Morrissey cancels more concerts just weeks after shock death threat

After suffering from “extreme exhaustion,” music legend Morrissey was forced to cancel two concert performances just weeks after The Smiths’ frontman was threatened with death.

Morrissey has had to cancel two concert performances after suffering from ‘extreme exhaustion’. The music legend, 66, was scheduled to play at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on October 31 before taking to the stage at the Auditorio Telmex in Guadalajara but both dates have now been pulled.

In a statement posted to Instagram, concert promoter OSECA said: “We are informing the public in Mexico City and Guadalajara that, due to the artist’s extreme exhaustion, Morrissey’s concerts scheduled for October 31st at the Palacio de los Deportes and November 4th at the Auditorio Telmex have been cancelled.”

The promoter then reassured fans that they will be able to receive a full refund, as the statement continued: “If you made your purchase online, the refund will be automatically credited to the card you used to purchase your tickets, according to the processing times established by your bank.

You can request a refund starting November 7th at the same location where you made the purchase if it was made using Ticketmaster points or the box office.

The former Smiths frontman has also been forced to reschedule performances in recent years. The singer was scheduled to perform in Connecticut and Massachusetts in September, but he was forced to resign due to a “credible threat on his life” situation.

There was a real threat to Morrissey’s life in recent days, the statement read. Tonight’s Foxwoods engagement has been canceled out of a lot of caution for the safety of both the artist and the audience. Thank you for your understanding.

The singer’s official Facebook page published a follow-up statement that read, “The upcoming shows this weekend at Foxwoods and MGM Music Hall have been cancelled due to recent events and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of both the artist and the band.” At the time of purchase, all tickets will be refunded in its entirety. Thank you for your understanding.

Fans flooded the comment section with support and expressed their sadness over the cancellation. One wrote: “Sad the show is cancelled. Sad this is happening to Moz. Sad at the state of the world.”

I’m so happy I saw him last fall. It was a fantastic show. My man should be left alone. Who would want to cause such harm to Moz’s man? Another plus, “as gentle as they come” is “another.” Sorry to hear that. Glad I saw him at Radio City Hall on September 16, 25, and he gave a fantastic performance. Safety is crucial.

The singer’s arrest and charge of making threats toward her on the social media app Blue Sky came after a 26-year-old man from Ottawa was detained and charged with doing so.

Morrissey continued to perform at Ottawa’s CityFolk festival despite the threat. The accused man has posted bail and is currently being held under strict house rules in Washington, DC. Morrissey’s response to the cancellation was a precautionary measure, but it’s not clear whether it was one of additional threats.

Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin and girlfriend share cosy snap amid ‘curse’ comments

Nikita Kuzmin, a professional wrestler, and Lauren Jaine, his girlfriend, have a sweet snap.

Lauren Jaine and Nikita Kuzmin, the couple’s girlfriend, spent the evening making jack-o’-lanterns, and they certainly had a spooky Halloween.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional posted a collection of photographs showing himself posing alongside Lauren and their carved creations on Instagram.

As he cuddled up to Lauren, who beamed admirably at the camera, Nikita appeared content.

Who do you believe carved which pumpkin in your first experience? The images, which Nikita wrote beneath, quickly received a lot of responses.

The adorable photographs follow Lauren releasing a public message addressing remarks about a potential ‘curse’ involving the professional dancer and Amber Davies, reports Wales Online.

She pretended to be browsing social media while saying, “Me watching all the cute tiktoks of all the strictly couples,” in a TikTok clip.

She then expressed her shock at those who hoped the “cure” would occur. She urged viewers to show respect to their real-life partners and allow them to have a positive experience with the show.

Other people who raise the issue of “badges” include Lauren. Amber revealed that she speaks to Nikita’s girlfriend more frequently than he does.

“I adore Lauren so much, Nikita’s girlfriend.” She receives constant text messages. She told The Sun, “Every day, every day.”

“Lauren spends more time with me than her fella,” she said. She actually entered my dressing room the day before going to see Nikita. She belongs to me.

Unfortunately, Nikita and Amber were forced to compete against Lauren Oakley and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in the feared dance-off last week. The quartet, who were saved by all four judges, will perform the Viennese Waltz to “I See Red” by Everybody Loves an Outlaw this week.

Reflecting on their dance-off experience on It Takes Two, Amber confessed: “I just felt awful that it was us that had to be a part of them being knocked out.

“I wasn’t sad because we were in the dance off, I was sad because I love him so much, and I love Lauren Oakley. Them as a team were amazing, and it’s just the worst feeling in the world.”

Mrs Hinch candidly opens up on ‘abusive trolling’ as she addresses ‘lies’ about husband

Sophie Hinchcliffe, a cleaning influencer, has spoken out about the “abusive” online bullying she is facing and criticized the lies that people have allegedly said about her husband.

Sophie Hinchcliffe has opened up about the ‘abusive’ trolling she faces online. The influencer, who is known to her fans as Mrs Hinch, has made a career out of her passion for cleaning and has regularly offered up her tips on This Morning and via a series of bestselling books.

But the star, 35, who boasts five million followers on Instagram, has admitted that the backlash she receives from people online can be so ‘frustrating,’ even though she appreciates that that sort of thing often does come with the job.

She said: “I will never understand how cleaning your home can cause such offence. Why are people so angry? There’s a lot worse going on out there. It’s hard for me to understand why [trolls] do it and it’s frustrating, because you want to say: ‘That’s lies!’ But I just shut it off. I’m not saying it’s OK, because it’s wrong to accept what can feel abusive, but it comes with the job.’

Sophie, who has Ronnie, five, Lennie, three, and nine-month-old Vinnie with her husband, also spoke out against the notion that her husband is “not a hard worker” and claimed nothing could be further from the truth. She has been married to sales manager Jamie Hinchcliffe since 2018.

She continued, “People accuse him of not working hard, but they’ve got it so wrong,” she continued in an interview with The Sun. James is “she called her” rock” and said he is “so grateful” that he spends time with his kids every day.

The social media star is also known for her friendship with presenter Stacey Solomon, but they haven’t been seen on screen together since she appeared with the former X Factor contestant on an episode of Sort Your Life Out more than two years ago.

An insider recently discussed the careers of the two women and noted that Stacey made it possible for her to establish her own lifestyle brands after making a friend with Mrs. Hinch. Stacey is referred to as a very business-savvy woman, according to the source. She works hard, but she always succeeds in her goals.

For Sophie, it hasn’t been the easiest of years as she previously told of how she was “in the thick of it” as she secured a doctor’s appointment for baby Vinnie after worries he had “either colic or even silent reflux.” Vinnie’s illness came soon after Mrs Hinch was hospitalised herself with a blood clot in her groin just three weeks after she gave birth to him.

All this followed the death of her beloved dad, Alan, on April 25 last year – and as the anniversary of his death came Mrs Hinch admitted she was struggling without him.

She captioned her Instagram post, “And just like that, it’s April.” She then lamented, “A month, I will never see the same way again,” before adding, “As long as I can,” before adding, “As long as I can.”

The Essexian continued, “Life isn’t the same anymore, Dad.” Every day, I check for your signs, but that is not enough. Every day I long for you. Time doesn’t make things easier; rather, it shows me more of what you’re missing.

“I just want to sit with you, I want to make you a cup of coffee, I want to hold Vinnie in my arms, I want to read Ronnie’s school report, help you order her Mother’s Day flowers, and then spend the day together in the workshop, living out the dream we have just begun,” I said. Then, regrettably, Sophie said, “I’ve never needed you so much, Dad, and things are difficult right now.” “Bubber x”

Paul O’Grady’s incredible secret friendship with Queen Elizabeth revealed for first time

Amazing details of the late Paul O’Grady’s relationship with Queen Elizabeth are revealed in a fascinating new book by his producer and friend Malcolm Prince

Paul O’Grady arrived at Lady Elizabeth Anson’s house for what he thought was a routine visit to see his long-standing friend who had been unwell. He carried a WH Smith bag, as he often did, and was led into the kitchen, where to his surprise, the Queen was already there, having a cup of tea.

Paul later admitted he was a little embarrassed by his disheveled appearance, but he did not let it show. But the encounter marked the beginning of an extraordinary secret friendship between Paul and the late Queen that today can be revealed for the first time.

“It was, I have since learnt, one of many such encounters Paul enjoyed with the Queen,” writes his friend and producer Malcolm Prince, in his new book, Paul O’Grady – Not The Same Without You.

“He kept his association relatively quiet, and rarely mentioned it on air or in public. If he did mention the royals, his viewers and listeners would not know if he was joking; after all, would you have believed him if he told you he had had tea with the Queen?”

On that occasion, Her Majesty thanked Paul for being such a loyal friend to her cousin, and for being a regular visitor to her during her illness. “Paul replied he had been friends with her for many years and his concern was the same he would show to anyone,” Malcolm writes.

Labour peer and actor Michael Cashman, who was close friends with Paul, says the late Queen loved how down to earth he was. “Paul was not impressed by wealth or privilege. He loved truth and he loved honesty, and I think that is why the Queen found him so interesting and why she engaged with him so often as she did,” he says.

Malcolm says he often believed Paul was joking when he name-dropped the royals while working alongside Paul for 14 years on his BBC Radio 2 show. “He used to say to me, ‘Well, they are listening’. I asked who and he used to mouth the words, ‘Royal family’. I was thinking, it is another one of his yarns. But he was telling the truth all along.”

In 2015, during the opening of dog kennels at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Paul encouraged the Queen to adopt a corgi – though she declined. His royal friendships extended to Queen Camilla, who appeared on his popular show For the Love of Dogs.

“He would have regular lunches with Camilla at Fortnum and Mason. You could not help but think how far he had come,” Malcolm says of Paul, who was awarded an MBE in 2008. “I think even he was surprised but did not like to boast.”

While Paul enjoyed these private royal moments, his final years were marked by heartbreak closer to home, at BBC Radio 2. Malcolm and Paul worried for the future of their hugely popular show following a change in management. Their fears were realised in the summer of 2021 when Paul’s manager Joan Marshrons was informed by the BBC of their plans.

“Instead of a new two-year deal to continue the show, Paul was offered a one-year contract for just 26 programmes in two blocks of 13 each. He would normally present over 40 editions of TeamPOG a year. His manager Joan phoned me. We were flabbergasted. And when Joan broke the news to Paul, he too was shocked.

“He phoned me. ‘F*** ’em, Malcolm. We will just do the first thirteen and then we will bugger off.’ I had never known him be so angry – which was saying something.”

Malcolm also writes how Radio 2 made the situation worse with the way they mishandled the public messaging. “When the BBC’s press office prepared a draft release which announced the comedian Rob Beckett would be joining Radio 2 to “save Sundays”, Paul hit the roof: ‘“Save” Sundays?!? How dare they say that!’. I could not believe how disrespectful the messaging and optics were…

“Joan did inform the BBC that Paul was not happy, and he received an email apologising for the insensitive use of words. A rewritten press release was published.”

The impact was significant, leaving his friends furious.

Jayne Tunnicliffe recalls: “I could not believe it when I heard Paul was leaving Radio 2. Asking him to share the Sunday spot with Rob Beckett must have been such a slap in the face…The move by Radio 2 was unforgivable…

“And it turned into such a disastrous decision because had Paul been allowed to continue the show with Malcolm, he might have still been with us today.” Malcolm says they were supported by fellow Radio 2 star Steve Wright, whose own show was ended by BBC bosses. He describes how Steve was also left “broken” by the decision.

He writes: “Privately, the diktat to end the high-profile programme after 23 years broke Steve, and during our call he kept on saying, ‘I just don’t get it, Malcolm, we haven’t done anything wrong, have we?’. To hear Wrighty sound so despondent saddened me.

“He was a radio hero of mine. I reminded him his own programmes, and the way he approached and created them, had inspired me in the way I produced. He asked me to send his love to Paul and we bade farewell.” Malcolm says that the bad blood over the way the episode was handled continued until the day of Paul’s death, at the age of 67.

Visiting Paul hours before his death at his Kent home on March 28, 2023, he writes: “Paul asked if I had heard from the BBC. ‘No’, I replied. Publicly, he had not said anything negative about the station since we had left the previous August. But he still found the BBC’s decision bewildering, believing they did not understand who the real Radio 2 audience was.

“It was clear Paul had not forgiven the Corporation for the way he had been treated…I wonder how long Rob Beckett will last?’ he mused.” Rob left his Sunday afternoon slot in April this year.

Speaking to this paper, Malcolm says he was not surprised Paul was upset up until his death. Malcolm says: “He was bruised, but I think really he was embarrassed, because that had never happened to Paul before. He was upset. He was angry about it. His fans deserved to know what really happened. It was a really unhappy situation.”

Amanda Holden’s special tribute to Alan Carr as she unveils Halloween transformation

Amanda Holden, 54, and her daughters transformed into three Traitors to celebrate Halloween – and her friend Alan Carr, who is on Celebrity Traitors, loved the costume idea

Amanda Holden paid a special tribute to her pal Alan Carr as she unveiled her Halloween transformation alongside her lookalike daughters.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 54, went all out for Halloween and channelled her inner Traitor alongside her daughters, 19-year-old Lexi and 13-year-old Hollie. The trio donned cloaks and carried lanterns as they posed for pictures to mark October 31.

Their costumes resembled those worn by Amanda’s friend Alan and his fellow Traitors on the Claudia Winkleman-led TV show, Celebrity Traitors. Sharing a video of her turning to the camera as well as two photos with her daughters, Amanda wrote on Instagram, “A trait(or) trick for you. Ahead of tomorrow …..#HappyHalloween.”

Alan, 49, loved the costume idea as he commented: “This is brilliant!!” A fan told Alan: “Now you need to be Amanda.” Presenter Claudia, 53, also gave Amanda her seal of approval as she commented on the post with four red heart emojis. Ruth Langsford wrote: “Brilliant!!!”

But the Traitors-inspired look wasn’t the only transformation Amanda made this Halloween. She also dressed as as Glinda and Elphaba from Wicked alongside her fellow Heart Radio host, Ashley Roberts. Amanda wore a strapless pink ballgown paired with a silver tiara and matching wand, while Ashley was painted green and wore Elphaba’s iconic black witch’s dress.

The Instagram post was captioned: “Defying gravity before their first coffee! @noholdenback, @jamie.theakston & @iamashleyroberts bring a little WICKED magic to Heart Breakfast this #Halloween!”

After starring in Celebrity Traitors, Alan has been tipped to become a new presenter of Strictly Come Dancing. The comedian is vying to win the reality TV series, which draws to a close on Thursday night on BBC One. PR experts say his stint on the programme, a spin-off from the civilians’ version, has helped further boost Alan’s popularity, following previous success with his own titular show on Channel 4.

And now the broadcaster is being touted to step in to host Strictly Come Dancing next year, following the departures of Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly. One insider said: “More people are watching Alan than are watching Strictly right now. He’s been catapulted to the A-list. The star dust is practically dripping off him.”

It is said Alan, the son of a former professional footballer, thought he would have been the first kicked off The Celebrity Traitors, but he has survived to reach the final five contestants. His antics alongside the likes of Sir Stephen Fry, Kate Garraway, Clare Balding and Celia Imrie have had millions of Brits hooked since October 8.

Alan, who won a BAFTA for Alan Carr: Chatty Man in 2013, was praised for displaying his “super competitive streak” and charisma, traits insiders believe make him an ideal match for Strictly. A source told the Daily Mail: “He’s an old-fashioned showbiz pro who would be just perfect hosting Strictly. If he does manage to win Traitors it will be a sign to the BBC that he has the star quality to present its flagship show.”
