Michelle Keegan appeared radiant on Instagram on Wednesday as she shared a tender moment with her daughter Palma, showing off her £1,200 iCandy pram.

The 38-year-old actress couldn’t hide her joy as she described enjoying a “special first summer with our girl” while pushing her five-month-old through the sunshine.

The former Coronation Street star, who shares little Palma with her husband Mark Wright, 38, looked effortlessly stylish in a crisp white crop top paired with classic blue denim jeans. She let her dark hair fall naturally around her shoulders, complementing her casual look with beige suede trainers and a chic pair of glasses.

Michelle soaked up every moment of motherhood while posing next to her lavish pram. A memorable first summer with our girl, @icandyworlduk, is the caption of the post.

Michelle and husband Mark’s daughter Palma shared some holiday photos with their family during a recent trip to Mallorca, which came after Michelle revealed her summer highlights.

Michelle and her daughter Palma welcomed back in March after spending a day at the beach with their husband, former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark. Fans were enthralled by the Netflix star’s bikini photo, despite Michelle’s post full of love-up shots of her and Mark and several glimpses into little Palma’s adorable fashion sense.

The stunning snap saw the Fool Me Once star pose in a leopard-print bikini and a brown suede cowboy hat as she snapped the photo in the mirror before heading off to the pool. Michelle’s adoring fans were especially mind-blown by the star’s gym-honed physique.

“OMG! Did you skip six months without having children? One fan gushed, “You look so incredible, Michelle.” Another phrase repeated, “Beautiful photos. You and your bikini body must be in order for me. Love it”.

What gorgeous photos, they added, another person added. How do you look so amazing with Palma?

Another fan of Michelle called it “The BODY in the bikini.” I’m actually shocked at how amazing you appear. And you look fantastic in motherhood.

The former Coronation Street star and her husband headed to the Balearic Islands for some summer sun with baby Palma for some rest and relaxation. Michelle shared a number of other images and captioned her post: “August holiday album”.

Luxury meals, idyllic sea views, and bikini photos were among the photos. Palma’s mother’s face is still visible on any public photos, despite the couple’s other photos.

Earthquake rescue teams battling to reach survivors in Afghanistan

Following the devastating earthquake that left more than 1,400 people dead in eastern Afghanistan, rescue teams are desperately trying to reach survivors.

Authorities issued a warning on Wednesday that countless victims are still confined to remote, largely unaccessible areas.

Late on Sunday, a magnitude 6. 0 shallow earthquake struck the mountainous region along Pakistan’s border, causing mud-brick homes to fall on drowsy residents. Residents have gathered in open areas or are frantically looking through rubble for lost loved ones because of ongoing aftershocks.

One of Afghanistan’s deadliest earthquakes in recent years is reported to have resulted in at least 1, 469 deaths, with more than 3, 700 of those injuries.

More than 500,000 people in eastern Afghanistan have been impacted by the catastrophe, according to Filippo Grandi, the head of the UN refugee program, according to X.

The province of Kunar, which borders Nangarhar and Laghman, reported hundreds of injuries and several deaths, had the highest number of casualties.

Due to aftershocks, which cause rockfalls, which prevent access to remote villages, and forbid families from leaving the area in fear of further structural collapses, relief efforts are severely hampered.

Awrangzeeb Noori, 35, from the Nangarhar province’s Darai Nur, told the AFP news agency, “Everyone is afraid and there are many aftershocks.” Without shelter, we spend the entire day and night in the fields.

The World Health Organization announced an increased emergency response on Wednesday, requesting $4 million to provide crucial health care, expand mobile services, and increase supplies.

Jamshed Tanoli, the WHO emergency team leader in Afghanistan, stated in a statement that “every hour counts.” “Survivors have lost everything, families are grieving, and hospitals are struggling.”

Formerly remote areas had finally been reached, according to deputy spokesman for the Taliban government, Hamdullah Fitrat. Because the region is very mountainous and difficult to reach, “we cannot determine the date that the operation will be finished in all areas.”

In two days, the Taliban government’s defense ministry flew 155 helicopters to regional hospitals to evacuate injured people and their families.

According to Fitrat, a coordination camp has been set up in Khas Kunar district to “monitor the transfer of the injured, the burial of the dead, and the rescue of survivors.” There are also two additional sites close to the epicentre.

Father Ted co-creator Graham Linehan arrives at court after airport arrest over tweets

Graham Linehan, the co-creator of Father Ted, allegedly harassed and harmed transgender woman Sophia Brooks’ phone. He has since appeared in court. He denies the accusations.

Graham Linehan, a co-creator of Father Ted, is facing a charge of harassing and injuring a transgender woman’s phone. Five officers immediately detained him at Heathrow Airport the following week as he returned from the US.

Before waving a sandwich board that read, “There’s no such thing as a transgender child,” Linehan posed for a picture for the cameras as he entered Westminster Magistrates’ today.

Linehan, a five-time BAFTA award winner, has denied the accusations leveled against him. After being charged with the alleged offences, which allegedly occurred at a Battle of Ideas festival on October 19, 2024, he has appeared in court today.

He stated in a statement that “this is part of a long history of the police acting as a goon squad for trans rights activists after being contacted by the Mirror about those charges earlier this year.”

Linehan is also the author of The IT Crowd and Black Books, two popular TV programs that survived cancer in 2018. He was honored with a lifetime achievement and published a memoir, Tough Crowd: How I Made and Lost a Career in Comedy in October 2023.

He has since claimed that his career and marriage have been destroyed because of his vocal criticism of the trans-rights movement.

It comes just days after Linehan said he was questioned by police over “joke” tweets he made about trans people. He said he was taken to a police station near Heathrow Airport following his flight from Arizona.

He stated in an email to his substack followers, “I just got arrested once more.” When I returned to London, I discovered that trans activists still run the police in the country.

Five armed police officers were waiting for me as soon as I took off the plane at Heathrow. Not one, not two, but five. I was taken to a private area and informed that I had been arrested for three tweets. The state mobilized five armed officers to arrest a comedy writer for this tweet (and no, I promise you, I am not making this up) in a nation where paedophiles avoid sentencing, knife crime is out of control, and women are assaulted and harassed every time they gather to speak.

“I actually laughed when I saw the cops.” I was unable to support myself. Don’t tell me! Trans activists have informed you that “the officers gave no reaction,” which was the theme throughout the day. There was a sort of polite bafflement among the upperclassmen. Completely professional and even kind, but the majority of the time had no idea what all of this was about.

He claimed he was examined by a nurse while he was in custody before being taken to the hospital because he was concerned for his health in his lengthy post, which also detailed his time spent in the prison cell.

He claimed that a nurse eventually came in and discovered that my blood pressure was above 200, typical for strokes. My life was literally threatened by the stress of being detained for jokes! After being under observation for about eight hours, I was taken to A&amp, E, where I am now writing this.

The doctors speculated that stress, long-haul travel, and a lack of movement were all factors contributing to the high blood pressure. I don’t think lesbians have c****, so I think it may have been a factor in the fact that I’ve been targeted by trans activists for eight years while working with the police on a dedicated, persistent harassment campaign.

Linehan has been placed on a bail until October, and according to his circumstances, he has been told not to post on X social media.

British Rally title would be an honour – Creighton

British Rally Championship

It’s a “huge honor” for William Creighton to be able to capture the British Rally Championship title at Rali Ceredigion.

In the final round of the BRC season, Creighton and co-driver Liam Regan will win the title.

Former junior world and British champion, Creighton, is a Motorsport Ireland driver who has only recently managed to escape the BRC title.

Creighton praised the season as having been “an incredible one.”

Every rally has asked a different thing of us, and the competition has been fierce.

It’s a great honor for us to compete for the British title at Ceredigion, but we’re keeping our sights on the rally itself.

The 27-year-old is vying for the championship against his Toyota team-mate Meirion Evans, who can also win if Creighton doesn’t score.

If Creighton wins, local driver Evans will finish second, or if the Northern Irishman finishes second and his rival will finish third.

A strong result for Creighton will at least help to bring the title to the Cambrian Rally’s final round in October.

The European Rally Championship, which will bring the best drivers from Europe to the United Kingdom, makes up the Rali Ceredigion, a special event held during the BRC season.

With the ERC drivers present, it’s the perfect opportunity to see how we stack up against some of the best in Europe, Crighton continued. The stages are technical, quick, and unforgiving.

In action are Devine and Armstrong.

Jon Armstrong and Shane Byrne celebrate on the podiumM-Sport

With three rounds left, Motorsport Ireland’s Jon Armstrong, an outsider contender for the ERC title, will join Creighton at the rally.

M-Sport driver Shane Byrne and M-Sport driver Armstrong, who finished on the podium in the final race in the Czech Republic, expressed their excitement for the Wales event.

We have two strong rallies coming up to finish the season strong, despite the fact that it has a bit of an outside chance to keep the ERC title fight alive.

The goal is to have a clean rally, enjoy ourselves, and see what the outcome we can bring home at the end of the year because we had a good pace.

Anything is possible, since we finished second last time out in Barum. We’ll give it our all, have a good time, and start the week off right.

Callum Devine, the reigning Irish Tarmac Rally champion, will also make a one-time appearance in Wales as MRF Tyres Skoda Fabia pilot.

Devine expressed his delight in this opportunity.

NBA to investigate Kawhi Leonard-LA Clippers endorsement deal

Following a report from journalist Pablo Torre, the NBA announced on Wednesday that it would look into whether a $ 28 million endorsement deal between Kawhi Leonard and a California-based sustainability services company allowed the Los Angeles Clippers to break league salary cap regulations.

The Clippers vehemently opposed any violations of the league’s investigation and expressed their gratitude.

The investigation will focus on connections between Leonard, the Clippers, and Aspiration Fund Adviser, LLC, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. At the time, it named several creditors, including the Clippers (who were owed about $30 million) and KL2 Aspire LLC, which owed $7 million.

In California filings, Leonard is named as the company’s manager. His jersey number is 2 while his initials are KL and KL. On Wednesday, emails sent to his ad-list representatives for comment were not immediately returned.

NBA spokesman Mike Bass stated on Wednesday that “we are aware of this morning’s media report regarding the LA Clippers.”

Steve Ballmer, the owner of the Clippers, invested $50 million in Aspiration, and the pair announced a $300 million partnership in September 2021. About a month later, Leonard agreed to a four-year, $ 176 million extension with the Clippers.

After two years, the team claimed that the team’s contract was in default.

The Clippers and Steve Ballmer neither escaped the salary cap, according to the organization. It is absurd to think that Steve made the investment to give money to Kawhi Leonard. Steve made the decision because Aspiration’s cofounders posed as environmentally conscious and committed to doing what they can for their customers.

Aspiration filed for bankruptcy after a lengthy campaign of market manipulation that defrauded both Steve and numerous other investors and sports teams. Neither Steve nor the Clippers were aware of any illegal activity by Aspiration or its cofounder until the government started its investigation.

Clippers say they aren’t a victim of endorsement fraud.

Joseph Sanberg, the co-founder of Aspiration, entered a guilty plea last month after being charged with wire fraud in federal court. According to the prosecution, he defrauded investors and lenders of $248 million, adding that “Aspiration’s financial statements were inaccurate and reported much higher revenue than the company actually received.”

In his reporting, Torre obtained a copy of the endorsement agreement between Aspiration and KL2 Aspire, which stipulated that Leonard would receive a salary of $7 million for four years. Leonard would still be owed the final $7 million at the time Aspiration filed for bankruptcy despite that schedule.

Leonard has not provided any proof that he publicly supported Aspiration.

The Clippers claimed that team sponsors’ endorsement deals with members of the same team are not unusual or unkind. The Clippers’ organization and Steve neither had any control over Kawhi’s independent endorsement deal with Aspiration. It would be completely incorrect to say otherwise.
