A Customs and Border Protection agent repeatedly punched a man’s head against the road during an arrest in Evanston, Illinois. After the agent’s car was rear-ended, a hostile crowd formed, which the agents reacted with pepper spray and pointed guns at protesters. The identity of the man who was punched is still unknown, whether he was the one who caused the collision or a member of a gathering to compel federal officers to leave. Local leaders resent the incident, and there are still unresolved issues with Chicago’s federal immigration enforcement.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, the stars of Wicked 2, have revealed they have matching tattoos just in time for Wicked: For Good’s release on November 21.
In the popular musical, the actresses play Glinda and Elphaba, and they have forged a lasting friendship that has led to their permanent tattoos.
Ariana took to her Instagram page to share a photo of her and Cynthia’s hands with the inscription ‘For Good’ written in a simple black font under their thumbs.

The singer also wrote, “Happy wicked month, 20 days!” along with the post. In a nod to the second installment of the Wicked movies, the two friends decided to tattoo “For Good” on them.
The relationship between Cynthia and Ariana dates back to Wicked, and they now seem to be a blur. However, their close friendship last year raised questions and sparked a viral sensation that perplexed fans.
The duo were speaking with journalist Tracy Gilchrist, who eluded the release of the movie’s stars by secretly letting them know that fans were “holding space” for the lyrics to one of the musical’s most recognizable songs, “Defying Gravity.”
Cynthia elicited an emotional response when Gilchrist inquired about whether they were aware that “people are really holding space with that and feeling power in that” and that “people are taking the lyrics of Defying Gravity.”
As they looked at one another, Ariana grabbed Cynthia’s finger and said no. They both seemed to know exactly how to respond.
After the clip first went viral, Gilchrist clarified her meaning with Variety, saying, “‘Holding space’ is being physically, emotionally and mentally present with someone or something,” and that people were “finding solace or inspiration” in the song following Donald Trump’s election.
When attending press conferences, Cynthia and Ariana are always a close second.
Cynthia said, “I think we found a little bit of ourselves in each other,” referring to their close friendship. I believe there are some small parts of us that were missing when we first started working together.
Cynthia claims that Ariana, her “best friend,” encouraged her to pursue her goals rather than pursue a career in medicine. In June, she released her second album, I Forgive You.
The triple Oscar nominee, who has won Grammy, Emmy, and Tony awards, said of her pal Ariana: “At the very beginning, when we were doing rehearsals, I sort of decided that, okay, time to write this album. Ariana pressured me because she wouldn’t let me get away with it.
Cynthia said, “I decided I wanted to be a spinal surgeon on the fly. because I was getting started with biology.

Kate Garraway has shared that she’s seeking a diagnosis for a health condition after speaking to a fellow star during her time on Celebrity Traitors. The Good Morning Britain presenter, who was ousted in the eighth episode of the popular BBC show hosted by Claudia Winkleman, revealed that she’s pursuing a diagnosis for a condition which, according to the NHS, means the brain “works differently to most people”.
The 58-year-old Good Morning Britain (GMB) host has spoken with fellow Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns about their lives, and it turns out she is seeking treatment for ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
People with ADHD typically struggle with inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity, exhibiting symptoms such as forgetfulness, easy distraction, difficulty following instructions, and losing items.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Kate said: “Talking to people like Cat about their music and about their life – she’s autistic and ADHD and I’ve got that in my family.”
She continued, “And I’m actually working on an ADHD diagnosis myself. In fact, I believe it to be fairly obvious who I am. It’s fascinating to see how it worked for her, then.
Singer-songwriter Cat confirmed on the show that she indeed has both conditions, explaining that it “takes a lot more effort” when she’s “around people a lot”.
In additional remarks, Kate revealed her thoughts on how her late husband, Derek Draper, who tragically died in January 2024, aged 56, following health complications from Covid-19, might react to her role on Celebrity Traitors.
She continued, “How could you not see this? ,” and said that he “would have absolutely loved” to see her participate. He would have watched the show. !
The NHS outlined that other potential symptoms of ADHD include exhibiting increased energy and restlessness, being chatty or interrupting, and making quick decisions without considering potential consequences.
It made it clear that symptoms typically develop before the age of 12 and that less frequently do women develop the condition.
The NHS speculated that this could be because they are more frequently exhibiting inattentive symptoms. These symptoms may be more difficult to identify than hyperactive symptoms, according to the health service.
Meanwhile, Kate recently discussed her exit from Celebrity Traitors during a recent GMB appearance and revealed her predictions for the winner (the final episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, 6 November).
When asked who it might be, she responded, “I genuinely don’t know,” before adding, “I’d love it to be a Faithful, I think Nick is brilliant, and I think Joe M is shining through.”

She does, however, have a sneaky suspicion that it might be someone else: “I have a sneaky suspicion that it’s going to be Alan, I believe he’s a mega-star.
“But I don’t know, that’s just me saying what I think,”

Rylan Clark has revealed that he’s been inundated with “loads of messages” from worried fans after they read a “fake” news story about his mum, Linda. The 37-year-old, who often shares the limelight with Linda on Celebrity Gogglebox and chats to her on his BBC Radio 2 show, reassured listeners during his Saturday programme that his mum was “absolutely fine”.
During the show, Rylan shared that he’d received an outpouring of concern from fans who had been led to believe Linda was unwell. He clarified: “I’ve had a load of messages today and yesterday. My mum’s absolutely fine and I think there’s a fake news site on Facebook saying that my mum’s not well or something.
She is “absolutely fine,” she says. This morning, she has already had fun with the wheelie bins. Linda is good despite the lovely messages.
Rylan previously stated he wanted to “do more work with Linda but that Linda is not well enough.” In 2021, Linda was diagnosed with skin cancer after being diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease, which has no known cure.
We’ve been given hundreds of things, Rylan said in a statement to the Daily Star. We were given the opportunity to visit this location and participate in a travel show.
She’s not well enough to do it, but it would be amusing. We can use Google Play. Because we are sitting in my kitchen, she feels at ease doing that show.
Rylan recently confessed his immense pride for his mum, Linda, after she was invited to inaugurate a Christmas grotto at her local garden centre. Sharing a photo of Linda with Santa and a garden centre employee, Rylan couldn’t contain his joy.
In front of his tens of thousands of followers, Rylan said, “My mum was asked to open the Christmas grotto at our neighborhood garden center, where she goes every day. I’ve never been more proud.”
Then, he said, “Look at her!” followed by three heart emojis, which caused a flurry of comments.
Michelle Visage, a Drag Race star and RuPaul’s Drag Race co-host, said, “I LOVE YOU, Linda! Look at that pride!!!”! Amy Childs from “The Only Way is Essex” said, “We love you Linda.
Sarah Hadland, the actress and Strictly 2024 contestant, said, “I’m with her; it’s a big moment and the discounts she can now look forward to.”
Sonny Jay of Capital FM exclaimed, “So cute.
For their second BBC Radio 2 series, which explores topics like death and mortality, Rylan revealed it hadn’t made him consider his own health but rather his mother’s. Rylan explained that when he and friend and fellow TV personality Rob Rinder discussed his trip to India with the Radio Times.
Prior to the big game on Saturday, the arrival of the All Blacks for the first time in three years, Scotland had already racked up a victory over the Americans at Murrayfield.
Anyone who would have jumped on an 85-0 victory over a side that Edinburgh, not to mention Glasgow, would have taken to the cleaners would be forgiven.
New Zealand’s game against Ireland in Chicago was streamed live on the big screen at Murrayfield, and a sizable number of fans stayed put. A ridiculous red card was given to Tadhg Beirne, which gave them a stop-start first half.
A flat Ireland made a line-out five times in 46 minutes, failed to score beyond the 51st minute, and failed to live with an All Blacks side that only really started putting things together in the final quarter. They were unremarkable up until the sporadic moment of class.
Additionally, Scott and Jordie Barrett were both seen hurting themselves. Both parties are having a hard time making it for Saturday, according to the camp.

The Scots were ruthless in their opposition to the United States, carrying out their best efforts. The few players who will be playing next Saturday had a great time, and Liam McConnell, the rough diamond at six, who did well on his debut, had a great time. It’s entertaining to watch McConnell mature, even at age 21. His untapped talent is outstanding.
The biggest dogs will return for the All Blacks. Scotland faced New Zealand for the first time 100 and twenty years ago, and they haven’t, of course, lost. That leaves 30 defeated and two draws. The most agonizing of all three losses comes in that series, probably the last three.
With seven minutes left, Scotland had a point lead in 2014, but they were ultimately defeated by a 31-23 margin.
Was more difficult to accept three years later. In the fall of that year, a plague struck Scotland’s loosehead props. Allan Dell, Rory Sutherland, and Allan Dickinson suffered injuries. Unknown Darryl Marfo was brought in.
There were a lot of in-game injuries for Gregor Townsend’s team. Hooker Stuart McInally had a few moments at openside. The replacement hooker, George Turner, also had a performance at openside.
Townsend still has a vivid look after the game. veiled fury and dejection. With eight minutes remaining, Scotland led 22-10. 14 men made up the All Blacks. Then referee Matthew Carley was unable to stop a nearly certain try thanks to Kieran Read’s chicanery.
Read should have been off, and Scotland ought to have had a chance. The final fifteen minutes of the contest should have been a five-point game against 13 men. New Zealand escaped.
We don’t go back to the agony just for laughs. These near-misses serve as reminders of how brutally difficult it is to defeat the All Blacks. Perhaps the most instructive of all defeats is the most recent defeat.
Doddie Weir and his three sons played the match ball that night, which is still just as moving now, three years later.
In the opening game of the contest, Scotland had a 14-point lead before falling to 9-points. In 52 minutes, they defeated the All Blacks, and they still managed 23 points. unmatched . Then they lost their vigor, awarded penalties, received a yellow card, and ultimately lost the test.
It was typical and agonizing. The All Blacks had been heavily underpowered, but they stayed calm and turned the screw millimeter by millimeter when necessary.

Townsend has some makings to make regarding the composition of his starting lineup and other matters to consider regarding the bench’s composition. Is he going to split by 6-2? The logic says yes in order to add more gnarled forwards to the mix later. It’s a risk that’s worthwhile, but it’s worthwhile. Scotland needs to “power-up.”
Townsend will be making up some points. Since the Lions’ Tour, Blair Kinghorn has essentially not been hampered. His seventh game of the season came against Stade Francais on Saturday, when he played 80 minutes for Toulouse. Is there a need for him against the All Blacks, but is his freshness a factor?
The pair of Glasgow powerhouses, Sione Tuipulotu and Stafford McDowall, should be the midfield in the interests of cohesion and with respect to the flying claims of the excellent Rory Hutchinson.
With Finn Russell and Ben White partnering at half-back, cohesion will probably win the day once more. However, Jamie Dobie has never been more intent on shifting the order to nine. The two backs on the bench could be Dobie and Tom Jordan.
Since April, Zander Fagerson hasn’t played. What are the chances that a big man will simply reappearance and play the game of his life for close to 80 minutes? He must, of course. Otherwise, Scotland might have been sunk. That is important for Fisherson.
With Gregor Brown, a fantastic ball-carrier with belligerence and footwork, Scott Cummings and Max Williamson, who both have muscle coming off the bench, Townsend hopes to start a new era.
Scotland deserves more praise from Grant Gilchrist, but it needs to get going. Townsend is undoubtedly in agreement. Matt Fagerson sits at six and Jack Dempsey at eight, respectively, is his back-row. Andy Onyeama-Christie, who has been fired, and Rory Darge, who is recovering, share the seven jersey. Once more, both should be in the 23, with the assumption that Darge is fit to play.
A 6-2 on the bench, which is crucial for Scotland, gives them a better chance of dealing with New Zealand in that crucial final quarter, which is typically when the team rallies to win.
Rory Sutherland, George Turner, and possibly Will Hurd in front. The most aggressive, belligerent, and objectionable nuisance you can find is Williamson, Darge, and Onyeama Christie. Magnus Bradbury, arguably, fits the bill when at the height of his powers.
A pack of extra pounds and a dangerous backline. Despite not being particularly terrifying in the modern era, New Zealand still has magic inside them.
