand has launched up to 30% off some of its most popular styles this Boxing Day, making it the perfect chance to snap one up for less.

Zara has often been spotted with Strathberry’s East/West bag, which she has in a burgundy faux croc design and was last seen with it at this year’s Cheltenham Festival.

The exact burgundy bag used by Zara is not in the sale, however, the dark green croc design is. Normally priced at £455, the Croc-Embossed Leather Bottle Green East/West Mini is now £342, more than £100 off.

The East/West handbag is one of Strathberry’s bestselling designs, and clearly has the royal seal of approval.

Handcrafted from calf leather and embossed with a croc finish, the deep forest green shade makes this bag perfect for winter, and the timeless silhouette means you can keep it in your wardrobe for years to come without worrying that it will go out of fashion.

Alongside Zara, Princess Kate has several Strathberry bags that she regularly sports, including the Mosaic bag and the Multrees Chain Wallet, which she used earlier this year at the Order of the Garter.

The cream colourway that Kate is a fan of is not included in the sale; however, a selection of other Mosaic handbags are. Our favourites include the Soft Croc-Embossed Leather Stone Grey, now £347 (down from £495), and the Mosaic Nano in Soft Croc-Embossed Leather Walnut, now £298 (down from £425).

The Mosaic bags are one of Strathberry’s cult-favourite styles, inspired by Scottish artists working with mosaics. We love the versatility of this design. Whether taking it to the office, out for dinner, or using it as an everyday bag, it’s a classic shape that easily slots into any wardrobe.

‘A dream’ – Redknapp’s The Jukebox Man wins King George

Media PA

The Jukebox Man, starring Harry Redknapp, won the King George VI Chase with a stunning victory at the last turn.

Banbridge and 9-4 joint-favourite Gaelic Warrior were in the photo-finishes in the Group One race at Kempton Park.

Before the former West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur manager could celebrate the victory, owner Redknapp was anxiously awaiting.

Ben Jones led the 7-1 shot back between his two rivals as the trio headed into the final jump together, with The Jukebox Man falling in third.

Redknapp, who was trembling as he spoke to ITV Racing moments after his winner was announced, was awarded £142,375.

He said, “Having a horse that good is a dream.” I’m a fan of the game a lot.

It’s “special, it’s so special, isn’t it?” I’m lucky, right? It occupies a position there.

“I adore racing, the game, the people involved, and having a winner on the big stage is fantastic.”

Jango Baie, who had won the matchup, was a length back before the final fence and was closing in on the lead trio.

I anticipated that the horse would finish fourth, according to Redknapp, 78.

At the conclusion, “everyone was cheering on me, and I didn’t realize I had won.”

Heartbreaking reason why Adam Peaty’s mum Caroline makes U-turn on gatecrashing wedding

Adam Peaty is thought to have banned his mother Caroline from his wedding – despite this, she was reported to still be planning an appearance, until one heartbreaking reason changed her mind

Adam Peaty’s mother has reportedly changed her mind about gatecrashing his wedding to Holly Ramsay. Caroline Peaty was uninvited to her son’s wedding amid a family feud but reports claimed she was planning an appearance anyway.

In November, the row between the Peaty family and the soon-to-be newlyweds boiled over as the Olympic swimmer uninvited multiple members of his family from his upcoming nuptials. Due to take place on 27 December in Bath Abbey, the only Peaty family member thought to be attending is Adam’s sister Bethany.

Reports later claimed that Caroline was planning to go to the wedding despite her invite being revoked. But reports have surfaced that after talking to her husband Mark, she is said to have changed her mind, realising it would be “too upsetting” to attend.

According to The Sun, Caroline had planned to show up at the Abbey but agreed not to after Mark told it would be “too upsetting to be there”. The paper quotes a family member who said: “She will not be there because it would be too sad and she don’t want to spoil his big day.”

Caroline, whose recent 60th birthday went publicly unacknowledged by her son, also shared that there is “nothing” her son could do that she “would not forgive”. Posting online, she directed her message at Adam: “I know it’s the end. But please, the message I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point.

“There’s nothing you’ve done that I would not forgive. I love you so much. I hope your marriage is a good one, I don’t wish any ill on you and I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage. The reason I’m speaking out is I want all this to end.”

Caroline and other Peaty family members were uninvited from the wedding amid an ongoing family feud. Trouble is thought to have started last year, when Caroline clashed with bride Holly Ramsay’s dad Gordon. It was claimed that Caroline was angry that some family members hadn’t been invited to the party, which was being filmed for the celebrity chef’s docuseries.

The brewing feud exploded into the public eye after the mother of the groom, Caroline, was left out of Holly Ramsay’s glamorous hen party at Soho Farmhouse, prompting Adam’s aunt, Louise Williams, to publicly criticise Holly and Adam on social media for the “hurt” inflicted.

Things worsened after Adam’s stag do, when the swimmer allegedly received “increasingly abusive and threatening” text messages. Adam was met by police officers on the runway at Manchester Airport, apparently due to concerns for his safety. His brother, James Peaty, was later arrested.

While Caroline has chosen not to head to Bath, the Ramsays are already on their way there. The family were spotted heading to the city ahead of the big day on Boxing Day.

Man City players ‘incredibly disciplined’ – Guardiola

Pep Guardiola claims that his team will have maintained their discipline over the Christmas break to maintain the standards set by Manchester City.

Guardiola stated last week that his players would be evaluated before returning to training after Christmas to make sure they are fit enough to play Saturday (12:30 GMT) at Nottingham Forest.

Guardiola said on Friday that it is “really good” because I make four or five kilograms more from the food and beverages I consume.

Since ten years ago, the players have practiced incredibly strict behavior.

The injuries we had last season were a little more challenging, but they always behaved unbelievably.

“Every player I’ve had in the last ten years, and that is not a different one.” Everyone in the club knows what they are required to do, and we have a standard.

Before their 3-0 victory against West Ham on December 20, the Spaniard claimed his players had met the required standards when they were weighed.

Erling Haaland, a striker, uploaded a photo of him on a scale that read “All good” on Thursday.

If City defeats Forest, then-leader Arsenal hosts Brighton later on Saturday (15:00) in the Premier League.

It’s what it is, even though I prefer to be ten points ahead of everyone else. Although things are going really well, Guardiola remarked.

“The FA Cup will begin soon, the Champions League will be in its early stages, the Premier League will be in its semi-finals,” said the official statement.

The City manager added that “everything can happen” as a result of the club’s ongoing negotiations to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo in January.

Because we have 25 players who are injured and out of the situation, Guardiola said, “When I started last season, I never could expect to go into the transfer window with four or five players.”

“It is possible, and everything is open.”
