Timothée Chalamet shares his passion for 1 particular region of the UK — it’s not London

Timothee Chalamet, a famous actor from Hollywood, admitted to having a “comfort” habit before going to bed and that he likes to live in the British countryside.

Timothée Chalamet has disclosed a soothing bedtime ritual he enjoys – and it centres entirely on the Cotswolds. During an interview with BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills this week, the Wonka and Dune star expressed his passion for the British countryside, particularly this picturesque region.

In a clip available on the official BBC Radio 2 TikTok account, he explained: “You drive through the British countryside, it’s amazing. The air is so fresh here. You know, I’ll go to sleep watching little house tours of the Cotswolds. That’s not even a joke man.

Watching house tours of the Cotswolds or short 4K walking videos is what I find to be comfortable. You walk around all kinds of cute little towns while it’s raining, and Sunday roasts are served there. Simply put, it sounds fantastic.

Scott responded, as Timothée’s face lit up with a broad grin: “You love that don’t you? Look at his little face!”.

The pair then discussed the distinctly British place names found across the UK, with the radio host recommending the Hollywood actor visit Chipping Norton, a market town close to where David and Victoria Beckham have settled, reports Gloucestershire Live.

Timothée joked that he could easily call Britain home, saying, “That’s where I’ll be… ” We’re getting you back for the 1700s, or 1776, if you call me a real estate colonialist.

He wouldn’t be the first celeb to call the Cotswolds home, though.

The area already boasts a glittering array of famous residents, including David and Victoria Beckham, Elizabeth Hurley, Kate Moss, Simon Cowell, and Princess Beatrice.

As GloucestershireLive reported earlier this year, international stars like Ellen DeGeneres and her husband, Portia de Rossi, have been drawn to its allure.

Savills Estate Agents in Banbury, the sales director at Nicholas Rudge, provided some insight into why this picturesque area has become a hotspot for famous people.

In a Hello! interview He continued, “The Cotswolds has become incredibly fashionable because money has poured out of London.” Because it is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area is secure, civilized, protected, and not overdeveloped.

“If you come from a Georgian or Victorian house in London but you grew up in the country, there’s this romantic image of pubs with fires and long walks with dogs, and that’s exactly what the Cotswolds offers.

Kate Moss can be bumped into in Thyme, and you can see everyone. I think a lot of people respect their ability to simply get on with their lives.

Matt Goss’ ‘simple’ Christmas plans as he reunites with dad after three years

In the 1980s, pop band Bros star Matt Goss and his twin brother Luke rose to fame, but it has been revealed that the two don’t see things well.

Matt Goss has opened up on how he is having a Christmas reunion with his dad after spending three years apart. The singer has said that his dad has been in hospital for the last nine months and the pair didn’t see each other for quite some time before that too.

However, they will be having a big reunion over the festive season as they’re set to have a pub lunch on Christmas day. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Matt said that he and his dad are “excited” to be spending the special day together.

He continued, “My father is coming in, haven’t seen him for three years, he’s been in hospital for nine months, and it’s one of those Christmases where he’s like “I’m so excited” and that we’re also looking forward to just having a simple pub lunch at Christmas. No washing up is required for us.

Although Matt and his father Alan haven’t always been romantically involved, they have since made strides in their relationship. Matt has stated in the past that Matt and his twin brother Luke were always concerned about their fame.

Hello! reported that Matt said: “Dad always worried about me when fame first struck. I was young then, but I need him just as much now and always will.

I knew I needed my dad right away when they said I could have someone with me on the studio floor. I trust his judgment and he gives me strength.

Matt and his brother Luke have a strained relationship despite now getting along with their father. Mattt discussed their ongoing conflict earlier this year.

The siblings found fame in the late eighties in the pop band Bros as they went on to sell 16 million records. Back in 2018 they were the subject of documentary After the Screaming Stops, which followed the brothers’ attempts to heal their relationship.

The band’s involvement in the tragedies that the brothers have experienced as a resulted in the program’s discussion. When the band was at the height of their fame, their sister Carolyn died in a collision at the age of 18. Additionally, their mother passed away in front of Matt when her stomach sprained.

According to reports, the brothers are still having trouble speaking to one another. Mattt stated in an interview with the Guardian last year that he didn’t want to “lied” about their relationship’s status.

He explained the causes of their disagreement, saying, “It’s a tough one. Out of respect for him, I don’t want to say too much. However, I won’t pretend that it’s kumbaya because it’s not.

Matt asserted his still-happy belief that the duo should continue to produce music together. We shouldn’t have gotten together, in my opinion to this day. He said, “We should have just rode out the storm.”

UN experts condemn US naval blockade of Venezuela as illegal aggression

Four UN human rights experts have called for the US Congress to intervene in the partial naval blockade of Venezuela, citing it as illegal armed aggression, and condemn it.

In a joint statement released on Wednesday, the UN experts said, “There is no right to impose unilateral sanctions through an armed blockade.”

As part of a naval blockade against Venezuelan vessels that it considers to be in the sanctions zone, the US has deployed a significant military force in the Caribbean and intercepted oil tankers.

According to the UN Charter, using military force against another country is prohibited.

According to the experts, “it is also expressly recognized as illegal armed aggression under the General Assembly’s 1974 Definition of Aggression” because of how seriously it is used of force. The human right to life and other rights are gravely endangered in Venezuela and the region because of the illegal use of force and threats to use additional force at sea and on land.

Venezuela, the country’s main resource, is accused of using oil, which is its main resource, to finance “narcoterrorism, human trafficking, murders, and kidnappings,” according to US President Donald Trump.

Caracas denies having a drug trafficking history. According to the statement, Washington wants to seize Venezuela’s largest oil reserves, which is currently the largest in the world, from Nicolas Maduro.

US forces have launched numerous airstrikes on ships that Washington claims were allegedly containing drugs since September. For those accusations, it has not yet provided proof. There have been more than 100 fatalities.

US Congress should act, right?

“These killings constitute human rights violations.” According to the experts, they need to be looked into and held accountable for their actions.

The US Congress should step in, they said, to end the blockade and prevent further attacks.

They demanded that nations take steps to stop the escalation of the blockade, stop illegal killings, and prosecute the perpetrators.

Man Utd’s Bruno Fernandes ‘impossible’ to replace, says Amorim

Bruno Fernandes, an injured captain for Manchester United, will not be able to take Bruno’s place, but manager Ruben Amorim says there is still room for improvement in the midfielder’s absence.

Before Friday’s home game against Newcastle United, Amorim said, “Many people need to step up,” adding, “It’s impossible to replace Bruno.”

With a soft-tissue injury and a forced halftime strike, Fernandes was forced to miss the game, leaving United without their creative fulcrum and set-piece organiser.

According to The Times, United are hopeful Fernandes will make a return for the January 17 game in Manchester. However, Amorim acknowledged the void it leaves behind and declined to disclose the extent of the injury.

“It’s more than just creation,” he said. He is the one directing the team on every set-piece, which is a good opportunity for everyone to take up their shoes and come to terms with the fact that we can’t rely on one person for everything. Sometimes Bruno is the creator and organizer.

This is significant for the team because we lost Bruno, Bryan [Mbeumo], and Amad [Diallo] in set pieces, but it also gives other players an opportunity to show leadership that they are needed.

Cameroon and Ivory Coast will not participate in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, while Mbeumo and Diallo will, respectively.

Man Utd is still unable to access Mainoo.

Nobody in the Premier League has given United more chances this season than Fernandes, and Amorim has confirmed that Kobbie Mainoo, a struggling youngster, will also miss the game.

We might need to experiment with different playing strategies. When given the chance, we need to make room for guys like Jack and others, “Amorim said. I think Jack Fletcher did a very good job.

I’m certain that any game will be won. Even with fewer players available at the moment, we have some issues, but I still think for the team.

“I trust my players, even though it is more challenging. We can win if we keep our game very focused.

Amorim praised the two 18-year-olds as they made their debuts against Villa.

Amorim praised the behavior they displayed during these weeks.

I don’t feel like they think I’m a little different because I play for Man United, I don’t think that.

The Newcastle game will also feature defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire with hamstrings, according to Amorim.
