Luke Littler had some choice words for pal Angry Ginge after the I’m A Celeb star failed to support him at a darts show. The darts star was competing in the World Darts Championship opener to start off his title defence, but his mate was no where to be seen.
Last year, Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was cheering Luke on from the sidelines. But as Luke took on Darius Labanauskas at Alexandra Palace on 11 December, the recently crowned King of the Jungle was not in attendance, despite having flown back from Australia the day before.
Two members of Ginge’s streaming group The Bov Boys, Tays and Chazza, were in attendance, and when Luke saw they had come without their redheaded friend, he took to his Instagram to fire back at Ginge. “Too big for the darts now I see. Won the jungle have we?” the 18-year-old wrote.

Ginge was crowned the winner of I’m A Celeb this year, beating out Celebs Go Dating’s Tom Read Wilson and EastEnders’ Shona McGarty. After watching his friend on the show, Luke made it clear that he would not do the show.
“No I actually wouldn’t. No,” he said, before addressing his prior words about the show. I’d said I would for the right money, but I’ve been watching it now, and no, I just couldn’t. No way.”
He added that he didn’t want to “eat that stuff” that they had to in camp, such as black chicken and ostrich. Luke also said that he felt the first two tasks this year were especially difficult and turned him off doing the show.
In particular, he was put off by the second task that Aitch had to do. The rapper had to crawl through a bunker infested with bugs and snakes to collect stars for the camp dinner.
Though Ginge was crowned the winner, he did say that he did not do the show in order to win it. “I didn’t do it to become King. I did for the experience,” the streamer said after leaving the jungle.
After his win, he said: ““I’ve always said that I am the master of the mind, but that was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. There were so many days that I wanted to throw in the towel. The toughest part was the spiders!”
Ginge was thought to have been paid £100,000 to do the show. This was not the most amount of money a contestant was said to have gotten, as Aitch was thought to have been paid double.

Ireland all-rounder Sophie MacMahon has announced her international retirement.
MacMahon, 28, made 45 appearances for her country and was one of seven who received Ireland’s first full-time playing contracts for female players in 2019.
She made her debut that same year against England, with her final appearance coming against Zimbabwe in July.
MacMahon will also step away from domestic representative cricket in the Evoke Super Series, but will continue playing club cricket for Leinster.
“It is a tough decision to decide to retire but I feel like the time is right for me. I have given so much of my life to cricket and representing my country in the sport I love will be something I’ll always treasure,” said the Dubliner.
“My dream as a child was to be a professional cricketer and I never believed that dream would come true, so I feel very fortunate.
MacMahon added: “I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had while playing for Ireland, in particular the places I’ve got to visit and the people I’ve met.
“The best part about my journey has been my team-mates along the way and I will miss being part of such an incredible squad – but I know I’ve made friends for life.”
Ireland captain Gaby Lewis said MacMahon has been a “crucial” part of the Ireland squad for the past eight years.
“She’s been with this group through a major transitional period and has played a big role in shaping the team we are today,” Lewis said.
Gloucester have confirmed that Wales international Max Llewellyn will be out until the “latter part” of the season with a knee injury, while fellow centre Will Joseph is also facing a long spell out.
Llewellyn went off in the 16th minute of the 34-14 win against Castres with a knee injury while Joseph followed midway through the second half.
The injury puts Llewellyn’s participation in the Six Nations – which begins on 7 February with Wales away to England – in doubt.
Speaking to BBC Radio Gloucestershire before both players had been for scans, director of rugby George Skivington said: “I don’t think either look exactly positive.”
“[It was] fairly innocuous for Max but a decent enough bang, we just hope it’s on the lesser side of it than too serious.
“But I think both of those are going to be a potentially decent enough rehab period.”
Llewellyn played in three of Wales’ four internationals last month but now joins captain Jac Morgan on the sidelines ahead of the Six Nations in eight weeks.
The 26-year-old missed two matches earlier in the campaign for Gloucester but Skivington said this was a new injury.
Versatile Joseph has played in all six of Gloucester’s Prem fixtures since signing this summer and started on the wing for their latest European match.
“[He] got his ankle caught between a couple of bodies. He’s non-weight bearing at the moment. The fact he’s on crutches probably isn’t a great sign,” Skivington added.
Gloucester are back in European action on Saturday with a trip to Munster before returning to the Prem on 19 December – away at Leicester – followed by a home fixture with Saracens on 27 December.
