Most Valuable Promotions has announced that Jake Paul’s exhibition fight with Gervonta Davis has been canceled.
The Netflix-streamed event was supposed to be the ring-and-a-pee fight scheduled for November 14 in Miami.
The court’s decision comes days after Davis’ ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit against him, alleging that he was causing emotional distress or that he had intentionally caused others to suffer.
MVP stated that the fight would “no longer be moving forward” following an investigation.

Paul responded to the announcement that the fight had been canceled on X by calling it “an absolute nightmare.”
Paul, the co-founder of MVP, expressed his regret to everyone involved.
According to the lawsuit complaint, Davis is accused of attacking former partner Courtney Rossel after previously making threats against her life at her place of employment on October 27.
Rossel claims that since the incidents, Davis has “physically assaulted and choked” her and that she has been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of at least four previous incidents.
Two months prior, a different ex-girlfriend dropped a domestic violence case against Davis.
After violating the terms of a 90-day house arrest sentence in relation to a criminal hit-and-run case in November 2020, Davis was detained in February and December of that year on domestic violence battery charges. He also served 44 days in prison in 2023.
Given that Paul, the current WBA 135-pound champion, previously squared off against Davis, who was a 200-pound cruiserweight champion, the fight had sparked controversy.
The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) opened its doors on Tuesday, just a few days after the official ceremony on Saturday, which was held two decades later and cost an estimated $1 billion.
The museum is 2 km (1, 2 miles) from the Giza pyramids and 8 km (5 miles) from Cairo, the capital. It is the largest archaeological site in the world for a single civilization.
More than 100, 000 ancient artefacts from the 30 dynasties of ancient Egypt will be housed in the complex, which is nearly 500 meters (5, 381, 900 ft).
The 3, 200-year-old, 11.36-metre (37ft) statue of King Ramses II, Tutankhamun’s entire collection of treasures, and Khufu, the pharaoh renowned for creating the Great Pyramid of Giza, a 4, 500-year-old boat, one of the oldest intact ships in the world, are just a few of the main attractions.

The Great Pyramid of Giza (built for Pharaoh Khufu), the Pyramid of Khafre (built for Pharaoh Khafre), and the Pyramid of Menkaure (built for Pharaoh Menkaure) are the museum’s “fourth pyramid” from the Giza Plateau, which contains three pyramids totaling about 4 500 years old.
The museum’s interior, which is shaped like a chamfered triangle and echoes the pyramids’ geometry, is accessible to visitors from inside. The pyramids of Khufu and Menkaure are centered on the museum’s north and south walls.
The museum’s main facade is made of frosted glass panels, while the design, by Irish firm Heneghan Peng, uses translucent alabaster stone and sand-colored concrete.
Construction on the complex was started in 1992, but it didn’t start until 2005, which was postponed by political unrest following the Arab Spring and COVID-19 pandemic. In some areas of the museum, things started getting a little slushy in 2024.

The Khufu Boat Museum, a conference center, a courtyard, a Nile Valley park, a conservation center, and the main building are all located in the museum complex.

Visitors are greeted by the 3, 200-year-old statue of King Ramses II, which is about 83 tons when they walk inside the museum.
Before moving to a new location close to the museum, the statue stood in Ramses Square in front of Cairo’s main train station from 1954 to 2006. The statue was transported on a specially designed 128-wheel vehicle, which covered 30 kilometers (19 miles) and necessitated temporary road closures, to facilitate the move.
The six-storey grand staircase, which features statues honoring deities, sarcophagi holding the deceased, columns showcasing ancient architectural artistry, and stelae adorned with significant texts, extends beyond the entrance.

The museum’s 12 main permanent exhibition spaces, which opened last year, are organized by both era (from prehistoric to Greco-Roman) and theme (including society, kingship, and belief).
The Tutankhamun Gallery
The Tutankhamun Gallery, a 7, 500 square foot (80, 000 square feet) space that houses more than 5, 000 artifacts from the tomb of Tutankhamun, the boy king who ascended to the throne at age nine and ruled during the Eighteenth Dynasty almost 3, 400 years ago, is one of the museum’s most prominent and largest exhibition spaces.
Tutankhamun is one of the most well-known pharaohs, largely because of the nearly intact tomb discovered in 1922 in the Valley of the Kings, on the west side of the Nile, opposite Luxor, during his brief reign, which ended with his unanticipated death at age 18 or 19
His golden mask, throne, sarcophagus, chariots, and jewelry, which were all presented to recreate the atmosphere of his royal burial chamber, are visible to visitors.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is the sixth-largest museum in the world in terms of display space, with 45, 000 square feet (484, 000 square feet) of exhibition space.

Jonathan Bailey has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive. He becomes the first ever openly gay man to be crowned the accolade and succeeds last year’s awardee John Krasinski.
The actor, 37, is seeing his year go from strength to strength after starring in Jurassic World Rebirth. He featured alongside Scarlett Johansson in the flick. And he is also set to hit the big screen in the Wicked sequel, Wicked: For Good.
He was also recognized by People as the Sexiest Man, to cap off an impressive calendar year. On Monday, Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show announced his accolade.

Jimmy unveiled the two upcoming cover designs for the issue during the presentation. Jonathan acknowledged that he is still “giggling” about his face being the cover and called the win “the honour of a lifetime.”

And he further explained how he responded to the news in the article of the publication. He said, “It’s a huge honor.”

The actor, who won praise for playing Prince Fiyero in Wicked in September, revealed in September that he has decided to put his acting career on hold while working on his new LGBTQ+ charity.
The actor, who also appears in films like Bridgerton and Fellow Travelers, announced that he is leaving Hollywood to concentrate on a cause he founded in 2024. The Shameless Fund aims to assist LGBTQ+ people all over the world in living “freely and authentically.”

In Kyler Murray’s absence, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys 27-17.

Although these two events may seem unrelated, Bayern is the only team in Europe with no defeat in the top five leagues. With only four goals conceded, they have a 100% start in the Bundesliga. Nine wins out of nine games have been won.
Looking back at the previous three seasons, one might say that the Bundesliga doesn’t pose a threat to Bayern, but when Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen were in opposition, to the point where they won the title in the final minutes of the 2022-23 season and lost it to Leverkusen a year later.
The reason Bayern’s coaching office appeared to have a sliding door for some time. The current manager, Vincent Kompany, extended his contract until 2029 two weeks ago, making him the first Bayern boss since Louis van Gaal did so in 2010.
Before Kompany’s arrival, the managerial position had been lacking in continuity and length. And the Belgian undoubtedly appeared to be a likely replacement for bringing back the emotion.
Bayern’s higher-ups and fans, who have the aspiration that their team belongs among the best in the world, were disappointed by their continued success winning championships under Julian Nagelsmann, Thomas Tuchel, and others.

Kimmich may have an explanation for why Bayern now appears even more fearsome than it did then because he is still with them.

Kane continues to be a powerful representative.

Regardless of success, Kane in particular embodies a form of humility.
