Ademola Lookman Submits Transfer Request, Accuses Atalanta Of Broken Promises

Despite years of commitment, Ademola Lookman has formally requested a transfer to Atalanta, accusing the Serie A side of breaking promises and treating him poorly.

The Nigerian international expressed his frustration over the club’s alleged failure to honor a mutual agreement to let him leave if a fair offer was made in a statement posted on Instagram on Sunday.

“Sadly, the club are blocking the opportunity for reasons I do not understand, despite having received an offer that is in line with what I believe had been discussed.” In the past, numerous clubs have contacted Atalanta, and I have always had a strong commitment.

I feel like I have no choice but to speak out because of all the promises I’ve made and the poor treatment I’ve received from both as a person and as a professional footballer. I can confirm that I have now submitted a formal transfer request, Lookman wrote.

Lookman has excelled for Atalanta since joining in 2022, most recently contributing to their UEFA Europa League victory.

He claimed in his time with Bergamo that he had given the team and supporters “absolutely everything.”

I’ve always tried to represent this club and Bergamo with heart, passion, and dedication while wearing the shirt with pride. One of the most proudest moments of my career so far was winning the Europa League and standing shoulder to shoulder with my teammates in Dublin that night, he said.

The Nigerian international player praised Atalanta as a club that made him feel like he was his own, highlighting the emotional bond he developed with supporters.

“This place has always felt like home, and I’ve always made an effort to repay that love, even when things haven’t been as easy as it has been in the background.

I’ve always tried to put the club, the fans, and the team first, he said, “Even though the very difficult moments I’ve endured, many of which have remained private and confidential. I regret that I now feel like there is little choice,” he said.

The 26-year-old admitted that despite receiving interest from other clubs, he had previously remained loyal despite saying that Atalanta’s management and he had come to terms with the decision to leave.

The player stated that if a fair offer came in, the club would allow me to move and that both myself and the club’s owners had come to terms with this.

Lookman apologized directly to the fans and stated that he still hopes to work with the club to arrive at a peaceful solution.

I want to tell the fans, who are the club’s heart, that I’m truly sorry that this has happened. I hope you are able to comprehend this extremely challenging situation. Simply put, it’s about fighting for what I think is just and right. He stated that he intends to work with the club to arrive at an amicable solution for all parties as soon as possible.

Lookman made his Serie A debut with a $ 15 million signing for Atalanta in August 2022. The club won the UEFA Europa League in 2023–24 thanks to his performances.

Norris sees off late Piastri attack to win in Hungary

Lando Norris won the Hungarian Grand Prix after Oscar Piastri, a McLaren teammate, came in late to fend off an early attack.

With the two title rivals using different strategies, Norris’ controlled, defensive drive in a tight race reduces his championship deficit to nine points heading into Formula 1’s summer break.

In the final stages, George Russell of Mercedes came out on top, passing Charles Leclerc, as the Ferrari slipped out of contention.

After falling in fifth place on the opening lap, Norris resurrected using a bold one-stop strategy.

With five laps left, Piastri was forced to turn around and come back to him on new tires in the closing stages, leaving him with a tail-butted.

At Turn One, Piastri made two daring dives for Norris’ interior, but the move fell too far back on a track known for being challenging to overtake.

Fernando Alonso used a one-stop approach and masterfully raced to finish fifth overall, which is his and Aston Martin’s best season result.

In his Sauber, his protégé Gabriel Bortoleto did the same and came in sixth.

How Norris’ victory in Hungary came to pass.

After the first corner, Norris’ hopes of winning appeared to have waned when he attempted to pass Piastri into the first corner before being forced onto a tight inside line, allowing Russell and Alonso to pass him.

Norris was put on the back foot because overtaking was so challenging.

Leclerc, who had held the lead off the line, was in second place in the standings. Russell finished ahead of Norris, who had just a few seconds to go before Alonso’s Aston Martin.

Leclerc was 2.5 seconds ahead of Piastri when McLaren pitted the Australian at this point, making it seem like they were in control.

Leclerc responded on the following lap with ease and was successful in keeping the position. The idea was to “undercut” the Ferrari.

Norris made the decision at this point to extend in order to offset his own tires, and the plan expanded to include a one-stop.

Norris said, “I didn’t believe it would give us the win,” and that I was aware that it might put us in the lead. I was confident that if there was more fresh air and a little pressure, it might work.

Norris completed his stint on a set of hard tyres in 39 laps, which was extended to lap 31. Andrea Stella, the team’s principal, stated that Norris could achieve the goal because they were initially unsure whether the strategy would work.

Piastri and his engineer negotiated their position at this point, second between the two McLarens, saying he would prefer to bias his approach to give himself the best chance to defeat Norris, and that he didn’t care about the Ferrari.

Leclerc made his second stop on lap 40, while Piastri waited for his five more laps to gain the most control over Norris.

With 19 laps to go, Piastri returned to the track and swept around Leclerc’s tyres to take second place, closing the nine-second gap to Norris, while avoiding taking too much of his tire pressure.

With five laps left, he was within range of the DRS overtaking aid, but Norris managed to keep him at bay.

” I’m dead, “Norris said”. It was difficult. At first, we weren’t really planning on doing the one-stop, but after the first lap, we were kind of the only ones who could get back into things.

“I was pushing out the entire time with Oscar catching me.” Rewarding for that, and today’s ideal outcome.

Piastri remarked, “I pushed as hard as I could.” I knew I would have to overtake Lando on the track, which is much easier said than done here. Simply put, we were on the wrong side of it today.

Leclerc, the polesitter, what happened to her?

Leclerc complained about some sort of issue and claimed that they should have listened to him before the race, and he railed at his team for how they had run the race in the final stint.

Team principal Frederic Vasseur said that made a comment about energy management in the hybrid system. Leclerc’s pace then dramatically decreased in the final two frames, giving him a greater sense of vulnerability.

After his pit stop, Vasseur claimed that he had a problem with his car, and he was unsure as to what caused it.

With ten laps left, Russell stopped for the final time and closed in on the Ferrari.

With nine laps left, Russell made a second attempt and complained that Leclerc was moving while braking. He complained about Leclerc’s driving once more and the Ferrari driver was given a five-second penalty for erratic driving.

Alonso kept his tyres in tact while the car was fueled up in the early laps, keeping up with the rest of the field.

He then increased his pace to close the gap left by Bortoleto, stopped at lap 39, and waited until the finish line.

Aston Martin moves up to sixth place in the constructors’ championship, one point ahead of Sauber, with team-mate Lance Stroll’s similarly driven drive to seventh place.

Naked Attraction host Anna Richardson gives update on show’s future after Channel 4 axe

Before wrapping up last year, Naked Attraction quickly gained popularity on our screens in 2016 and quickly rose to prominence.

Naked Attraction star Anna Richardson has given an update on the show’s future after a year off air. The Channel 4 programmes sees every day people take their kit off in a bid to find love.

One person is met with several naked figures and have to choose who they want to go on a date with without seeing their faces or even chatting first. The controversial programme first landed on our screens back in 2016 but came to an end last year.

Before it ended in March of last year, 65 episodes were broadcast across seven different shows. Many fans have been anticipating that the program will simply be taking a break and will return at some point.

Anna expressed her hope that Naked Attraction will return to our screens once more in a letter to the Daily Mail. She expressed her desire for it to return.

I want a campaign that basically reads, “Bring back Naked Attraction!” It has a lot of fans. It is adored by everyone. It’s humorous. It involves embracing others.

“And I think at the moment, in a world where we’re all actually a bit p***ed off and we feel ground down in this country, you know, there’s a huge amount of division and anger. I think Naked Attraction brings a bit of levity.

In the midst of “fall from grace,” Molly-Mae Hague claims to “can’t understand what she’s done wrong.”

Wynne Evans of Strictly Come Dancing breaks up with her fiancée weeks after making the proposal.

I have no idea whether it’s coming back, which is true. Let’s keep our fingers crossed because it’s a fun show to do and does very well, but I don’t know whether it’s politically correct, so I’m hoping it’s.

Nine years ago, the show first aired on television. While the various colored pods are present, Anna assists the single person in deciding who they want to date.

While the single person returns one person home each time, those who are in the pods reveal a different body part during each round.

They finally reveal their faces at the conclusion, and the lone person also removes their clothing. When they put their clothes back on and go on a date together, a final person is then chosen.

Anna said she thinks Naked Attraction has opened the door to other contentious dating shows. Everyone had a breakdown when Naked Attraction was revealed, she claimed, which was “crazy.” And, you’re aware of it, the press absolutely went crazy saying, “This is a new low for British television’s new low and moral standards.”

“And of course, we were trailblazers,” he continued, “and we’ve made it easier for things to be discussed, discussed, and more accepting.”

Lookman accuses Atalanta of ‘broken promises’

Ademola Lookman, a winger from Nigeria, claims he has requested a transfer from Atalanta after being accused of “breaking promises” by the club.

The 27-year-old, who is reportedly a target for Serie A rivals Inter Milan, claimed to have reached a deal with the club’s board to let him leave if a “fair” offer were made this summer.

The England-born winger claims Atalanta broke its promise after receiving an offer that “achieved what I believe had been discussed” but that it was not.

Lookman wrote on social media that “I feel like I have no choice but to speak out for what I think is right.”

For reasons I do not understand, Lookman claimed Atalanta were “blocking the opportunity” for him to leave the club.

In 2022, the Nigerian international left RB Leipzig for Atalanta.

In Dublin’s Europa League final match against Bayer Leverkusen in 2024, he scored his first career hat-trick.

In 117 games for the Italian side, Lookman has scored 52 goals.
