Bardha, the ex-girlfriend of Love Is Blind, has admitted to having no desire to speak with her ex-boyfriend and shared a moment with his ex-girlfriend.

Season 2 of Love Is Blind UK has been a rollercoaster, with last week’s finale showing which couples tied the knot and the subsequent reunion episode last night revealing who has actually stayed together.
At the end of the Netflix show, shocked fans saw Bardha make the difficult decision to turn down a heartbroken Jed at the altar.
It was revealed during the reunion that the two have since broken up, despite her still-feirdest desire to date.
Additionally, Bardha told Jed she had no desire to see him again, and the former couple’s relationship appeared particularly ostentatious.
The actress sat down to talk about what had transpired in the days leading up to their wedding in an exclusive interview.

When asked to say “no” at the altar, Bardha said, “It was probably the worst decision I’ve ever had to make.” That choice was not something I wanted to make.
I went to him after the wedding, and I said I wanted to keep trying. I wanted to make it work because I really loved him, you know.
She then stated, “He didn’t want to… I don’t know if he didn’t want to, but he didn’t try.” I was losing a battle.
“It won’t work if you two put in the effort, and it would have no purpose.”
Then Bardha went on to explain how a confrontation with Jed’s ex-partner had added to their animosity.

She claimed that after arguing with him for three weeks, he asked me to get his ex-girlfriend to stop wearing my ring.
And I kind of figured out that she was more important than I am, and I was like, “What am I doing?” Why do I want something that he obviously doesn’t want?
I left, and I returned the following day to pick up my belongings. Since then, I haven’t spoken to him again and have no desire to.
She continued, “I don’t care what he’s doing, who he’s with, if anyone,” adding, “I don’t care what he’s doing or who he’s with.”
He allegedly acted differently than I did; he was not who he claimed to be. I think I’ve made it, and I’m grateful for it.
She quipped, “I feel like it might have been my spleen that told me no, if I’m honest, but I listened and I’m so glad I made that decision,” using fellow contestant Patrick’s well-known catchphrase.
In addition, the drama-packed reunion episode revealed that Sarover, Kal, Ashleigh, and Billy had called it quits after getting married, while Megan and Kieran had continued to live together.
James almost backed away from Countdown once he realized how bad he was and how he would “get destroyed.”
Money and Lifestyle Assistant Editor Neil Shaw
James from Countdown
A man who has appeared on some of the biggest UK TV shows has revealed how he cheated on Countdown, nearly pulled out of the show at the last minute, and ended up being banned from The Chase. James Belshaw, a 46-year-old Surrey bus driver, has appeared on more than a dozen of the UK’s top video game shows, including Pointless, The Weakest Link, Tipping Point, and Lingo. He has applied for TV shows since 2010.
Speaking to Spin Genie, James said: “The first thing I applied for was a paper application for Weakest Link but I didn’t hear back for a while. I also applied for Countdown, that was my first online application – there’s no face to face audition for Countdown. It was done over the phone.
They told me, “Right, we’re going to play the game now, so play it honestly. Despite not being particularly good at Countdown, I believed I was superior. On my computer, I had my keyboard, an anagram solver, and number solver. I’ll admit that I cheated. “
James competes in a weekly gameshow.
They informed me that I was on, he continued. Manchester was the location of the film. When I got to my hotel in Manchester, I sat down on the bed, turned the TV on, and the countdown started playing. I just thought, “Oh my God, I’m not good at Countdown, why am I here?” after watching the entire episode. ’
I called my wife and then my girlfriend and said, “I’m going to bail, I’m rubbish. I’m going to be destroyed. She advised me to “no, go through with it because you’ve applied for other things if you show up and show up.” Many of these people are freelancers [working on TV]. You become more aware of the people I’ve met on these shows who I can’t remember but who also remember me from other sources.
People who use a lot of TV often have a tendency to be quite open-minded about the truth because they don’t want them to believe they’ve done too much. “
James’ first TV appearance was on Coach Trip, he claimed. “My wife and I used to watch it a lot. The first series was in 2005 or something, and I was moved on to 2010, where they both ended it. After that, I thought, “This is brilliant,” and we applied and went through all the hoops.
James on Lingo
Then I entered a position where I could apply for jobs. It used to be paper auditions, sending a form, and it was old-fashioned, but now it’s all online forms and Zoom, which is so much better because it makes people feel like they’re selling themselves, so they all have different strategies.
You really need to just turn it on when they get you to do a little piece of the camera, because some people just play a game based on the show. I believe my strategy was to apply for new shows that have never been on because they typically cast people who have done [TV] a little bit to get on shows.
“Quite a few of us actually exist. They are aware of our behavior on television and are aware that you won’t be like a Bullseye contestant from the 1980s, when I work in mines. I love watching all those old-fashioned contestants, and that is brilliant in and of itself. “
James and Alan Carr
James said one trick to help you get onto TV is having an interesting story. He said: “Me and my wife, we held the Guinness World Record for the longest kiss, and that was quite a popular story. But now that we’ve used it quite a few times, it’s probably less interesting. I think you can make an interesting story out of something quite mundane. If you think about what you like doing, there’s always some sort of quirk to it. If people go oh, so I like fishing, golf and breathing, you’ve got to really find an angle.”
However, he hasn’t always been successful, and one major performance would not allow him to. James responded, “I was cast on The Chase, I had a filming day, but they called me up and said, James, were you on Pointless?” Additionally, I didn’t include it on my form.

“I phoned my wife, then girlfriend, and I said, ‘I’m going to bail, I’m rubbish. I’m going to get destroyed’. James’s first TV outing was on Coach Trip, he said: “My wife and I used to watch it quite a lot. The first series was in 2005 or something, and then they cancelled it and brought it back in 2010 and I thought, ‘Let’s do that’. Then we applied and we jumped through all the hoops and then we got on it and after that I thought, this is brilliant.
James on Lingo
“Then I just got into a zone of applying for things. Back then, it was paper auditions, sending a form, it was old school, obviously now it’s all online forms and Zoom, which does take something away from the audition process, because it was so much better going into a room of all different people and watching how they behaved as well, because it does something to people, it’s like they’re selling themselves, so they’ve all got different tactics.
“Some people are on it the whole time, whereas, you really need to just turn it on when they get you to do a little piece of the camera, you just play a game based around the show. The reason I was so successful getting onto shows, I think, is because my tactic was to apply for new shows that have never been on because they tend to cast people who’ve done [TV] a bit.
“There’s quite a few of us actually. They can see how we behave on TV and they know you’re not gonna be like a Bullseye contestant from the 1980s where they’re all like, I work in the mines. That in itself is brilliant, I love Bullseye, I love watching all those old school style contestants.”

If you think about what you like doing, there’s always some sort of quirk to it. If people go oh, so I like fishing, golf and breathing, you’ve got to really find an angle.”
But he hasn’t always been succesful, and one huge show wouldn’t let him on. James said: “I was cast on The Chase, I had a filming day but they phoned me up and said, James, were you on Pointless? And I hadn’t put it on my form.

Afghanistan’s border with Pakistan has been struck by a magnitude 6 earthquake.
More than 800 people have died as a result of the disaster on Sunday night, according to the government. Rescue efforts have been hampered by debris and flooding.
What happened and why Afghanistan is prone to earthquakes are explained more here:
What transpired?
The earthquake shook eastern Afghanistan’s Nangarhar and Kunar provinces on Sunday at 11:47 PM (19:47 GMT). It trembled softly because it was 8 kilometers (5 miles) deep.
Because the earthquake’s epicenter and seismic waves are closer to Earth’s surface, smaller earthquakes typically cause more damage. Because they must travel farther to the surface, seismic waves from deep earthquakes lose energy.
A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck Nangarhar province just 20 minutes after the first earthquake, striking north of Basawul. Numerous tremors have fallen since then, ranging in size from 4.3 to 5.2, near the provincial capitals of Jalalabad and Basawul.
Where did the earthquake strike Afghanistan?
The initial earthquake was located 27 kilometers (17 miles) east of Jalalabad, near Kunar province, which is located just north of Nangarhar, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
East of Kabul, Jalalabad is 150 kilometers (93 miles). Because it is close to Pakistan, it is a significant trading hub. The municipality estimates that the city has about 300,000 residents.
The majority of the city’s buildings are low-rise, mostly made of concrete and brick, while the suburbs have mud brick and wood-built homes.
Jalalabad also produces agricultural products. Citrus trees and rice are grown there because the Kabul River passes through the city.
[Al Jazeera]
How many people have been injured and died?
According to Afghan government spokesman Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, the death toll is currently 812 and more than 3, 000 people have been injured.
As rescue efforts continue in the mountainous area, Zabihullah predicted that the casualties would increase.
What does an earthquake of magnitude 6 mean?
The Richter scale, which ranges from 1 to 10, is used to determine the intensity of earthquakes.
A magnitude 6 earthquake is regarded as powerful. Houses may suffer damage and objects may fall.
What do rescue efforts resemble?
According to Sharafat Zaman, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Health, rescue operations are underway and several villages have been destroyed.
According to an Afghan television network’s TOLOnews on Monday, “335 injured individuals were transported by helicopter to Nangarhar Regional Hospital.”
According to the state-run Bakhtar news agency, Kunar has received 30 doctors and 800 kg (1, 764lb) of medicine to assist hospitals that are overflowing with patients.
In a post on X  on Monday, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his “full solidarity with the Afghan people.”
Guterres continued, “The @UN team in Afghanistan is mobilized and will make no mistake about helping those in the affected areas.”
After the devastating earthquake that hit Afghanistan earlier today, I stand in full solidarity with its citizens.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and wish them a quick recovery.
The @UN team has mobilized in Afghanistan…
Iran has also provided aid in the world.
The Islamic Republic of Iran announces its full readiness to send relief, medical, and humanitarian aid in these challenging circumstances and great tragedy, according to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who spoke to the country’s Tasnim news agency.
What is preventing rescue efforts?
On Saturday, flash floods flooded Nangarhar province, destroying farms and roads.
According to Zakeria Shnizai, an earthquake geologist with the University of Oxford, “in Afghanistan, flooding has severely hampered rescue operations by blocking roads, destroying bridges, and isolating communities in the earthquake-affected area.”
“These difficulties have made it very difficult for emergency personnel to reach people who have been hurt or trapped under debris.” According to Shnizai, the use of heavy equipment has been restricted, and there is now a greater risk of landslides or rock avalanches.
He added that the delivery of essential supplies like food, water, and medical supplies has also become more difficult, leading to longer response times.
Afghan children who have been injured are being treated in a hospital in Jalalabad.
According to research, seasonal rains and weather conditions can increase earthquake-induced vulnerabilities by causing landslides, causing damage to access points, and causing communication disruptions, according to Abdullah Ansari, a research professor at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Oman.
“In the present case, floodwaters have obstructed important transportation corridors, stifling the flow of aid and putting down rescue teams. The interaction of seismic and hydrological hazards underscores Afghanistan’s need for multihazard preparedness measures to improve resilience.
Rescue efforts have been hampered by rocky terrain and debris from the earthquakes, in addition to the flash floods. The roads are not paved, they say. It’s very challenging to go there right now because of the earthquake, according to Al Jazeera’s Mohsin Momand from Kabul.
Evacuations and risk mitigation are impeded by limited resources, poor infrastructure, and a lack of comprehensive early warning systems, Ansari continued.
Are earthquakes common in Afghanistan?
The collision of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates, which causes frequent moderate to strong earthquakes, makes Afghanistan one of Central Asia’s most seismically active regions.
In Pakistan and Afghanistan recently, there has been seismic activity.
On August 27 and 19, respectively, magnitude 5. 6 and magnitude 5. 2 tremors struck Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region. On June 29, a magnitude 5. 5 earthquake in Central Pakistan was recorded, and on May 10 a magnitude 5. 7 quake was also recorded.
More than 2, 000 people were killed when an earthquake of magnitude 6.3 6.3 hit Afghanistan’s western province of Herat in 2023. Eastern Afghanistan’s Paktika, Paktia, Khost, and Nangarhar provinces were struck by a magnitude 6 earthquake in June 2022.
(Al Jazeera)
According to Shnizai, “the country and its surrounding regions are frequently characterized by significant crustal stress, which causes numerous faults and frequent seismic activity,” as a result of the plates’ ongoing convergence.
The Hindu Kush region’s Chaman, Herat, Kunar, Panjshir, Sarobi, and Spin Ghar faults are among the major fault systems that traverse the nation.
What is the most recent tidbit of information?
According to the Ministry of Public Works, the highway connecting Jalalabad to Kunar, which is at the center of the deadly earthquake, has been reopened for traffic.
According to ministry spokesman Mohammad Ashraf Haqshenas, many Kunar roads are still inaccessible as first responders work to clear rubble.
