Married couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham put on a loved-up display whilst on vacation together. They were seen cuddled up onboard a yacht this week whilst enjoying a trip abroad with some of their family and pals.

David, 50, and Victoria, 51, who have been together for almost 30 years, have been on a summer holiday to St. Tropez with some of their children lately. The group have been spotted soaking up the sun on the trip to France this week.

The couple were seen putting on an affectionate display whilst onboard their yacht on Wednesday as their time off the coast continued. It comes after Cruz Beckham ‘steals’ his dad’s tiny white trunks and family have epic response.

As his wife Victoria pushed him, David was seen lying on a deck chair on the boat. At one point during the excursion, the couple was spotted embracing on the yacht’s top deck, where their arms were gathered around each other.

David, a retired football player, donned no shirt and took a pair of green swimming trunks that he had also modelled in an outdoor shower while on the road. When she cosied up to him, former Spice Girls member Victoria instead wore a black gymsuit.

David and Victoria have spent time with family and friends on the yacht this week. They are understood to have been joined by their youngest children Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 14, on the vacation.

The couple, who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year, have also welcomed the likes of Gordon Ramsay, 58, and his wife Tana Ramsay, 50, onboard. Victoria’s pal Eva Longoria, 50, was also spotted on the boat this week.

The Beckhams’ trip to St. Tropez comes shortly after their son Brooklyn Beckham, 26, was in the coastal resort with his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, and his in-laws. It’s been teased that the families narrowly avoided running into each other.

Brooklyn spent time with his in-laws, including Nicola’s father Nelson Peltz, 83, on their trip abroad. It comes amid speculation that he “doesn’t really feel like he fits into” his own family at the moment amid rumours of a rift.

In recent months, there’s said to have been tension between Brooklyn and his parents. Earlier this year, there was said to be “distance” between them and it was recently reported that Sir Elton John, 78, has acted as “peacemaker”.

Family friend Elton is said to have caught up with Brooklyn, who is his godson, and Nicola for lunch in Cannes whilst the couple were on their holiday to France last month. A source told the Sun: “[Elton’s] utterly neutral in this row.”

According to them, “Elton and]his husband] David feel awfully sad about the situation and gently advise everyone involved that life is short and that things need to be fixed.” However, the group had a “really fun long lunch,” according to the source, adding that they also discussed a lot of other, much more lighthearted topics.

Paqueta ‘committed’ to West Ham but Antonio will not be in squad

Lucas Paqueta, who was cleared of spot-fixing charges, is a West Ham player, according to Graham Potter, who has since said Michail Antonio will not play in his squad this year.

The Brazil international was cleared of being intentionally booked by the Football Association after almost two years after the Football Association began its investigation.

The 27-year-old had been subject to a lifetime ban.

Paqueta had a strong connection to a move to Manchester City when the FA began its investigation.

West Ham fans are concerned that the playmaker might be lured away because the transfer window won’t close until September 1st.

Potter, however, has a more positive outlook on the situation.

“But the news is incredibly encouraging,” she continued. There would have been a whole new line of questions if things had turned the other way.

Lucas is content and committed. We cherish him because he is a significant member of the club’s dressing room and club. We just want to make sure he enjoys playing football.

“You can imagine that having to defend those allegations was a tremendous challenge for him,” he said. His life and career have been through a lot of upheaval.

He and his family and everyone who has backed him have a lot of praise for how far he has come.

It is unknown whether Paqueta will file legal action against the FA because the written justifications are yet to be released.

Antonio appears to be in line with Potter’s plans at the moment.

When asked if the 35-year-old would be a part of his squad for the upcoming campaign following the signing of another veteran frontman and Antonio’s former podcast partner, Callum Wilson, Potter simply responded, “No.

The club announced last month that no formal decisions had been made regarding the player whose contract expired at the end of the month.

The club’s top priority at this time is to support Michail personally as he re-enters the game at the highest level, according to a statement from the club.

Before Potter’s response, there hadn’t been any updates on that.

Antonio made a play-back appearance for Jamaica during this summer’s Concacaf Gold Cup after recovering from his horrific car crash in December.

Syrian government, Kurdish-led SDF trade blame over northern Syria attack

Four army personnel and three civilians were hurt when the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched a rocket attack on a military post in northern Syria, according to Syria’s Ministry of Defense.

The ministry claimed that the military was able to halt the attack in Manbij’s countryside in a statement released by Syria’s official SANA news agency.

The ministry stated in a later statement that the military was carrying out “precise strikes” that “the army forces are working to deal with the sources of fire that targeted the civilian villages near the deployment lines.”

However, the SDF, which is supported by the US, claimed in a statement that it was responding to an “unprovoked artillery assault” by rebel groups operating within the Syrian government ranks.

No casualties were mentioned in the statement.

The SDF and Syria’s new interim government reached a deal in March to integrate into state institutions, which led to the incident.

The SDF has been in charge of a semi-autonomous region of Syria’s northeast since 2015, and if it is implemented, the agreement will give it full control over the country’s central government, led by interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa.

The lightning rebel offensive that sacked Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in December of last year was led by Al-Sharaa.

Since the uprising of al-Assad, there have been discussions about integrating the SDF into the Syrian state, but they have been hampered by divisions created by civil war.

The SDF and Syrian armed forces’ merger was not specified in the March agreement.

Damascus wants its forces to join as individuals, whereas the SDF has previously stated that they must unite.

Canadian wildfire smoke triggers air quality alerts in US

In the United States, smoke from wildfires burning in Canada has triggered air quality alerts over the border.

On Saturday, several wildfires raged throughout Canada, sending smoke spouting over several states in the Midwest and bringing out health warnings for at least the third day.

Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, as well as eastern Nebraska and parts of Indiana and Illinois, all had air quality alerts in place in the US.

Minneapolis, Minnesota, had some of the worst air pollution in the world since Friday, according to a report from the Swiss-based air quality monitoring organization IQAir.

In a sizable portion of Minnesota, the Air Quality Index (AQI), a system used to determine how much air pollution is present, is expected to fall into the red or unhealthy category through Saturday.

According to Joe Strus, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area, “we’ve sort of been dealing with this, day in and day out,” “when you walk outside, you can taste the smoke and you can smell it.”

Forecasters warned that smoky skies would cover the Midwest for the majority of Saturday, but they might start to fade before extending south to Tennessee and Missouri.

People with lung and heart conditions, as well as children, the elderly, and pregnant women, are particularly at risk from the poor air quality.

Wildfires in Canada have not been the only triggers of air quality warnings in the US and other countries. A record-breaking early wildfire season in 2023 swept northern Europe across the Atlantic.

The Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre reported “out-of-control” fires on Saturday in Yukon and the Northwest Territories as well as in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.

According to the center, there were 717 fires nationwide.

According to a report released by The Canadian Press news agency, Environment Canada reported “extremely high” levels of air pollution were present in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and the Northwest Territories.

Although health risks were reportedly lower, areas in British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec were also being monitored for air quality.

Strictly ‘cocaine scandal’ as investigation launched into alleged on-set drug use

According to reports, Strictly Come Dancing has begun an investigation into allegations that two of its stars allegedly drank cocaine. To investigate the allegations, the BBC has engaged the legal firm Pinsent Masons.

Cocaine scandal rocked BBC Strictly Come Dancing: An investigation reportedly began into star drug use allegations.

The BBC has reportedly enlisted the services of a top legal firm to investigate accusations of cocaine use by two Strictly Come Dancing stars, with reports suggesting their substance abuse was an open secret on the show.

According to reports this evening, former participants, professional dancers, and crew members have been invited to speak with the attorneys at Pinsent Masons to discuss any issues they might have.

The long-running BBC series, which has been plagued with multiple scandals over recent years, is now embroiled in controversy following drug use claims submitted to the BBC in March by Russells Solicitors on behalf of a celebrity contestant.

According to some sources, additional individuals have reportedly brought up allegations of drug use on Strictly Come Dancing with the BBC.

In a statement shared with the Mirror this evening, a representative for the BBC said: “We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns. It would not be appropriate for us to comment further.”

According to The Sun, one of the allegations centers on a Strictly star who allegedly made a comment about another person’s dilated pupils, implying drug use, by saying, “Have you seen their pupils… they’re off their face.”

Additionally, a celebrity claimed that two stars were using cocaine, a subject that was reportedly frowned upon by the cast, making it known in The Sun.

These assertions are “extremely serious,” according to a source. It seems particularly revolting given that the BBC Director-General promised to clean things up Strictly only last year. The concept of the show’s stars talking about taking drugs is incredibly unsettling. The BBC acknowledged receiving these allegations for a while and is aware of them.

The state-funded broadcaster is reportedly “taking firm action” according to reports.
