A “warm and fashionable” trench coat that comes in two colors has been added to Myleene Klass’ brand-new fall collection with Freemans.

Nothing completes an outfit quite like a great coat, and with the temperatures dropping as we head into autumn, now is the perfect time to get your hands on one. To make it a little easier, Myleene Klass has just dropped her new fashion range with Freemans and it includes the perfect coat for autumn.

The LASCANA Lapel Collared Trench Coat is available in grey and sand for £115. The neutral tones give it a timeless, classic look that you can wear year after year while also making it simple to incorporate into your current wardrobe.

The perfect footwear for the inbetween seasons of autumn are Kate Middleton’s suede ballet flats.

Meghan Markle’s charm-enabled jewelry is a hot item on Netflix, read more.

The coat has a sophisticated and expensive textured finish that resembles a trench coat and an overcoat. It has slanted welt pockets on the side, a back slit, and traditional trench coat details like a flattering fit with a tie belt waist.

Its oversized collar and V-neckline also make it versatile with everything from knitwear to roll neck tops and blouses. The Lapel Collared Trench Coat fastens with two snap fastenings to keep you warm and cozy thanks to its longline calf-length fit.

It’s machine washable, which is a great help for light colored outerwear that can be challenging to keep clean, despite having a wool-style brushed finish. The plain print, according to Freemans, “continues to be classic trench style while still maintaining a touch of sophistication.” With this versatile coat, which will elevate any outfit, stay warm and fashionable.

Similar styles are available at New Look, with the Petite Cream Open Front Longline Belted Coat costing £59.99 in both cream and black colors. While H&amp, M has reduced the cost of its Brushed-Finish Twill Trench Coat from £69.99 to £49, though there are only available sizes.

Also at H&M is the Short Trench Coat which features all the classic trench coat features, just with a shorter hip-length hemline for £39.99. For more traditional trench coat options, M&S has the Cotton Rich Belted Longline Trench Coat for £79, whilst Mango’s Long Double-Breasted Trench Coat is £100.

However, Myleene’s Lapel Collared Trench Coat is a fantastic choice for those who want to change the traditional trench coat appearance. Although the brand-new release means there aren’t any reviews, it is still available in all eight to twenty, as stated by Freemans, “European sizing typically runs smaller than UK sizing.” For the ideal fit, we advise sizing up.

Back off talented Bethell and let him learn game – Agnew

JavaScript must be enabled in your browser to play this video.

Despite England’s series defeat against an impressive South Africa, it was really nice to see Jacob Bethell at Lord’s on Thursday with a smile on his face and scoring runs.

The 21-year-old has been subjected to a lot of pressure this summer, which is hardly fair, but at Lord’s he seemed to be really enjoying himself with 58 off 40 balls.

In his only international appearance of the summer, Bethell was dismissed after failing to score in his two previous matches against Headingley on Tuesday and at The Oval in a crucial moment.

He struggled in The Hundred, where it became clear that he was receiving hefty criticism from the opposition and rants about being England’s “Golden Boy,” which was cruel.

Someone should step back a little, Bethell. Even Sachin Tendulkar had to travel and work on his game. Everyone does, too.

Without that knowledge, no one can expect to enter the international game, and no one can prepare for that without playing a lot of cricket.

In some situations, you’ll be aware of your game’s structure and play style.

I’m not suggesting that England should not select Bethell. But let him play because he’s all about it when he’s a youngster.

Why did they select him to lead the T20 tour of Ireland, in my opinion?

Because anything can happen in T20 games, I sincerely hope it doesn’t go wrong.

Rob Key’s comments about Bethell’s leadership qualities, in my opinion, are somewhat absurd.

What leadership qualities might he have demonstrated if, as the Test team’s 12th man, he has been carrying drinks all summer without playing for Warwickshire?

England seeks for important balance

England needs a fifth bowler to help them balance their side.

Without an all-rounder, which this team lack, it is very difficult.

I liked Bethell’s bat-assisted innings, but he and Will Jacks combined to give up 112 runs in 10 overs.

You can’t just play around with part-time bowlers for ten overs, and you can’t even start bowling them at the end of the innings.

By that point, batters are ready, and South Africa’s middle order is pretty brutal.

England were concerned about the breadth of their batting, so they included Jacks at number seven in response to how they batted at Headingley.

Sonny Baker, who had a difficult debut, was dropped for the second ODI because of the team’s composition.

Although Baker was very expensive in Leeds, you can always pick him again 48 hours later if you already have a teammate from two days ago.

Everyone has a right to feel nervous about their debut. Headingley’s pitch was excellent, and the outfield was very quick.

When the first innings started, the ball was moving around at Lord’s. After England won the toss and decided to field, that gave Baker an opportunity to see what he could do.

Since winning the Champions Trophy, has England made progress?

We made the key point about England’s Champions Trophy campaign in February by stating that they lack the ability to play 50-over cricket.

They hardly ever play it; that is not entirely their fault. These players are almost entirely T20 players right now, but 50-over cricket is a completely different game.

You practice the game format, and you can learn to rebuild your innings, like South Africa did at Lord’s.

When losing quick wickets, England’s players must learn how to pace it and how to restructure it.

Not much has changed in the Champions Trophy mindset over the past two performances.

Yes, West Indies was a weak team, but England did defeat them 3-1.

England’s 50-over game is much better suited for this series against South Africa, which also has some improvement.

Because of their connection to World Cup qualification, these one-day series are significant. The humiliating situation of having to compete against the likes of the Netherlands, Scotland, and the United States could put England in the best possible light.

The top eight, along with hosts South Africa and Zimbabwe, are automatically eligible for the 14-team tournament because they are eighth in the International Cricket Council’s one-day standings, which govern eligibility.

Because England will play a tough series in New Zealand following the South Africa series and the T20 tour of Ireland, it is not in a good position.

It will be difficult for them to concentrate on that one-day series because the Ashes are coming up a few weeks later.

Western troops in Ukraine would be ‘targets’ for Russian forces: Putin

Vladimir Putin, the president’s representative, warned that any foreign troops stationed in the neighboring nation would be Russia’s military’s “legitimate target.” He has rejected Western security guarantees for Ukraine.

In the event of a hoped-for peace deal between Moscow and Kyiv, hundreds of nations pledged to send troops there on Friday as a security guarantee.

If President Donald Trump’s efforts to broker that peace are unsuccessful, 26 states agreed at a summit of the “coalition of the willing” on Thursday to provide forces to deter Russia from further aggression. The United States’ commitment, which is viewed as essential to any such security arrangement, is still a mystery.

At the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Putin stated that if some troops showed up, especially now that they are engaged in fighting, they would likely be legitimate targets. This was a move that came after the Russian president made a public display of close ties with China and North Korea.

Putin reaffirmed his claim that Ukraine’s closer military ties with the West are one of the “root causes” of the conflict, which started in February 2022 when Russian forces launched an invasion and stated that the deployment of foreign troops would not promote long-term peace.

Putin said, “I simply do not see any sense in their presence on the territory of Ukraine, full stop, if decisions are made that lead to peace, to long-term peace.”

Separately, Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman, stated that the Paris summit proposal was “definitely not” acceptable.

The presence of NATO forces, foreign forces, or international forces on Ukrainian soil, he said, “would be considered a threat to ourselves,” he said to reporters.

Peskov instead asserted that all necessary security guarantees for Ukraine were included in the terms of the 2022 peace negotiations in Istanbul.

Ukraine would abandon NATO goals and establish a neutral, nuclear-free status under the Istanbul framework. It would also receive security assurances from France, the US, Russia, China, and Britain.

However, the Paris summit proposal stated that any future agreement must be enforced by a “reassurance” force to patrol in Ukraine under the leadership of France and Britain.

Russia has previously violated numerous agreements with Ukraine and the West, including one that involved separatists fighting Kyiv’s army in the east between 2014 and 2022.

Uncertain

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, hosted the Paris summit, while other countries, such as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, took the initiative remotely.

After Trump and Putin had direct talks, the meeting stoked concerns that Macron is ready to accept Kremlin accounts of the conflict and its demands for a ceasefire. He led the charge to demonstrate that Europe can act independently of the US.

Therefore, it’s uncertain whether the US will be involved in the Paris proposal.

Trump has previously stated that Washington may provide additional support, such as air power, but won’t deploy troops there.

Putin stated on Friday that both Russia and Ukraine need security guarantees.

Russia will, of course, carry out these agreements, I repeat. However, no one has yet had a serious discussion about this with us.

Trent Alexander-Arnold joins Calvin Klein FC squad with smouldering pants shoot

One expert explains why the pairing of footballers and pants is so lucrative. Trent Alexander-Arnold is the latest in a long line of footballers to strip down for Calvin Klein underwear campaigns.

The legendary football team Calvin Klein FC has transformed their underwear from stripping down to their, um, packets.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, a Liverpool star turned Real Madrid ace, has just made his latest move for the club’s new autumn campaign. He joins a long line of the best players in the game who have modelled for CK over the years.

Leah Williamson and Chloe Kelly, both of whom were celebrities for the label, as did US legend Alex Morgan in the Calvins or Nothing campaign last year.

In the 2000s, giant billboards featuring Freddie Ljungberg in Y-fronts set the barrage for the Arsenal midfielder.

Since then, underwear and football have become synonymous, with names like Ronaldo and David Beckham following.

In 1982, when an image of Brazilian pole vaulter Tom Hintnaus appeared in New York’s Times Square, Calvin Klein first drew attention to a well-known sports star in tight whites.

After the initial outcry was over, the advertisement became a huge hit, making CK’s branded underwear a necessary item.

Footballers and pants is a match made in heaven, according to advertising guru Paul Hutton, the director of Inter Regional Public Relations and Four Agency.

He claims that Calvin Klein’s formula for getting footballers to model underwear successfully combines aspiration, mass appeal, and athleticism. Footballers are known for their outstanding physical performance and reputation, but they also have a relatable edge. Fans view them as both icons and “everymen.” That trio “sells.”

The deals are also pricey in the packets. All Star Sports, the business that Alexander-Arnold founded, has assets worth about £8.5 million from sponsorship and image rights deals.

Striker Russo signs new long-term Arsenal deal

Alessia Russo, the England international, has agreed to a new, long-term deal with Arsenal.

Since moving to Manchester United in 2023, the 26-year-old has scored 36 goals in 72 games.

Russo remarked, “Arsenal feels like home.” I’ve been a member of this club for two years, and it has felt that way to me.

Russo assisted Arsenal in winning the Champions League in May and scored in the Euro 2025 final with a winning title defense.

She continued, “I’m still so hungry for more success, and I know that everyone at the club shares my desire.” I’m eager to begin this season.

Russo and Khadija Shaw shared the Golden Boot with Manchester City’s striker Khadija Shaw in the 21 Women’s Super League games that year.

Russo was named in the Professional Footballers’ Association and the Uefa Champions League teams of the year and nominated for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

Renee Slegers, the head coach of Arsenal, stated, “Alessia is a really important member of our group, and I’m so happy that she has accepted a new deal here.”

Alessia frequently shines in Alessia’s goals, but she also contributes a lot to our organization.
