  • After three weeks of emotional ups and downs, not to mention several Bushtucker trials and challenges, the winner of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! was finally named on Sunday, December 7. The popular ITV reality series was celebrating its 25th anniversary with a dozen celebrities taking part in Australia.
  • Following a public vote, it was finally revealed that the new King of the Jungle was YouTuber Angry Ginge. Also popular on the platform TikTok, the 24-year-old social media personality’s real name is Morgan Burtwistle from Salford.
  • In the final, he beat out competition from Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson and former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, who came second and third respectively. He also won over friend and fellow Mancunian, Aitch, with the rapper coming in fourth.
  • Angry Ginge takes over the title of I’m A Celeb’s King of the Jungle from most recent winner, McFly’s Danny Jones. Danny was on hand to present Angry Ginge with his floral crown and wooden sceptre during ITV’s live final.
  • Ginge’s immense following online is credited to be just one of the reasons he was named favourite to win throughout the series. As of December 2025, he has amassed over 1.4 million followers on Twitch and over 900,000 subscribers on YouTube, with a further 2.5 million followers on TikTok.
  • The final campmate standing does not get a cash prize for winning the competition itself, as a pre-arranged appearance fee is paid. This amount can range from tens of thousands to over a million pounds, depending on their level of fame.
  • All contestants receive a fee, provided they remain in the jungle for a minimum of 72 hours, regardless of their final position in the public vote. While the amounts are not officially confirmed, Shona is rumoured to be pocketing a tidy sum of around £95,000 for her stint on the show, while Tom’s pay packet is estimated to fall between £60,000 and £80,000. Angry Ginge is reportedly earning a cool £100,000 for his appearance.

Troubled Liverpool Host Barnsley In FA Cup Third Round (FULL FIXTURES)

Troubled Liverpool were handed an FA Cup third round tie fraught with the potential for embarrassment after being pitted against League One side Barnsley in Monday’s draw.

Arne Slot’s side have endured a dismal season featuring a calamitous defence of their Premier League title and star forward Mohamed Salah’s incendiary claims that his relationship with the Reds boss has broken down.

Liverpool, who have already been knocked out of the League Cup, are languishing in ninth place in the Premier League, making the FA Cup a more likely route to domestic silverware this term.

Regardless of his Liverpool future — which is now up in the air after his stunning outburst — Salah will not be available for third-tier Barnsley’s visit to Anfield in January.

Salah, who lashed out after being left on the bench for three successive matches, will be at the African Cup of Nations with Egypt.

The draw produced four all-Premier League ties, with Aston Villa heading to Tottenham, Everton facing Sunderland, Newcastle taking on Bournemouth, and Brighton travelling to Manchester United.

FA Cup holders Crystal Palace will travel to sixth-tier Macclesfield.

Macclesfield, one of four non-league clubs remaining at the time the draw was made, sit 14th in National League North.

Shoppers have compared the retailer’s new handbags to a pricier designer label

Home Bargains shoppers are comparing a new £6 handbag to the designer Longchamp’s style. The luxury French brand has long been a go-to choice for shoppers seeking elegant leather accessories, and Longchamp’s Le Pliage bags are among the most popular styles. Easily recognised thanks to its distinctive design, Longchamp says style is popular with fashion fans worldwide.

Describing the bag on its website, Longchamp claims: “Iconic and world famous, Le Pliage draws its creative genius from origami. Instantly recognisable thanks to its flap and handles crafted from Russian leather, its ears and press stud, Le Pliage is one of Longchamp’s emblematic lines. While some shoppers may prefer the luxury version, not everyone is willing to pay the luxury price tag. Longchamp’s Le Pliage Original L Tote bag is sold for £125, while the smaller Le Pliage Original Pouch with handle is sold for £85.

For shoppers who would love a similar look at a more affordable price, Home Bargains could have just the solution. The retailer is selling a £6 accessory that fans have compared to Longchamp’s bags.

As seen in a social media post shared by TikTok user @Magsfinds, Home Bargains is selling two new ‘lookalike’ bags for customers to choose from. Available in black or red, the foldable tote bags feature a leather-look strap and handle that arguably closely resemble those of designer bags.

Fashion fan @Magsfinds compared the two brands in her post. Her caption said: “@Longchamp [alternative] at Home Bargains, only £5.99.” In another video, Instagram user @Chloscamerar0ll_ spotted two similar bags at Home Bargains, offered in a smaller size, and drew the same comparison.

She captioned her video: “Longchamp [alternatives] at Home Bargains,” before telling viewers: “Don’t walk, run for these.” Viewers were just as excited. One impressed fan commented: “Love thisss.” A second viewer wrote: “Adorbs.”

A shopper asked: “Do you know how much these were please?” and the creator replied: “£6.” Someone else commented: “Wow, super cheap, £6?!” and the creator said: “I know!! Such an amazing price, these are a need.”

Israel attacked Syria more than 600 times over the past year

It has been one year since a lightning offensive by allied rebel groups led to the fall of Damascus, ending the al-Assad dynasty’s 54-year reign.

Yet, as the regime collapsed, Israel seized on the instability by significantly escalating its military campaign in Syria, targeting much of its neighbour’s military infrastructure, including major airports, air defence systems, fighter jets, and other strategic facilities.

Over the past year, Israel has launched more than 600 air, drone or artillery attacks across Syria, averaging nearly two attacks a day, according to a tally by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data (ACLED).

The map below shows the ACLED-recorded Israeli attacks between December 8, 2024 and November 28, 2025.

The bulk of the Israeli attacks have been concentrated in the southern Syrian governorates of Quneitra, Deraa, and Damascus, which account for nearly 80 percent of all recorded Israeli attacks.

  • Quneitra, adjacent to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, was attacked at least 232 times.
  • Deraa was the second most targeted governorate, with 167 recorded attacks focusing on former regime military sites and suspected arms convoys.
  • Damascus governorate, which hosts key military highways and logistics hubs, was attacked at least 77 times. Damascus city, the capital, was attacked at least 20 times.

Why is Israel attacking Syria?

While Israel’s air attacks have escalated this past year, it has been attacking Syria for years, justifying its actions by claiming to eliminate Iranian military installations.

Since the fall of the al-Assad government, Israel claims it is trying to prevent weapons from landing in the hands of “extremists” – a term it has applied to a rotating list of actors, most recently including Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the primary Syrian opposition group that led the operation to overthrow al-Assad.

Just four days after the fall of al-Assad, Israel announced it had achieved total air superiority by destroying more than 80 percent of Syria’s air defence systems, in order to prevent the new Syrian state from posing any military threat.

Since taking power following the overthrow of al-Assad, President Ahmed al-Sharaa has consistently stated that his government seeks no conflict with Israel and will not permit Syria to be used by foreign actors to launch attacks.

Israel grabs more Syrian land

In the days following the fall of al-Assad, Israeli troops crossed into the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, which Israel has occupied since 1967, violating the 1974 UN-brokered ceasefire agreement with Syria.

The Israeli military has established several military outposts, including at Jabal al-Sheikh, in nearby villages, and within other areas of the United Nations-monitored demilitarised zone, where it has carried out frequent air raids and ground incursions.

Israel’s invasion of Syrian land has drawn widespread international criticism. The UN, along with several Arab nations, condemned Israel’s actions as breaches of international law and violations of Syria’s sovereignty.

Despite these condemnations, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in February that Israeli forces would remain in the area indefinitely to “protect Israeli citizens” and “prevent hostile entities from gaining a foothold” near the border.

To visualise the scale, the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights spans 1,200sq km (463sq miles), an area roughly the size of New York City or Greater Manchester. The UN buffer zone covers another 235sq km (91sq miles), comparable to the size of the city of Baltimore. Additionally, Israel has seized an estimated 420sq km (162sq miles) of Syrian land beyond the buffer zone, a territory roughly the size of Denver.

The Wicked star revealed she decided to get the Best Day Ever rapper on her track The Way because of his advice. She added: “That’s also part of why I was so eager to ask him to be a part of it. Not only because he was perfect for the song, but I also felt like I had him to thank for finding my sound.”

After splitting with Mac, Ariana started dating then SNL comic Pete Davidson – who she was with when she heard the tragic news about her ex-partner.

Ariana last spoke publicly of Mac in 2020, telling Apple Music: “I think that nothing mattered more to him than music ever. She said: “And he was the kind of person who woke up and rolled into the studio, tumbled out of bed, into the studio next door. Nothing was more important. Talk about losing track of time and forgetting to eat, remind yourself to take care of yourself and be a person.

“He was a person who gave literally every single second of his thought and time and life to his music.”

Ariana also pointed to the “many incredible and different bodies of work” he left behind.

She added: “It has to be, it’s just such a beautiful gift I think that he kind of touched the world with, and I think the thing he’d want most is for us to just appreciate it and not forget about it.”

Timothee’s accessory was a mischievous nod to his role in the film, which sees him play champion table tennis player Marty Mauser.

On the contrary, they couldn’t have looked more loved-up as they held hands posing for photographers, Timothee at one point wrapping his arm around his girlfriend.

Later in the evening, Kylie was seen at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, alongside friend Anastasia ‘Stassie’ Karanikolaou, but Timothee was not in attendance.

The last time the hot couple had been seen in public was enjoying a game between the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium, on October 8.

And though they’re not strangers to bold red carpet statements together, the couple have generally flown under the radar with their romance – and Kylie has not name-dropped Timothee in her family’s reality show, Hulu’s The Kardashians.

Although they have not shied away from being glimpsed together in public, they have kept their relationship off social media and she has refrained from mentioning his name on her family’s Hulu show, The Kardashians.

It’s believed one of the reasons behind their usual privacy is Timothee’s desire to be seen as a serious actor.

Kylie has previously attended high-profile awards shows with her other half, including the Oscars and the Golden Globes, but had previously let him walk the red carpet alone, before being seen inside the ceremony with him.

Kylie shares two children with Travis Scott and previous romances include Cody Simpson, Jaden Smith, Justin Bieber, Tyga and PartyNextDoor.

Hollywood heartthrob Timothee, meanwhile, has previously been linked to his The King leading lady Lily-Rose Depp, Extrapolations actress Eiza González and Madonna’s eldest child, Lourdes Leon.

Timothee’s latest film is already gardening rave reviews and having just received a Golden Globe nomination hours before the premiere, the star will no doubt be hoping for an Oscar’s nod with it, too.
