P. Louise CEO shares gutwrenching moment it felt like her ‘whole world fell apart’

In a TikTok carousel, Paige Louise Williams, who was raised on a council estate in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, revealed her thoughts on the highs and lows of 2025 to keep the story real with her fans.

Paige Louise Williams, founder of cosmetics company P. Louise, keeps it real with her fans, and she’s recently opened up in a TikTok carousel about the highs and lows of this year, sharing that she never thought she’d be in this position, but also admitting that she’s had some upsetting moments.

She claims she founded her beauty empire with “no money” from scratch, and she has never shied away from her humble beginnings. I’m forever grateful that I can call this my life despite all of the difficulties she encountered. Then, she revealed what her 2025 highs and lows were to fans.

The 32-year-old, who was raised on a council estate in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, acknowledged that there were times when she questioned whether or not she “wanted to continue with the brand” because she was becoming “torn apart” online for various reasons.

But she had the amazing opportunity to speak about her recent success with P. Louise with a “world-renowned brand” in Paris.

And she gave her documentary a private screening with the people closest to her.

However, she accidentally invested £300,000 to create Bad B**** Energy phone cases for fans, which “failed,” leaving her with the money she had invested.

She continued, however, that she is constantly working to “improve the experiences” that her customers have when they visit her stores in person to give them the most “magical time.”

Paige’s business received significant media attention, earned top-notch reviews, and even secured a store at Trafford Palazzo. It made it onto The Times’ list of the fastest-growing businesses.

However, Paige and her team were severely impacted by the shop’s “failed deadline.” She disclosed that the Trafford Centre store’s entire workforce had been “relocated to the Empire in Stockport.”

Despite this setback, she enjoyed a “summer full of memories that will last a lifetime” and managed to deck out the Empire for Christmas in just 24 hours, thanks to her team’s hard work.

She also “took over the cafe at the Empire” to perfect her menu, and she established her own lip oil station at the Empire where customers can personalize their lip oil packaging with charms.

However, some issues “deeply hit her,” such as customers who “question” her “integrity” over her Christmas pyjamas, hit her.

When the website incorrectly stated the pyjamas were 100% cotton, instead of the actual 95% viscose and 5% elastane, she acknowledged making an “honest mistake in the PJ description.”

Many fans questioned Paige’s integrity, which has “weighed heavily” on her.

Paige mentioned on a personal note that she had lost a lot of weight and felt great as a result. She did, however, acknowledge developing a number of “unhealthy habits” as a result of “working long hours.”

Now, she’s “preparing for Black Friday,” where she and the team will “hopefully put all of our learnings and failures into action from previous years”.

Her “first girls’ holiday” made it past the group chat, and she and her staff “broke the record and made £2 million on a live” on TikTok.

Yet when Pinkmas was scrapped, she revealed it felt like her “whole world fell apart”.

A P. Louise pantomime, ice skating, and much more were scheduled for the Trafford Centre for Pinkmas.

Tickets cost $60 during off-peak and $80 during peak times. However, it was voided as a result of “licensing issues.”

In response, Paige stated that “every ticket holder will receive the following as a thank you for your patience and understanding” and that all ticket holders would receive a full refund.

  • Your Pinkmas reservation will be refunded entirely.
  • A complimentary tour of the P. Louise Empire
  • The Empire’s Lip Oil Room is accessible.
  • The Christmas Experience is completely free of charge.
  • A £20 drink voucher is also included with each booking.

A P. Louise 12 Sleighs of Christmas Advent Calendar (worth £200) will be provided in the event of a cancellation of the Empire.

However, she gained 1 million TikTok followers, participated in a photo shoot that showed her how “confident” she is in her “own skin,” said that “younger Paige could only dream of this,” and pledged that “many more are coming” with her “first Bad B**** collab.

Football Star David Beckham Hails Knighthood As ‘Proudest Moment’

David Beckham, the former England international captain, received his knighthood from King Charles III at Windsor Castle on Tuesday, calling it his “proudest moment.”

The 50-year-old football player, who has represented England 115 times and some of the most prestigious clubs in the world, including Real Madrid and Manchester United, was awarded the knighthood for his contributions to sport and charity.

For a boy from the east end of London, according to Beckham, “it was quite a moment” to be “here at Windsor Castle, being honored by His Majesty the King, the most significant and regarded institution in the world.”

He told the PA news agency, “This is without a doubt my proudest moment.”

Victoria, Beckham’s wife, and other famous dresser, Victoria donned a grey suit made by her.

Along with his parents, Ted and Sandra, he was accompanied to the ceremony in Windsor, west of London.

Since the award was announced in June, Beckham has been known as “Sir David,” while Victoria, a former Spice Girls member, has been called “Lady Beckham.”

Beckham responded by asking if he had been able to speak with Charles during the ceremony by saying that Charles had been “quite impressed with my suit.”

He “inspires quite a few of my looks over the years, and he definitely inspired this look because he’s kind of the most elegantly dressed man I know.”

He continued, “I looked at old pictures of him wearing morning suits when he was quite young and I was like, OK, that’s what I want to wear,” he continued.

Beckham continued, “I’ve always been a huge fan of the monarchy,” and that receiving the award was particularly special for him.

To be given an honor like this, of a knight, is beyond anything I ever thought I would receive, he said. “I’ve been very obviously lucky in my career to have won what I’ve won and done what I’ve done.”

Beckham’s&nbsp knighthood is the product of years of tireless efforts to transcend football and become a global icon at the intersection of fashion, sport, and business.

After helping London host the 2012 Olympic Games, it was thought he might have been a knighthood winner.

Arsenal’s Gyokeres may have injured hamstring

Viktor Gyokeres, a defender at Arsenal, will go for additional tests this week despite speculation he has a hamstring injury.

The Sweden international scored the team’s opener against Burnley on Saturday, but the international was substituted at half-time in the Gunners’ 2-1 win at Burnley.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: “I am concerned because he hasn’t had many muscular issues and he needed to leave the pitch and he was feeling something,” before the Champions League game against Slavia Prague on Tuesday night.

That’s never a good sign, especially for a player who is extremely explosive, is always a good thing.

“So we are a little bit more thorough into this injury situation and will make an announcement as soon as we can.”

There is hope that Gyokeres’ decision to leave Turf Moor for half-time has sparked further problems, with the 27-year-old having a bad start to the season.

Before the majority of the squad departs for the international break, the Gunners face Sunderland on Saturday following the game against Slavia Prague.

The north London derby against Tottenham on November 23 marks Arsenal’s first game since the internationals.

Zimbabwe’s Williams sacked over ‘drug addiction’

The cricket association of Zimbabwe has announced that former world champion Sean Williams has left the sport after joining a rehab program to treat drug addiction.

Zimbabwe Cricket claimed the all-rounder had declared himself unfit for national selection and that it would not place him again.

Williams, 39, has taken more than 150 wickets for his country in each of the three game formats, totaling almost 9, 000 runs.

Before a World Cup Africa Qualifier match in Harare in September, he withdrawn from the T20 team, and during an internal investigation into the causes of his withdrawal, he “disclosed that he has been struggling with drug addiction and has voluntarily entered rehab,” according to Zimbabwe Cricket.

The governing body added that “ZC has determined that Williams will no longer be taken into consideration for national selection” after taking into account all options.

ZC stated that it expects all contracted players to uphold the highest standards for professionalism, discipline, and compliance with team rules and anti-doping laws.

A review of Williams’ record reveals a history of disciplinary problems and unavailability, which has had an impact on team preparation and performance.

While ZC applauds him for seeking rehabilitation, ZC’s suggestion that resuming team work in situations involving potential testing raises serious questions for professional and ethical standards.

His national contract expiring on December 31 was stated as “not practicable.”

ZC sincerely acknowledges and values his enormous contribution to Zimbabwean cricket over the past 20 years, the statement continued.

Williams has left a lasting legacy both on and off the field in some of the most significant moments in recent history.

O’Sullivan beaten by in-form Lisowski at International Championship

Ronnie O’Sullivan was knocked out of the International Championship in the third round as he fell to a 6-5 defeat by fellow Englishman Jack Lisowski.

Lisowski won his maiden ranking title at the Northern Ireland Open in October and established a 5-3 lead against O’Sullivan, with a highest break of 113.

O’Sullivan, who turns 50 next month, rallied to level the match at the South New City National Fitness Center in Nanjing, China.

However, Lisowski clinched the deciding 11th frame by potting a tricky final black, after both men squandered earlier match-winning chances, to close out a first win over the seven-time world champion.

Lisowski, 34, has now won nine successive matches on the World Snooker Tour and will face Barry Hawkins in the last 16.

Hawkins beat Welshman Jak Jones 6-3 while veteran John Higgins also progressed with a 6-3 win over Hossein Vafaei.

World champion Zhao Xintong of China survived a scare as he beat compatriot Lei Peifan 6-5, while Stephen Maguire claimed a 6-4 win over world number two Kyren Wilson.

Putin orders roadmap for Russian rare earths extraction by December

As the world’s interest in the metals rises as a result of their use in modern technologies and a desire to reduce reliance on the Chinese-dominated market, Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed his cabinet to create a roadmap for the extraction of rare earth minerals by December 1.

Putin also mandated that the cabinet implement measures to improve transport links between Russia and China and North Korea in a list of ministerial tasks released on the Kremlin website on Tuesday.

Rare earths, which are found in smartphones, electric vehicles, and weapons systems, are of crucial strategic importance in international trade.

A deal signed by US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in April will give the US access to fresh Ukrainian mineral deals and support US investments in Ukrainian reconstruction.

Russia claims to be interested in working with the US on rare earth projects.

Kirill Dmitriev, Putin’s investment envoy, claimed in March that some US companies had expressed interest in Russian projects involving rare-earth metals. However, the US and Russia’s chances of resolving their conflict in Ukraine have been stifled due to progress.

This year, China, the main producer of rare earths, retaliated against US tariffs by enforcing export restrictions on rare earths. Washington’s attention has been focused on developing its own supplies as a result of its almost total global control.

Putin’s order, which summarized the key takeaways from a Far Eastern Economic Forum he attended in Vladivostok in September, did not go into great detail about Russia’s rare earths plan.

Russia’s reserves of rare earth metals are estimated by the US Geological Survey at 3.8 million tonnes, but Moscow’s estimates are much higher.

As of January 2023, Russia had reserves of 28.7 million tonnes of rare earth metals, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Russia still accounts for only a small portion of the world’s stocks, despite this potential margin of error.

Putin also gave the government the directive to establish “multimodal transportation and logistics centers” along China’s and North Korea’s borders, among other things.

Putin said the locations should include a planned new bridge to North Korea and two already-existing railway bridges, which he said will be in place by 2026.
