Danny Dyer has revealed that his daughter, Dani Dyer, experienced a “freak accident” which led to her withdrawal from Strictly Come Dancing. The former Love Island star was all set to showcase her dance moves on the BBC One show with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.

Dani, 29, had to take a break from the competition last week after falling during training. She initially assumed she had just “rolled her ankle,” but an MRI revealed a fracture after that.

This unfortunate turn of events led to West End sensation and fellow ex-Love Island contestant, Amber Davies, stepping in as a replacement on Strictly. Danny, known for his tough-guy roles in Hollywood, discussed the incident with his daughter on their Live and Let Dyers podcast.
