Next year, Amanda Anisimova and six-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz will compete against each other at Queen’s.
Alcaraz, the second-ranked Spaniard, has won two of the previous three tournaments.
Meanwhile, world number four Anisimova made history playing grass tennis for the first time since 1973 when she made her debut at Queen’s.
Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek, both of whom lost to Alcaraz and American Anisimova, both lost to each other in the Wimbledon singles final this year.
The men’s tournament will take place from June 13 to June 21, while the women’s tournament will take place from June 6 through June 14.
Alcaraz, the reigning French Open and US Open champion, said, “Queen’s is a very special tournament for me and one I look forward to every year.”
I couldn’t have asked for a better week, and it was incredible to win the title again in front of the incredible crowds in London.
It will be difficult to come back as the defending champion in front of these elite players, but I’m eager to go out there and fight for the title once more.
In the men’s final, Alcaraz defeated Jiri Lehecka in three sets, which was watched by a whopping 1,715,000 viewers on the BBC.

Becks’ tax evasion nightmare
The infamous “tax evasion” scandal, which rocked him and other celebrities in 2007 when they invested in a film company that was raised by HMRC as a tax evasion scheme, may have hindered his knighthood dream in the past.
More than 1, 000 people who had invested in the Ingenious scheme also lost out in a legal fight ten years later, including Beckham and Wayne Rooney, in an effort to overturn a £700m tax bill. Ingenious contributed to the creation of films like Avatar and was also eligible for tax breaks that would support the UK film industry.
HMRC claimed Ingenious sought tax relief from its films after claiming it would provide tax haven to those who made investments in their schemes. 1,400 people were left with significant bills as a result of the tax tribunal’s decision to recoup the avoided tax from 2016 on top of its 2016 decision.

Victoria’s special gift to David prior to becoming a knight
Apparently, proud wife Victoria gave her main man a unique present in advance of his lavish celebrations.
Posh, a fashion icon, is said to have designed the outfit for the father of four, and he is said to be “extremely happy” with the result.
Victoria’s first garment for her husband is a tuxedo.
A couple’s friend once said, “David teases Victoria by never wearing any clothes.” So, Victoria made the decision to schedule David’s big day at Windsor in the spring when they learned that the day would come to an end in Windsor.
She knew it would take time, but Victoria knew the timing of the investiture would be a long shot because she had never done anything similar before.

Victoria’s response to David following the knighthood
Victoria Beckham, the ex-Spice Girls singer, has expressed her “could not be prouder” of her husband David Beckham’s knighthood.
Lady Beckham wrote, “You’ve always been my knight in shining armor, but now it’s official,” in a post posted on Instagram on Saturday. Dear David Beckham, !
“What a honor, I’m not more proud of you,” I said. Your commitment to the things that matter most, including your family, your job, your passions, and most importantly, your country, has never faltered.
You have touched so many lives with kindness and humility over the years, which speaks volumes about the character of the man you are and continues to inspire us every day.

Why did Beck lose his chance to become a knight?
After several contentious emails were leaked years prior, Manchester United legend David Beckham reportedly lost out on a chance to receive the knighthood.
Without a flurry of contentious emails allegedly sent from the star to his long-standing PR Simon Oliveira, the Inter Miami co-owner would have had his sir’ moniker far earlier.
According to reports, the star was given the all-clear to be knighted in the 2022 New Year’s Honours List. However, it wasn’t due to the emails that were sent in 2017.

Victoria in changing names, but kids are missing out.
The name of David will change as well. A new title will also be given to his wife Victoria.
Lady Beckham replaces the former Spice Girl, who already holds an OBE of her own.
However, Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator and former editor of The International Who’s Who, claims that their children won’t be affected.
Richard cautions against this: “A knighthood is not hereditary, so his children will not gain any direct benefit from it, but they will or should be proud of him nonetheless.”

As part of a change to ITV’s daytime schedule, Lorraine Kelly’s self-titled show will be cut from an hour to 30 minutes and air on a “seasonal basis” starting in 2026.

Lorraine Kelly has opened up about the upcoming shake-up to her long-running ITV programme. From 2026, her self-titled show will be shortened from an hour to 30 minutes and will air on a 30-week “seasonal basis”, as part of a wider overhaul of ITV’s daytime schedule.
Loose Women will also see a major reduction, airing for just 30 episodes a year and saying goodbye to its live studio audience. Additionally, a few shows, including Lorraine, will also be reportedly making the move from ITV Studios to The H Club Studio – a former private members’ club in London.
Lorraine, 65, has fronted her morning show since 2010, following years of presenting on the likes of Good Morning Britain, GMTV and Daybreak. Reflecting on the upcoming changes to ITV’s broadcasting, she told Woman Magazine: “It’s a different world we live in, isn’t it?
Because I believe in reality, I was aware of the need for adjustments and reductions. Television must cut its own slack in every department because there are now so many more outlets. It’s not what it once was.
Lorraine is optimistic and ready for the future, despite the restructuring. Who knows what will happen in six months, as I keep saying to everyone? They might want to expand, but they might not. Who is aware?
We just let it go and see what happens because I love my job and I love working with these incredible people. Nothing can ever remain motionless.
Although her ITV show will be shorter, Lorraine won’t be spending less time on screen. “I’ve got my three-part travel series about Norway coming out on Channel 4 in the new year,” she revealed.
Making it was a real pleasure for me. It’s the right time because I’ve wanted to do travel programs for a long time and want to do more.
In recent years, Lorraine has embraced a brand-new chapter in her writing career. She confirmed that more writing projects are in the works as soon as her debut novel, The Island Swimmer, was released last year.
The presenter has embraced her new role as a grandmother despite her commitments to her work. Billie and her 31-year-old daughter Rosie and her fiance Steve welcomed her first child in August of last year.

Lorraine gushed, “Baby Billie is an angel and I’m so proud of Rosie and Steve,” as she announced the happy news on social media at the time. I’m thrilled to be Granny Smith and look forward to new adventures.
Fans have since been sharing updates about Billie’s progress with the devoted grandmother, much to her delight.
Later this year, Aryna Sabalenka will take on Nick Kyrgios in an exhibition match in the United Arab Emirates.
On December 28th, the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai will host Belarus’ Sabalenka, 27, and 30-year-old Australian Kyrgios, who are ranked 652nd in the world.
Sabalenka, the reigning US Open and Wimbledon champion, is a four-time Grand Slam champion.
Since returning from a serious wrist injury that required him to play for 18 months, Kyrgios, who reached a career-high 13th in 2016, has only played five games this year.
Since missing the Miami Open second round in March, he hasn’t played on the ATP Tour.
Three official matches, the most famous being Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King, have been dubbed the “Battle of the Sexes.”
Before King exacted revenge four months later, Riggs, an American veteran, beat Margaret Court in Australia.
Under hybrid rules, a 40-year-old Jimmy Connors defeated 35-year-old Martina Navratilova, a multiple Grand Slam champion, in 1992.
Billie Jean King deserves praise for her contributions to the women’s game, Sabalenka continued.
“I’m proud to be a part of this contemporary adaptation of the renowned “Battle of the Sexes” match and represent women’s tennis,” said I.
Kyrgios, who won the 2022 Wimbledon final, said he’ll be happy to face Sabalenka, who he shares an agent with.
You respond when the world number one challenges you, “as the saying goes. Aryna is a powerhouse and a true champion, he said, and I have a lot of respect for her.

Is women’s sport a bad sport or just bad entertainment? – analysis
Jonathan Jurejko
The tennis news correspondent for BBC Sport
Since the US Open in September rumor broke, tennis fans have divided into two camps.
In the era of social media content, some believe it to be harmless entertainment that will appeal to a younger, younger audience.
Others think it is a misguided initiative that was carried out by the Evolve agency, which the players both support, and presents an opportunity for women’s sport to belittled if Sabalenka is defeated by Kyrgios.
A significant part of the population thinks that the exhibition could unnecessarily foster sexism and misogyny because Kyrgios admitted to assaulting an ex-girlfriend in 2023 and later had to distance himself from controversial influencer Andrew Tate in 2024.
Sabalenka appears to be cautious about the impact the competition will have on women’s sports. She described the idea at the US Open as “cool idea” and laughed as she pledged to “kick Nick’s ass.”
However, it’s difficult to tell what she gains from the occasion, especially if she loses to a man who hasn’t been well for a while.
Kyrgios consistently demonstrates that he loves being in the spotlight, staying relevant despite his ongoing absence from the tour.
One of Victoria Mboko’s ascent’s defining characteristics is the ability to compartmentalise.
After winning her second WTA Tour title of the year, the 19-year-old Canadian rose from the bottom 300 to the top 20, underlining why she is regarded as one of the best female prospects.
She overturned a 4-1 third-set deficit against Alexandra Eala and won three of her five matches to win the Hong Kong Open.
“I’m a person who always has a vision.” Mboko told BBC Sport, “I believe what has already passed has.”
When Mboko stunned the tour by winning the Montreal title in August, it was a similar tale of reset and rise.
She won one of the most significant titles outside of the four majors against four Grand Slam winners, Sofia Kenin, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, and Naomi Osaka, at the age of 18.
In the semi-finals, she faced 2022 Wimbledon champion Rybakina three times from a set down and fought back three times.
It was obvious that Mboko had already decided to concentrate on the future after being mobbed by young fans at Flushing Meadows, according to a statement made by the broadcaster at the US Open.
That hasn’t always been the case.
A 6-0, 6-0 defeat to her older sister Gracia at a junior tournament was a long-lasting wound that her siblings still use to rib her.
Mboko’s life depends heavily on his family. She gave her father Cyprien a warm embrace as he lifted the trophy for the cameras as she won her second WTA title.
In 1999, Cyprien and his wife Godee Kitadi moved to North America after leaving their homes in the politically unstable Democratic Republic of Congo.
The couple’s four children were born in Canada, but they initially resided in the United States.
After watching television shows starring stars from the 1990s like Andre Agassi, Mboko’s father was obsessed. Despite her parents’ lack of tennis skills, she never played tennis.
Mboko, who is hoping to make her first trip to DR Congo soon, said, “A lot of their life revolved around tennis.”
“My dad always made sure he was watching my drills. He used to work night shifts to pick up me in the morning.
They have always encouraged me to pursue my passions.
Mboko emphasized how significant her father’s “emotional support” was during her breakout season.
Mboko said, “I’ve always been very appreciative that he can travel and accompany me at these tournaments.

Mboko’s season couldn’t have gone much better.
She won her first 20 matches in 2025 and won four ITF World Tennis Tour titles in a row by the natural talent of first-strike tennis.
Before Montreal’s seismic success, confidence grew, but Mboko struggled as a result of a persistent wrist injury.
She did not win until two and a half months later in Tokyo after losing her first match at her next four matches, including the US Open.
No panic occurred. Despite her soft-spoken and unassuming off-court demeanor, Mboko remained confident in changing her course.
She said, “I get that there is a little pressure on you to win again after a tournament.”
I prefer to remain completely at ease and do not have high expectations.
You can beat or can beat you on any given day because there are so many talented players.

On October 31st, a concert was held in Northwich, Cheshire. Not just her, though, has a bombshell made of claims that she was having sex with a famous actress during one of these shows.
Kerry Katona shocked fans at a London show by revealing that she once kissed pop superstar Robbie Williams. Speaking at the Clapham Grand, she was also asked who the most famous person she’d kissed is and said she locked lips with the Let Me Entertain You singer “when she was young”.
Kerry was having a conversation with an audience member last night when he inquired about her most famous kiss.
“Robbie Williams was revealed,” she said. She claimed that it was “when she was young” before he married Ayda Field, Robbie’s wife and mother of his children. Everyone was “gasping” at her confession.
Kerry, 45, is currently in a relationship with Paolo Margaglione, 33. She was criticised for their age gap but a source tol the Mirror that she “doesn’t care what people think”.
Kerry doesn’t care what other people think, he says. She has always had strong will and has always followed her heart. She won’t be offended by a few negative remarks made by jealous trolls, even though she may not. She has the right to choose whether or not to have a baby with Paolo and feels the right time. She will do so, come what may.
Jack’s representatives were contacted for comment.
