A scathing statement has hit out at Katie Price after her last-minute cancellation of a fundraising event. The former glamour model, 47, had been booked to headline an afterparty event at Milton Keynes Pride Festival.

However, the organisers of MK Pride have said they were left less than impressed with their efforts to get the star turn to confirm her obligation. Instead, they have now released a damning message on social media. While insisting the event will still go ahead without the mum-of-five, the Facebook post hit out at Katie’s apparent “lack of accountability and professionalism”.

Taking to the platform, the statement read: “Milton Keynes Pride Festival is a not-for-profit organisation. The official afterparty was booked and promoted as a fundraising event, with Katie Price contracted as the headline performer.

He's been locked in a war of words with his ex Katie Price
Katie Price was scheduled to attend the occasion.

Her management has confirmed that she will not be honoring her booking despite repeated attempts to contact her to fulfill this agreement. We have no control over this decision, which was made on short notice.

The organization continued, “We are committed to transparency as a Pride organization. In order to put this in context, Ms. Price’s approach to her professional commitments has already been covered extensively in media reports.

“While our country has always supported her, it is regrettable that no one has given her the same amount of support.” We feel sorry for the community’s disappointment when she refuses to fulfill her obligations to a charitable Pride event.

As they sought a replacement, the organizers remained open to the audience’s requests for patience. They also confirmed that Katie’s withdrawal won’t bring the afterparty to a halt.

The statement continued, “We are currently looking for a replacement for Katie Price, and the afterparty will continue as planned at Pink Punters.” Please allow us to finish this in a few hours, and we’ll make an announcement right away.

“All ticket holders are encouraged to retain their tickets in support of the main Milton Keynes Pride Festival remaining free for all to attend. However, if they wish to refund their tickets, we will be in direct contact with all ticket holders to arrange this process. “MK Pride will still operate the dedicated coaches from Campbell Park to Pink Punters, as an additional offering to ensure our community can continue Pride celebrations together.

“Milton Keynes Pride is always fully committed to providing an inclusive, safe, and unforgettable celebration for our community, despite this situation being entirely out of our control,” said the mayor.

A representative for Katie told the Mirror: “Katie is disappointed not to be appearing at the Milton Keynes Pride afterparty due to unforeseen filming commitments. She has great respect for Pride events and the LGBTQ+ community and wishes Milton Keynes Pride every success with their celebrations.”

The news comes as Katie gets ready to release new music. She revealed she has been back in the studio writing new music before her sudden chart success with 2017 track I Got U.

And she has confirmed she is set to release a brand-new track with an X Factor legend writing the track. Former contestant Craig Colton is the man behind Katie’s new track as she continues her dream move.

Levy exits role as Tottenham executive chairman

Daniel Levy’s near 25-year reign as executive chairman of Tottenham is over.

Spurs’ official announcement stated that he had “stepped down,” but BBC Sport is aware that Levy had already done so.

According to reliable sources, the owners agreed for him to resign because they believed that a change would improve sporting success.

Levy was appointed in March 2001 and leaves after the club won the Europa League in May to end a 17-year wait for a trophy.

The 63-year-old was the longest-serving chairman of the Premier League and, prior to that, the chairman of the club. Spurs fans regularly protested against him, especially last season, and he earned an estimated £50 million plus during that time.

Levy will depart without notice, with a deliberate choice to follow up his departure after the summer transfer window.

“I am incredibly proud of the work I have done together with the executive team and all our employees”, said Levy, who had a reputation in football for being a shrewd operator and tough negotiator.

“We have transformed this organization into a top-notch heavyweight competition organization.” We have also established a community.

” I was lucky enough to work with some of the greatest people in this sport, from the team at Lilywhite House and Hotspur Way to all the players and managers over the years.

Tottenham won the European Cup last year in a difficult Premier League campaign, when the team finished 17th under Thomas Frank, who was fired over the summer.

Last season, there were numerous protests directed at Levy, with prominent banners displaying the phrases “Our game is about glory, Levy’s game is about greed” and “24 years, 16 managers, 1 trophy – time for change.”

There were also regular chants of “Levy out” during the campaign.

Levy oversaw the transition from White Hart Lane to the £1 billion, state-of-the-art Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which the team’s new home in 2019.

Spurs also reached the Champions League final in 2019 under former manager Mauricio Pochettino, but they were unsuccessful following a 2-0 defeat by Liverpool.

Football finance expert Kieran Maguire has described Tottenham as the “most profitable club in Premier League history” because of the money their new stadium generates, a historically lower wage structure and a “degree of caution” on transfer spending.

According to FootballTransfers.com, Spurs have signed attacking midfielders Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons for about £181 million this summer.

In recent months, Tottenham have made significant appointments. Before Frank’s arrival, the club named Vinai Venkatesham as their new chief executive in April.

Following Levy’s departure, Peter Charrington assumes a new position as non-executive chairman.

Charrington serves as the director of Tottenham’s owners Enic, a subsidiary of the Tavistock Group, which owns the Lewis family in turn. He was appointed to the Spurs board in March as a non-executive director.

Levy and his family are interested in Enic.

The club stated in a statement that Levy’s departure had changed over the course of the past 25 years.

” It has played in European competitions in the last 18 of 20 seasons, becoming one of the world’s most recognised football clubs, consistently investing in its academy, players and facilities, including a new, world-class stadium and state-of-the-art training centre.

“The club has also engaged in top-level competition frequently, recording numerous fantastic on-field victories, most recently the Europa League cup win.”

Tottenham claimed that the shareholder or ownership structure would remain unchanged.

Charrington thanked Levy for his service and added: “This is a new era of leadership for the club, on and off the pitch. I appreciate the significant changes that have occurred as we have laid new foundations for the future.

We are now fully focused on empowering our talented club members under Vinai and his executive team, and we are fully focused on stability.

The Levy decision was influenced by who and what?

The Lewis family believes that success on the pitch hasn’t been consistent enough during Levy’s time in charge, according to BBC Sport.

Spurs have won two trophies during his 25 years at Spurs, the first being the League Cup in 2008.

The Lewis family is aware of some of the fanatical outcry that has recently taken control of the club, with a large portion of it coming from Levy.

Joe Lewis, 88, is thought to have played a minor role in Levy’s decision to resign from his position.

It is understood that younger generations of the family – Vivienne and Charlie, who are Joe’s children – have been key in making the decision.

In recent months, Vivienne has been particularly visible at Spurs. Nick Beucher, Joe Lewis’s grandson-in-law, has also grown more involved.

BBC Sport understands all the hierarchical changes over the past few months have led to today’s announcement.

According to what it is understood, the executive chairman’s position will be axed in order to modernize the board’s structure.

The Lewis family has been instrumental in those changes, including the Levy decision.

Levy will remain a shareholder of Enic but will cease to have any direct involvement with the club.

Enic’s stock structure will remain the same.

Early this year, The Lewis’ and other well-placed sources reported to BBC Sport that the Tavistock Group had raised a number of issues.

The financial operation of the club was among the areas reviewed.

Additionally, it is understood that the club’s owners invested heavily in the last few months, which has helped Spurs gain a competitive advantage.

There will be mixed emotions – Robinson

Paul Robinson, a former Tottenham goalkeeper, on BBC Radio 5 Live:

Fans will have varying opinions of Daniel. He’s been the front of Enic for a number of years and has been responsible for how the money has been spent.

Although he has received some criticism, I believe that what he has accomplished has evolved as a result of how you view business.

The investment being used wisely on the pitch will always be the critic he will always be facing.

It’s a really strange time. I’m not sure why they’ve chosen to enter a new year’s schedule just a few games in, but the future holds some interesting possibilities.

Everyone will consider the stadium, the training facility, and the underachievement on the pitch as a result of Daniel’s legacy. There will be mixed emotions, but he can certainly hold his head up high on the business front.

Hindsight is a great thing, and we can all have our opinions from distance, but when you look at what he’s done, you can tell genuinely that he’s always had the club’s best interests at heart.

Fans of Levy are “great moderniser” but “thankful” he’s gone.

We contacted you to ask your thoughts on Daniel Levy’s resignation as the executive chairman of Tottenham.

Here are some of your comments:

Alex has transformed a team from perpetual relegation struggles to almost permanent European qualification, created a fantastic new stadium, enthralled numerous top managers, and produced many talented players. The trophy collection could almost have been much better given that we nearly won the league and reached the semis and finals. But I think that ultimately Daniel Levy will be seen as the great moderniser of the club, and will hopefully get the respect he is due. A well-run club that most people in the football industry envy. He can be accomplished when retired.

Woodilson: Initially feel happy. This has been a long-term wish for many Spurs fans. I’m not entirely sure where this leaves us because there isn’t any ownership change. Fascinated to know if this was planned or whether this is Levy actually realising he made mistakes this summer.

Dan: I must admit that I’ve been a vocal “Levy Out” supporter in recent years because of the poor footballing choices, but I can’t deny that the club has really grown since the time of Alan Sugar. The current stadium is incredible and the most obvious standout project under Levy’s leadership, despite the fact that I adored the former White Hart Lane. I wish him well for the future! Daniel, I appreciate it!

Before her boyfriend Rob’s anticipated proposal, Bethany aspires to rekindle her relationship with Nel. However, a volcano erup as they re-establish their friendship.

In the first look at Erupcja shared with Deadline, Chari and Lena’s character reconnect as Bethany questions if Nel really wants to marry Rob. Director Ohs welcomes the stars into the writers room to share their own thoughts on the plot and characters.

Fans are persuaded Charli will succeed in her acting career after seeing her debut. One person said, “AHHHH SHES SO GOOD.” Another continued, “wow that Oscar run is about to be something so serious.”

She ate that, according to another commenter. “I can smell the egot] Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards,” a fourth person wrote.

Director Ohs mentioned working with Charli on the project and said, “She came to Poland during Brat Summer, which is great, and it’s still just crazy that she chose to do that.”

We were like, “Don’t do Brat green, you can’t do it,” because of all those color interstitials in the movie.

This is uncharted territory, he continued, “for Charli and Lena.” This is a group of strangers, mostly from a new, unfamiliar process.

They are also being asked to do this incredibly vulnerable thing, which is step in front of a camera and expose themselves, in an unfamiliar process with a group of strangers. I’m very appreciative of how they all showed up so generously and bravely.

Charli is also set to appear in 100 Nights of Hero, a historical fantasy film written and directed by Julia Jackman. It is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Isabel Greenberg and stars Emma Corrin, Nicholas Galitzine, Maika Monroe, Amir El-Masry, Richard E. Grant and Felicity Jones.

She will appear in the drama The Moment, the action adventure comedy Sacrifice, the horror film Faces of Death, and the obscene thriller I Want Your Sex.

Macron hopeful of US support to Kyiv’s security as 26 nations pledge troops

After 26 European nations pledged to send troops to Ukraine after the conflict is over, French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that there is “no doubt” that the US will support security efforts there.

Macron addressed the so-called coalition of the willing on Thursday at a meeting in Paris, followed by a video call to Donald Trump to demonstrate Washington’s commitment to Ukrainian security, which is viewed as crucial to any peacekeeping efforts.

The French president claimed that the US would announce its “reassurance force” “in the coming days” and that Washington would work with European nations to impose new sanctions if Russia continued to reject a three-and-a-half-year war.

Following mixed reviews from Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the summit in Paris was attended by European leaders.

Natacha Butler, a reporter from Paris, reported for Al Jazeera that Macron had stated that Trump had a “positive” conversation and that more information might be forthcoming about what the US might have to offer in terms of security guarantees.

That has been very vague indeed up until now, she said, citing Trump’s earlier statement that Ukraine would not receive US troops.

According to experts, any US operation would depend on the US’s ability to provide airstrikes and intelligence to nations outside of Ukraine.

“Crystal step”

The coalition of the willing’s 26 members, which include Canada, Australia, Japan, and Canada, are expected to provide increased training for the Ukrainian army and force deployment by some European nations.

Along with Zelenskyy, Macron and other leaders said, “We have today 26 countries who have formally committed to deploy as ‘reassurance force’ troops in Ukraine, or to be present on the ground, in the sea, or in the air.”

He stated that troops would not be “on the front line” and would “prevent any new major aggression.”

Zelensky applauded the decision, claiming that this was the first serious concrete step made today for the first time in a long time.

A Downing Street spokeswoman said that it was necessary to “go even further” to press Putin to end hostilities during the summit, according to United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz reaffirmed his concern for the scope of the involvement, but he also pressed for more pressure.

After the summit, a government spokesman said, “Germany will decide on military involvement at the appropriate time.”

Giorgia Meloni’s office, the country’s prime minister, stated that while Italy would not send troops to Ukraine, it could assist in the investigation of any potential peace agreements.

Peace talks stall.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin is currently showing no interest in a peace deal, with alarm rising after his well-known visit to Beijing this week. Countries met to discuss Ukraine’s security.

While Zelenskyy expressed “very pleased that things seemed to be moving forward,” Al Jazeera’s Butler claimed that Putin had no intention of bringing up any kind of peace negotiations.

Many viewed this as a call for capitulation, which Putin had previously stated he would be willing to meet with Zelenskyy in Moscow.

Trump, who hasn’t yet managed to broker talks between Zelenskyy and Putin, warned this week that if he was unhappy with Moscow’s next steps, he would “see things happen.”

In the absence of a peace deal that the Kremlin would approve, Putin has stated that Moscow is willing to “resolve all our military issues militarily.” Additionally, he has stated that he opposes the presence of European forces in post-war Ukraine.

NATO’s Mark Rutte responded, “It’s not up to them to decide.” “I believe we must stop making Putin too powerful,” he said.

Trump is “displeased” with his position.

Zelenskyy pointed the finger at Hungary and Slovakia specifically after the video call with Trump, saying that the US president was “very upset” that European nations were still buying Russian oil.

In 2022, the majority of Russian oil imports were prohibited by the European Union, but Slovakia and Hungary were made exceptions to this to give the landlocked central European nations time to find alternative oil sources.

Throughout the conflict, Ukraine has targeted the Russian Druzhba oil pipeline, which transports Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia. The European Commission has been instructed by both countries to stop the attacks against Ukraine.

Trump “emphasised” that European nations must stop purchasing Russian oil, according to a White House official cited by Reuters, adding that the EU had already sold 1.1 billion euros ($1.28 billion) in fuel to Russia in a year.

The official added that the president also emphasized that European leaders must put economic pressure on China to fund Russia’s war efforts.

By January 1st, 2028, the European Commission has proposed legislation to stop imports of Russian oil and gas into the EU.

‘It’s a war’: Marco Rubio labels Ecuadorian cartels ‘foreign terrorists’

During a visit to Ecuador, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio referred to two additional Latin American cartels as “foreign terrorist organizations.”

The top US diplomat, Daniel Naboa, and Rubio met in Quito on Thursday after making the announcement.

Rubio described the designations as part of a “war” US President Donald Trump has begun to wage against Latin American cartels during a press conference after speaking with Ecuador’s foreign minister.

It’s a war, to be honest. A war is being waged against murderers. Rubio remarked that the world is fighting terror.

Two Ecuador-based gangs, Los Lobos and Los Choneros, both of whom have participated in the illicit drug trade, were the target of the new US “terrorism” designations.

Rubio asserted that the gangs had a history of violence and that they were more accountable for trafficking than trafficking. These are not drug dealers, they say. These are “narco terrorists” who terrorize their home countries.

Under President Trump, Rubio’s aggressive rhetoric highlights a shift toward labeling organized crime in Latin America as “terrorism.”

However, experts claim that Trump justified a military attack on a boat leaving Venezuela on Tuesday using that logic. 11 people allegedly belonging to the Tren de Aragua gang were killed extrajudicially as a result of the bombing.

Rubio did not respond to a question about whether the administration would seek congressional approval for such strikes in Ecuador during his visit, which many experts believe are against international law.

Rubio, however, stated that he did not anticipate the US carrying out such strikes against “cooperating countries.”

According to Rubio, “There is no need, because those governments will help us identify” alleged gang members. They will assist us in locating these individuals and destroying them. If that is what it requires.

He compared Venezuela to Venezuela under President Nicolas Maduro, whose government he called a “terrorist organization, an organized crime organization.”

For its part, the term “foreign terrorist organization” does not, by itself, give the US president more authority to launch unilateral military strikes against specific groups.

Rubio added that it “allows the US to go against the assets, properties, and monies of any person in the US or in the US banking system related to these groups.” He claimed that it also improves the ability of foreign governments to share intelligence.

Rubio and his counterpart, foreign minister Gabriela Sommerfeld, made announcements about increased security funding for Ecuador, improved migration cooperation, and the signing of a free trade agreement.

The new security commitments include $ 13 million for drones and $ 6 million for general security for the Ecuadorian Navy.

Noboa has expressed support for Rubio’s suggestion that he might also think about reestablishing a military base in Ecuador. However, a national referendum would be necessary to decide whether it would be approved.

According to Lucia Newman, a reporter for Al Jazeera’s Latin America program in Santiago, Chile, Rubio’s visit demonstrated that Ecuador and the US “are really on the same page when it comes to fighting organized crime and drug trafficking.”

A This Morning guest, who appeared on the ITV show to claim he host his legs due to sepsis, has been jailed. Neil Hopper discussed his so-called battle on the daytime programme, where he said he developed the life-threatening illness after a family camping trip.

After causing the injuries himself, the former surgeon was now in jail for 32 months for fraud totaling more than £466, 000. According to what Truro Crown Court heard, he used dry ice to amputate his legs to the point where they needed to be amputated.

Hopper had a sexual interest in the act, both in terms of ambition. According to the court, he intended to receive a sum of £231, 031 from one insurer and a sum of £232, 622 from another.

Hopper claimed that sepsis caused him to lose his legs.

Hopper also admitted to having extreme pornography on three separate counts. When “Eunuch Maker” Marius Gustavson was detained by police, the 49-year-old was exposed.

Gustavson has been sentenced to life in prison. After freezing it, he had his leg amputated, his own penis cut off, and his nipple’s tip removed.

According to the prosecution, Hopper purchased three videos from Gustavson’s website that show men willingly having their genitalia removed.

In roughly 1,500 messages with Gustavson, Hopper described how his own leg was amputated and how he did it. According to Mr. Lee, “Mr. Hopper always had dreams of becoming an amputee, and it is obvious from the messages that it is evident from the messages.

He has a sexual desire to become an amputee, something he has been obsessed with. Hopper was portrayed in the court by “Defence Andrew Langdon KC” as having grown up in a rural village in Wales and felt he was “in the wrong body” from a young age.

He claimed that he wanted to be a woman because of his gender. Hopper, who was staying with his in-laws when he and his family were separated in April 2019, made the decision to “irreversibly damage his legs.”

“He knows in the days and weeks that followed, he let himself down in the most shameful way,” added Mr. Langdon. The attorney explained to the court that Hopper’s wife desired a divorce.

Hopper had previously claimed that while camping with his daughter, he fell ill. He claimed that he had sepsis while his daughter recovered from surgery.

Hopper claimed there was no guarantee it would work and that he would have needed skin grafts and operations to save his legs.

The doctor advised the patient to choose one operation instead of the other to sort things out. Hopper was referred to as the “Bravest surgeon in Britain,” performing hundreds of amputations on others.

He was shortlisted in the European Space Agency’s search for an astronaut with a disability. Hopper had worked at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals since March 2023.

He was subject to restrictions from the medical register since December 2023 and has been subject to a general medical council suspension since April 2023.

A spokesperson for Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust told the Sun: “The charges do not relate to Mr Hopper’s professional conduct and there has been no evidence to suggest any risk to patients.
