David Harbour gushes over co-star Winona Ryder following explosive Lily Allen split

After his marriage to pop singer Lily Allen ended, David Harbour has since revealed that he has a close relationship with Stranger Things co-star Winona Ryder.

David Harbour has opened up about his close friendship with Winona Ryder – following his explosive fall out with estranged wife, Lily Allen. The 50-year-old actor saw his marriage to 40-year-old Lily implode in recent weeks amid accusations of infidelity.

David has reportedly turned to 54-year-old Stranger Things co-star Winona – who has been in a relationship with fashion designer Scott Mackinlay Hahn, 55, since 2011 – for emotional support. The pair have played Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers on the hit Netflix supernatural drama since 2016.

After Lily let rip on the American actor with her new album West End Girl, David was dragged into the headlines last month. David is said to be looking for solace on the shoulder of his coworker after being accused of being unfaithful.

The actor discussed his friendship with Winona in a recent Esquire issue. He continued, “I think people who have done that in a way that makes me believe they did it and fall in love with them in a fake reality just have such awe of it.”

He continued about his Stranger Things co-star, saying, “She’s such a deeply emotional person that I could never be. I believe she feels things in a way that I could never feel.” My brain couldn’t develop that much empathy for her. She is simply an extraordinary creature.

A source told The Sun that David’s comments about Winona’s friendship were mutually beneficial. When they begin promoting the final episodes of their show, the source claimed, “She has his back, and she’ll be at his side next month.” She doesn’t use harsh words.

She’ll be there for David because it’s obvious that he’s getting a raw deal in all of this, just like she did during Johnny Depp’s scandal.

Lily lashes out at her husband in her album. Lily talks about her sleep issues in a song called Ruminating that she has written. She says, “I can’t stand seeing her naked.

Then she sings, “Why can’t you wait for me to return home?” This conversation is too large for a call. I’ve spent the night ruminating and running. Did you look into her eyes while giving her a kiss?

Have you enjoyed yourself? Will you not tell me that I’m still your number one now that it’s over, baby? Because you are my number one. And there are other tracks that make similar accusations.

David made a comment about his regret over his choices in a conversation with Esquire. He was asked by the magazine if there was anything in his life that he would change, and he responded, “It’s a difficult question, the question of regret, or something.” I would alter nothing or everything.

You either completely accept your path and come to terms with the fact that even the ups and downs and mistakes are journey-related, and that there is truth and development, wisdom, and deeper connection and empathy in everything.

“It kind of feels like a house of cards because you kind of have to change something all the time.” He added that if he were to make changes, “everything” would be changed and would just make my life happy and silly, but adding that this would mean he “wasn’t an artist anymore.”

Kerry Katona ‘upset’ over ‘selfish’ Katie Price as cracks show in friendship

The friendship between Kerry Katona and Katie Price is “terrible,” as friends worry that the pair will fall apart again following their tour, as Kerry is “upset” over Katie’s selfish behavior.

They appear to be the best of friends as they tour the nation with their outrageous stage show, An Evening With Katie Price And Kerry Katona, but pals are worried there may be trouble on the horizon for the pair.

After spending weeks traveling together, Katie and Katie are concerned that their friendship may start to show signs of cracks, especially given their past rifts and Katie’s habit of stirring up controversy during their performances. Katie, 47, shocked viewers last week when she made an appearance at the London stoppage of their tour to address the rape allegations that her ex-husband Kieran Hayler is facing. Hayler has vigorously refuted this claim.

She said she had a “real reason to be wary of things” when referring to “current news,” adding, “I can’t say any more on it, but I’m sure you know what I’m getting at.” The mother-of-five also shocked the audience when she named the TV personality who she claimed raped her at a Grimsby gig a few years ago. There are concerns that Katie’s bringing up such emotionally charged subjects in the already tense setting of a grueling tour could create a “pressure cooker” environment for the pair, despite the fact that Katie is being as open as ever.

They have a love-hate relationship, according to a source close to the news. Katie has a very, very close friendship with Kerry, but the relationship has historically been rocky due to toxic disagreements. The source continues, noting that Kerry, a mother-of-five, is very fond of Katie, but that her pal’s unpredictable nature can be painful.

“Katie can sometimes be selfish, and Kerry can sometimes take on too much.” Katie has been late for their theater performances, which has caused some grief for Kerry. She is always encouraging, but it can eventually make her miserable.

As the tour progresses, pals worry that the tension could become a ticking time bomb because they both have commitments, their kids, and a lot going on. It’s only natural for them to split up as a result of their time together, and Kelly can only take so much.

Katie and Kerry, 45, have a history of falling out then making up over the course of their 21-year friendship. The girls first grew close while in the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2004. Kerry was a bridesmaid at Katie’s wedding to Peter Andre the following year, but two years later their friendship hit a rocky patch when Katie branded Kerry a “druggie”.

She also asserted that Mark Croft, Kerry’s second husband, was a “bully.” Kerry later claimed Katie had apologized, which saved their friendship, despite admitting she was upset by her pal’s allegations. However, the agreement was not sustained. Katie reacted furiously in 2008 when Kerry publicly criticised her parenting abilities and refused to invite her to son Max’s baby shower.

After Kerry described Katie’s ex-husband Pete as the “ideal candidate” for her new boyfriend, things got even more tense between them two years later. In terms of their tense relationship, mutual friend and I’m A Celeb co-star Alex Best remarked, “It’s a strange relationship – they’re talking one minute and then they’re not. It’s a little toxic and turbulent.

Kerry and Katie had reconciled when they married in 2014, and Kerry asked to be Katie’s bridesmaid, only for the reality star to resign at the last minute. Due to having given birth to daughter Bunny weeks earlier, she chose to attend instead, which caused bride Kerry to have her nose out of joint.

In her 2022 autobiography, Whole Again: Love, Life and Me, she admitted, “I wasn’t best pleased.” I felt a little sluggish because I was “probably a bit of a bridezilla.”

The duo worked things out as usual, but Kerry once more slammed Katie for saying she had “crossed a line” with her plastic surgery following her facelift in 2019.

Kerry and Katie – whose 18-year-old daughters Princess and Heidi are also close – spent last Christmas together, but our source says that won’t be a regular occurrence. Kerry is now loved-up with new boyfriend Paolo Margaglione, while Katie has been fighting off rumours of a rift with her boyfriend of 18 months, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater.

Our source claims that Katie and Kerry have been spending money on each other and want to take some time off so Christmas is off the cards. The dust needs to settle and there is some room once the tour is over. They will eventually fall out, make up, and then make up again.

They continued, “Pals are concerned that their relationship will end again, but they are optimistic and believe their friendship is stronger than ever.” They simply want to forget about the past.

No one will jeopardize their friendship, Katie declared in a statement on social media last year, “Nobody will tarnish our friendship, we will always support each other, and we are there for each other if we really need help. We are there for each other.”

Strictly’s Ellie Goldstein makes ‘nervous’ admission as she shares ‘best thing’ about show

The first person with Down syndrome to ever compete in a BBC dance competition, Ellie Goldstein, revealed what makes her “nervous” about the wildly watched program.

Ellie Goldstein, the first contestant with Down syndrome to grace the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor, has opened up about her experience on the show. Despite admitting to feeling “nervous”, she also shared what she believes is the “best thing” about being part of the popular BBC dance contest.

In a recent interview with Bella magazine, Ellie and her dance partner, Vito Coppola, discussed their journey on the show. Ellie confessed: “The crowd being enthusiastic makes me nervous”, to which Vito responded: “But we say it’s OK to be nervous because that means that we care.”

Ellie also revealed her favourite part of the Strictly experience, saying: “The best thing about being on Strictly is the early starts and being with Vito the whole day.”

We just want to live life to the full, and make sure we leave with the biggest smiles, Vito continued. Ellie always picks the songs for the warm-up. She enjoys Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten.

Ellie, who was among the final 10 couples on the show on Saturday night (November 1), also mentioned that she enjoys Golden, a track from the 2025 film KPop Demon Hunters.

Ellie admitted to feeling “nervous” about the program ahead of the first live performance in September. However, Vito pointed out that a “ritual must be developed before any performance.”

Ellie told the Sun’s TV Magazine that Vito will calm her down if she begins to “feel sick,” possibly with a “piggyback.”

Then Vito revealed that they each have their “own personalised handshake.”

He continued, “We already perform our custom handshake ritual before every performance. And I always keep Ellie’s hand because I promised her safety when we were together. I’ve got you'”.

During week six of the series, which was the annual Halloween special, Ellie and Vito delivered the tango to Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra. In the routine, Ellie, a model who has worked for brands such as Nike, pulled her partner out of a hat.

They went on to score a total of 27 out of 40 points for their performance, placing them in a precarious position on the leaderboard, with fans sharing concerns that Ellie and Vito were in the so-called “death slot”.

Despite this, others have also praised Vito’s partnership with Ellie. One viewer commented, “The height difference between him and Ellie is something that isn’t mentioned enough.” #Strictly”.

“2 peas in a pod absolutely stunning,” a third user said. You resemble two peas in a pod, you say. Beautiful peas as well …. What year did you watch the fourth season of “@phoebeekay” live?

Tess along with her Strictly co-host Claudia Winkleman recently caused a huge media storm when they announced their departure from the BBC show.

Their announcement came shortly after Tess’ husband, Vernon Kay, revealed that he must check on his wife of 22 years for the sake of every episode of the ballroom dance show.

The BBC Radio 2 host said: “I rarely go out when Strictly’s on because I want to make sure everything’s alright.” Eight weeks ago. I have it on by the side of the stage when I’m working.

But sourced explained to the Mirror that her reason to quit the show was to spend more quality time with her family. The couple share two daughters together, Phoebe, 21 and Amber, 16.

According to a source, “Strictly is a real whirlwind – it is chaotic and they don’t spend much time together.” Vernon has understood and is aware of this.

Tess has been a member of Strictly for years, but it has been heartbreaking for her to not have the time she and her family want because it’s so difficult for them to balance work and life.

They are seeing her taking a break from work for a brief period of time as a chance for her and Vernon to rekindle their relationship, the insider continued. She can spend more time with her kids, enjoy more vacations, and have more time with them once Strictly has ended. It will have a very positive effect on their relationship as a couple.

Serve fires Sabalenka to crushing win over Paolini at WTA Finals

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Jasmine Paolini to claim the WTA Finals title, earning her the year-end world number one spot.

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Sabalenka, the reigning US Open champion, won 6-3, 6-1 to defeat the fatigued Italian.

Sabalenka won her 60th game of the year and her 12th against a top-10 opponent when she defeated world number eight Paolini.

Sabalenka, a Belarusian, has spent 63 weeks overall at the top of the world, including 55 consecutive weeks since October, 2013.

After Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek won the opening match, defending champion Coco Gauff takes on fellow American Jessica Pegula on Sunday in the Stefanie Graf Group second match.

Sabalenka has won the title five times in a row, but she hasn’t qualified for the year-end Finals. In 2022, she came in second behind Caroline Garcia.

Paolini, who is the only player competing in both singles and doubles, was absolutely fantastic against the 29-year-old.

Sabalenka produced 24 winners overpowering the agile Paolini and 11 aces in 66% of first-serve points.

Before Sabalenka started winning six games in a row to end the first set and take a 4-0 lead into the second, the pair traded breaks in the first set.

Paolini got on the board and let Sabalenka score, but Paolini didn’t really threaten until the next game when big first serves gave her the lead.

In a 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) victory over Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider, third seeds Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada and Erin Routliffe of New Zealand, won the doubles match.

Victoria Mboko, a 19-year-old Canadian, won the Hong Kong Open 7-5 6-7 (9-11) 6-2 to extend her remarkable year.

Strictly’s Amy Dowden says ‘life changed forever’ after horrifying cancer realisation

Amy Dowden has battled hell and back ever since she was 32 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, but she is now supporting a new breast check app that she hopes will “save lives.”

Amy Dowden’s life changed forever in May 2023 when, aged just 32, she was diagnosed with breast cancer – a discovery made only a day before flying to the Maldives for her honeymoon with husband Benjamin Jones.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional was left “traumatised and devastated” but chose to confront her fear head-on, documenting her treatment to raise awareness and encourage others to check themselves regularly. Her honesty and strength inspired millions, and she has since become one of the UK’s most recognisable advocates for early cancer detection.

After celebrating the all-clear in February 2024, Amy’s mission hasn’t slowed down. Determined to save more lives, she has now joined forces with fellow survivor Gemma Ainger to launch My Breast Friend –a brilliant, totally free app designed to make self-checks simple, stigma-free and routine.

Users can privately log any changes using the app’s gentle monthly reminders. According to its creators, “checking your boobs, chest, or pecs shouldn’t feel frightful or clinical.” They hope to bring about normalization of conversations about breast health.

Amy says she immediately wanted to get involved because she is first-hand experts on how crucial early detection can be. She explains, “I have a sense of the value of early detection from my own diagnosis.” It “can quite simply save lives,” he said.

My Breast Friend aims to make self-examinations as simple as brushing your teeth in the morning because one in seven women in the UK are expected to have breast cancer at some point in their lives and nearly half of them will admit to doing so.

Opening up about the shock of her own breast cancer diagnosis, Amy – who also has Crohn’s Disease – tells us: “I never, ever thought at 32 that I would be diagnosed with breast cancer. If I wasn’t checking myself, I wouldn’t be alive. The woman I’m working with behind the My Breast Friend app, Gemma – had she been checking her chest, her outcome could have been very different.”

Gemma, a marketing professional, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 42 after discovering a lump by accident in the shower.

She admitted she “rarely checked” herself without any symptoms or family history, and later pondered the possibility that regular self-examinations might have brought the illness to its apex sooner. Gemma, who was determined to change lives, used her experience to create My Breast Friend to aid in earlier detection of cancer.

Following Amy’s own traumatic diagnosis, the Strictly pro – who was partnered with Tom Skinner this year, who was sadly the first celebrity to leave the series – is on a mission to spread awareness.

“I want to do everything I can to raise awareness and spread the message to help others since I was diagnosed with breast cancer.” I’m so proud to now be able to negotiate my diagnosis.

“I’m finally feeling like myself once more. I’ve made it to Amy once more. I’ve regained my energy and hair, and I’m feeling so happy. However, you never forget the impact of having cancer and going through it throughout.

“My life has been completely transformed forever,” he said. However, I want to use the suffering I endured to help others and stop them from going through the same.”

The Strictly Come Dancing star admits that her life was turned completely upside down when she was diagnosed in May 2023, and the journey she went through has changed her forever.

I never anticipated that I would develop cancer. Unfortunately, breast cancer is not discriminatory, and sadly, more and more people are being diagnosed with it at such a young age.

Unfortunately, the cancer is more aggressive when it is younger. Therefore, it will essentially become the norm if people 18 and up check themselves out at the age of 18.

“When checking, there is nothing to worry about. You must first understand your body and your “normal,” so that when something doesn’t feel right, you can immediately check it.

Be kind to yourself, Amy says, offering nuggets of wisdom and advice to anyone who may be struggling with a cancer diagnosis right now. There are so many amazing healthcare professionals who can assist you, and there are so many different charities on which to rely.

Another crucial lesson is to never hold anything in. Because you can’t control your thoughts or feelings, you really need to talk to your loved ones about how you’re feeling.

She continues emotionally, “I can recall when one of the lovely nurses told me, “Amy, don’t hold it all in.” She actually encouraged me to cry and let it all out by reminding me that it was okay to feel what I was feeling.

“It was the best thing I could have done. When I cried, I released all these emotions that I was forcing down. I realised in those moments that I didn’t always have to be brave and that it was okay to break down and show some weakness.

You must pat yourself on the back for making it through, regardless of what you do next or where you go. Keep in mind all of your small victories. This too shall pass and Don’t get bitter, get better are two phrases that kept playing in my head throughout the entire experience. “

Amy acknowledges that sharing her cancer journey sometimes made her want to obliterate everyone and everything. But she persevered, realizing that speaking out might be able to save lives later on.

“There were times where I felt as though I just wanted to shut off from the world. I didn’t want to share updates or discuss what I was going through. But at the end of the day, if there’s one positive that would come from all of my oversharing was that hopefully even one person would be more inclined to check themselves. To me, it was just all about that. It was about saving lives.

“I had a lot of thought about mortality.” It’s frightful. When you’re in such a dark place, your mind wanders to the most bizarre places. I anticipated the worst after receiving my initial diagnosis and while I was awaiting confirmation of the plan of action. The worst possible scenario.

When you’re in these situations, you’re upset and emotional, and your mind wanders you there indescribably, causing the worst emotions inside of you. Despite everything, I’m still here.
