Thomas Markle asks ‘will Meghan be at my funeral?’ as doctors share grim fear

Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father, had amputation surgery and lost his leg, so his son is currently “fighting for his life.” And now his family has made a fresh appeal to the duchess.

Meghan Markle’s troubled father opened up about his painful estrangement from his daughter just weeks before he found himself “fighting for his life” in hospital.

The 81-year-old reportedly underwent an intense three-hour operation on Wednesday to have his left foot and lower leg amputated after a blood clot cut off circulation, causing the limb to go black. He was rushed to intensive care in his new home country of the Phillipines after falling ill on Tuesday.

The former Hollywood lighting engineer is said to be facing another procedure to remove a blood clot in his left thigh. According to Mr Markle’s son Thomas Jr, doctors remain “extremely concerned” for his welfare. Meghan’s father remains in intensive care in a stable condition, according to reports.

Thomas found himself at the centre of a worldwide media scandal when he was caught staging paparazzi snaps of himself preparing for his daughter Meghan’s wedding in exchange for payment, and ever since then, the pair have been estranged. Thomas has never met Prince Harry or his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

Since Thomas’ illness, it has been claimed that neither Meghan nor Harry have communicated with him. Meghan made an entrefeu with her estranged father in a heated conversation with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. She confessed, “I grieve a lot,” before adding, “I mean, I’ve lost my father.”

In recent years, Thomas has experienced ill health, including two heart-ending events that occurred on Meghan’s wedding and a fatal stroke that required speech therapy. The pensioner was found “trapped” in his apartment on the 19th floor of a tower block in Cebu, Philippines, in October as a “terrifying” earthquake erupted. After having lived in Mexico for ten years, he relocated to the country in January to get a new start and to get away from Meghan’s “constant pain.”

Do you think Meghan will attend my funeral if we pass away tonight, he asked Caroline Graham of the Daily Mail in his apartment as the building “violently” swayed. Then he said, “My son-in-law is fifth in the throne, so why should I get a better funeral?”

Samantha, Thomas’ other daughter, claimed that her father was stranded in his £500-a-month apartment after the disaster struck. She is also estranged from Meghan. He later, in strange circumstances, declared he was “fine” and cautioned people against worrying.

When he was caught posing in paparazzi photos of himself preparing for her wedding in exchange for money, Meghan’s father became the subject of a worldwide media controversy. After the fallout, he declared he wouldn’t be attending and that he would instead appear “stupid and hammy.”

Meanwhile, The Palace announced that Thomas had a heart attack, implying that this was Thomas’s absence. Thomas has repeatedly pleaded with his daughter to reconcile and said he is “desperate” for Meghan to forgive him over the years.

Norris just edges Verstappen in Abu Dhabi practice

Lando Norris and Max Verstappen, who are chasing the title, were at the top of the times during the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix practice.

Verstappen’s Red Bull was beaten by Norris’ McLaren by a mere 0. 008 seconds, followed by Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes, and Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes.

Before the final race of the season, Norris leads Verstappen by 12 points, and if he finishes on the podium, he will become the first world champion.

If Verstappen wins the race, Norris will be the champion.

If Piastri wants to be the champion, he must overcome his 16-point deficit to become 16 points clear of Norris.

The first session of the Abu Dhabi race is infamously unrepresentative because it begins at twilight and begins with the sun setting as the sun sets and the day goes to dark.

Only Mercedes and Sauber had their race drivers and were allowed to drive the cars by many of the teams.

Turkey Orders Arrest Of 29 Footballers in Betting Scandal

As part of a comprehensive investigation into illegal betting on Turkish matches, Istanbul-based prosecutors on Friday ordered the arrest of 46 people, including 29 football players.

27 of the players detained are suspected of betting on matches that take place against their own teams, according to a statement from the public prosecutor’s office.

Metehan Baltaci, a former Turkish champion, was one of them, according to the statement.

He had been given a nine-month suspension earlier this month as a result of the betting scandal.

Six referees and the president of Eyupspor, one of Turkey’s top Super League clubs, were put in pre-trial detention on November 10 as a result of the investigation.

The other 26 players who were suspected of betting on their own teams were not identified by the prosecution, but Mert Hakan Yandas, who plays for Fenerbahce, a significant club in Istanbul, claimed they had made the wagers on someone else’s account.

According to the prosecutor’s office, 35 of the 46 people named in the arrest order have been apprehended so far.

According to the report, five people are known to be traveling right now.

According to the statement, two club presidents were among those who were “attempting to influence the outcome” of a game between their two third-division rivals in the 2023-2024 season.

According to Turkish media, neither team had even attempted to score a goal, which was where the investigation actually began, according to reports from newspapers in Turkey.

More than 1, 000 Turkish football players have been suspended by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), 25 of whom have been banned from the Super Lig, for a time frame of 45 days to 12 months.

Alassane Ndao, the Senegalese winger for Konyaspor, who received a 12-month suspension, was the only foreigner to participate.

The third and fourth divisions make up the majority of the workforce, or more than 900 of them.

Nearly 150 referees were suspended by the TFF in October for betting on matches, and they have since been fired.

Huge reality TV star lifts lid on joining OnlyFans – ‘It was a no-brainer’’

A reality TV favorite makes a comeback appearance on our screens as they reveal their plans to join the adult-only platform OnlyFans.

Frankie Sims opens up about her life as an Onlyfans creator in a new series offering a behind the scenes look into the lives of the UK’s most popular creators.

She appears in an episode of OFTV’s weekly streaming service In Real Life, which premieres on Friday December 5.

In it Frankie, 30 – sister to fellow reality stars Demi, 29, and Chloe, 44, opens up about life post-TOWIE, being a Netflix star and her new skin clinic in a high-octane episode where she jumps in a stunt car and takes part in a police-style chase.

The show, which has previously featured Kerry Katona, Megan Barton Hanson and Marnie Simpson, sees the UK’s most popular OnlyFans creators share eye-opening insights into their real lives.

Casey Boonstra leads the creators on an action-packed adventure before an interview that explores their lives hidden behind the scenes in each episode of the series, which airs until December 19 on OFTV.

Frankie’s episode, which can be viewed here, sees her and Casey go head-to-head in a high-speed showdown on a professional drift racing circuit.

Between the adrenaline and laughter, Frankie opens up about life after TOWIE, from filming her OFTV show House of Sims, which became a huge Netflix hit, to opening her new London-based skin clinic.

Frankie describes her move to OnlyFans as “a no-brainer for me” and claims, “It’s a great way to connect with my fans directly.” She continues, “Everyone has freedom; you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, and just be yourself.”

The continued success of In Real Life is a testament to the imagination and charisma of our OnlyFans creators, according to Keily Blair, CEO of OnlyFans. “Through OFTV, we’re giving creators opportunities to expand their fan base and bring fans of reality TV an incredible mix of compelling, award-winning content.”

Frankie left TOWIE three years ago for a new life in sun-kissed LA with sisters Chloe and Demi and brother Charlie, but now she’s back in Essex after filming their fly-on-the-wall show, House of Sims.

Frankie and Demi returned to the UK last year after falling out with Chloe, after Frankie branded her a ‘bully’ following a bitter row and Chloe slammed her sisters as ‘evil users’.

In response to the tragic conflict, Frankie said, “We’ve all built this family unit, we’ve all built this name “The Sims Sisters” together, and we all received this opportunity together as a whole, and the show wouldn’t work without any of us.”

Nobody seems to have used anyone because it requires all five of us to work. It’s definitely not accurate in my opinion, so I hope it was a heat of the moment.
