Former Celebrity Big Brother co-stars Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa paid tribute to each other in posts shared this week. It comes after the dancer’s ex-partner Kath Ebbs went public with their own new romance just a few days ago.

Chris, 32, and JoJo, 22, rekindled their relationship while appearing on the reality TV program in April. Following the announcement, JoJo revealed that she had dumped her 27-year-old partner at the afterparty, and JoJo has kept fans informed about her ongoing relationship with Chris.

The couple have given fans insights into their life together in recent months and this week teased that singer JoJo is now officially the former Love Island star’s ‘girlfriend’. It comes after Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones split as he joins a notorious dating app on a lads’ holiday.

JoJo and her partner posted about their relationship yesterday to mark National Girlfriends Day, which is said to be about friendship, but is also considered by some to be a holiday for couples and romantic relationships. Chris shared a photo on Instagram that showed them cosied up together, with him writing in the caption of the post: “This is my GF.”

Chris shared a series of posts on Snapchat for the occasion too, including him having uploaded several photos of the pair together. Alongside one of the photos, he wrote in a caption: “National GF day so here so is, my universe.”

JoJo also shared the occasion’s celebrations on social media. She wrote in a post on Instagram earlier this week, “Happy National girlfriends Day to me,” over a picture of Chris cuddling up with her on a sofa. She continued, “Lucky lucky girl I am.”

The posts follow JoJo’s ex-partner Kath’s public debut of their new relationship on Thursday. Following their split from JoJo in April, they announced on Instagram that they were now dating Tilly Lucas-Rodd, 29.

In a photo that depicted them playing in a photobooth, Kath showed how loved-up with Tilly, who plays in the Australian Football League’s AFL Women’s division. Kath shared it on the platform along with a love-themed caption.

Kath appeared to be comparing their dating experience to JoJo’s, along with the photo. They wrote to their followers in the caption that came with the photo two days ago: “The rumors are true! I do still (insanity) think in love! “!

Fans expressed excitement in the comments section of Kath’s post, which has now amassed almost 20 000 likes. “Ah yes! ! “, one wrote. Things that we adore to see”! Another remarked, “The happy ending you deserve (and we all desired)! )”.

The news comes just months after Kath announced that JoJo had dumped them at a Celebrity Big Brother afterparty in April. Kath said: “I flew here and I went to the live show to show up for my partner and support them in their experience and then obviously later on address my feelings of like hurt and work through them like all relationships do.”

Kath continued, “I was dumped in the party. I was informed that there were ‘confused feelings’ there, which you can express as you will, and that they realized that I wasn’t the person they wanted to spend the [foresee]with.

JoJo addressed the situation on This Morning shortly afterwards, saying: “That was not a plan. That was not an intention. That was not supposed to happen like that. Initially I was told that y’know the wrap party was something they didn’t want to attend.”

They then made a decision about an hour into the wrap party, she continued. And so it only seemed like we were going to have a conversation before it just escalated. I responded, “No,” when they immediately inquired whether I was happy. And there was a conversation that did occur there as a result of one thing leading to another.

EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy ‘bricking it’ as she admits weakness ahead of new TV show

Natalie Cassidy, a former EastEnders star, is one of the contestants in the new season of Cooking with the Stars. Sonia Fowler, who portrayed her in the EastEnders, left Walford in April.

Former EastEnders cast member Natalie Cassidy has been “bricking it” over her latest TV project, which is scheduled to launch later this weekend. The actor has teased that she pushed herself out of her comfort zone for the experience.

Natalie, 42, announced earlier that year that she would be leaving the BBC soap opera. Her character Sonia Fowler, who first appeared in 1993, then left Walford in scenes that aired back in April, with her seen embarking on a new life abroad with her two children and her sister Bianca Jackson.

Following her departure, it was revealed that Natalie will appear on the new series of ITV’s Cooking with the Stars and she’s spoken about feeling nervous ahead of the launch. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show.

Natalie, who has been mentored by professional chef Tony Singh for the show, said that she “loves” cooking at home. The actor however spoke to WhatToWatch recently about how the experience differed from that.

She recalls using vegetable stock when practicing at home rather than vegetable oil. The outlet then continued, “This ball game is completely different from what I’m used to doing, but usually I’m cooking with a glass of wine, listening to the radio, and relaxing with a cup of wine while washing the kids.”

You have a recipe, Natalie said, and you have no time to think about it at all. She made the comments while discussing one of Sonia’s employment on EastEnders: “I need to produce high-end grub and I’m bricking it”!

She also explained that she wanted to improve her culinary skills and that her “staples” include spaghetti and roast dinners. They are “good basics,” according to Natalie, but the competition show also offered new insights into herbs, spices, and various cultures.

The former soap star claimed to “impress” her two kids in the kitchen. Natalie teased her by revealing that she also hoped to learn where the chefs “go to eat” and that she wants to find a list of restaurants and “hidden gems”

Natalie revealed both her weaknesses and strengths in the Cooking with the Stars competition component while speaking to the outlet. Celebrities compete in the kitchen before being judged in the finale of the show.

Being “organized” is one of her qualities, Natalie said. She expressed her dislike for “lateness,” adding that she is “very aware of time,” which she hoped would help with her cooking timings on the show.

The “chopping side of things” is then acknowledged as her weakness. Because the actor is an “Awkward Annie,” Natalie told the outlet that close friends frequently offer to take over chopping boards if they are positioned next to her in the kitchen.

Cooking with the Stars airs on ITV, ITVX, STV, and STVPlayer starting at 7 p.m. tomorrow night.

Over 90% of Nigerian Mothers Breastfeed Their Children —UNICEF

Nemat Hajeebhoy, the UNICEF Abuja office’s chief of nutrition, is pleased that more than 90% of Nigerian mothers breastfeed their children.

She made the comment on Friday when World Breastfeeding Week was being launched in Ambursa, the Kebbi Local Government Area. The purpose of the event was to encourage breastfeeding mothers to embrace exclusive breastfeeding.

By creating a sustainable support system for each mother and every child in Nigeria, Hajeebhoy said, “We are gathered here for one mission, and that is to put mothers and babies first.”

Breastfeeding is a newborn’s first vaccine and a crucial means of survival, not just food. Nigeria is a signatory to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which consacres the right to breastfeed.

“First, I want to share some positive news. Mothers, I appreciate you breastfeeding. Nigerian mothers breastfeed more than 90% of the time. I want to congratulate the mothers.

Despite this encouraging figure, she pointed out that some recent surveys show a decline in nursing mothers’ exclusive breastfeeding. She therefore emphasized the need for all parties involved to support mothers in carrying out their responsibilities.

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State commended the governor for approving six months of maternity leave for employees, describing it as a brave move. Breastfeeding is a crucial step in protecting children’s health and future, according to her.

Nafisa Nasir-Idris, the wife of Kebbi State Governor, also addressed the audience and urged women to practice exclusive breastfeeding to promote a more healthy society. She cited its advantages, noting that it strengthens a child’s intelligence, wisdom, and agility.

She also urged women to keep personal and environmental hygiene up to date to stop illness outbreaks.

The governor’s wife praised her husband for putting health issues first in the state and supporting her health-related initiatives.

Read more about Kaduna’s plan to pass a law allowing working mothers to breastfeed for six months without paying.

Yunusa Musa Isma’il, the commissioner for health, praised development partners for their contributions to various programs, particularly those in the health sector, during a speech at the event. He expressed his willingness to work with the state government by offering counterpart funding to combat malnourishment and other health issues.

Halima Hassan-Kamba, the commissioner for women’s affairs, also praised Kebbi women for embracing exclusive breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding benefits children’s health and intelligence, strengthens mother-child bonds, lowers cancer risk, supports family planning, and gives mothers satisfaction, she said.

Michael Juma, the UNICEF’s Director of Field Office, earlier stressed the value of introducing breastfeeding early. He urged mothers to prioritize breastfeeding for at least the first two years of a child’s life and urged policymakers to give breastfeeding-related issues more attention.

The governor’s wife gave packages containing a bag of rice, a pair of children’s clothing, and $10,000 to 20 women who exclusively breastfed their babies in order to support and encourage breastfeeding.

Hamas denies it expressed willingness to disarm, slams Witkoff’s Gaza trip

Hamas has refuted reports that it is ready to disarm while Israel and Gaza are negotiating a ceasefire, insisting that it has the “national and legal” right to protest Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory.

The Palestinian organization responded on Saturday to comments made by Steve Witkoff, the special representative of US President Donald Trump, during a meeting with Israeli prisoners’ families in Gaza.

According to an interview with Haaretz, the US envoy told the families that Hamas had stated that it was “prepared to be demilitarized.”

Hamas claimed in a statement that “the resistance and its weapons are a national and legal right as long as the Israeli occupation continues.”

That right, according to the statement, “cannot be relinquished until our full national rights are restored, particularly the establishment of a Palestinian state that is fully independent and sovereign with Jerusalem as its capital.”

One day after visiting a US and Israeli-backed aid distribution facility run by the contentious GHF in Gaza, Witkoff met the captive Israelis’ families in Tel Aviv on Saturday.

Prior to the US envoy’s trip, Hamas had criticized the US envoy’s portrayal of a “staged show” intended to deceive the public into thinking the area’s residents were “in the dark” about the situation there, where an Israeli blockade has caused a starvation crisis and sparked international outcry.

Since GHF-operated in the bombarded Palestinian territory in May, more than 1,300 Palestinians have died trying to get food at GHF-run sites, according to a statement released earlier this week.

Despite the more frequent and unfavorable criticism of GHF’s operations in Gaza, the Trump administration has steadfastly supported the organization. Washington announced in June that it had approved funding for GHF in the amount of $30 million.

In addition to the widening international push to recognize a Palestinian state amid the scenes of starvation in Gaza, Witkoff’s remarks on disarmament come at a time when there is a growing hunger in the world.

This week, the United Kingdom made the announcement that it might recognize a Palestinian state as the country’s response to France’s two-day UN conference in New York.

Foreign Secretary David Lammy reiterated earlier that Israel would proceed with recognition if it violated a ceasefire in Gaza, in response to a statement made by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

A seven-page text on reviving a two-state solution to the conflict was also supported by 17 nations at the UN summit, along with the European Union and the Arab League.

Third-round leaderboard for the AIG Women’s Open 2025

-9 Yamashita (Jpn), -8 AL Kim (Kor), -7 A Lee (US)

others were screened.

-6 Hull (Eng), Katsu (Jpn), Khang (US), Takeda (Jpn), -4 Hall (Eng), -3 Rhodes (Eng), Woad (Eng), -2 M Lee (Aus), E Harry (Wal), Ko (NZ), Korda (US)

Before Sunday’s Women’s Open finale at Royal Porthcawl, England’s Charley Hull shot a stunning six-under-par 66 to lie three shots clear of Miyu Yamashita.

By the third round’s halfway point, Yamashita’s three-shot lead had been squandered due to her two-over 74.

After both of their Saturday carded rounds of 67, South Korean A Lim Kim is second on eight under while American Andrea Lee is a shot further back in third.

After two rounds, Yamashita was three shots clear of a group in third place as she celebrated her 24th birthday on Saturday.

Although a large portion of the chasing pack attempted to put pressure on themselves before the Japanese duo teed off, the final group shot low themselves, which would have rendered the effort pointless.

However, they only managed one birdie in the first ten holes, and Yamashita’s lead was shortened by one stroke when she bogeyed the 10th.

The cushion was saved by subsequent birdies at the 11th and 12th, but Yamashita dropped two more shots heading home and it took a fantastic long-range putt to par on the 17th to ensure she would continue to lead the tournament as a solo player into the final round.

I find chasing to be more enjoyable because of it.

Hull hasn’t yet won one of her sport’s biggest prizes, despite having won several close calls at previous majors.

After a solitary bogey at the 14th hole, she made four pars to finish with a round of 66, which is Hull’s joint-lowest round at a Women’s Open.

The 2023 Women’s Open runner-up said, “I hit it in the bunker on the first and did a good up-and-down there.” Besides the final hole, I just made birdies when I had the chance to make one.

Three more English players are in the lead before the final round is even six shots away.

Georgia Hall, the 2018 Women’s Open champion, rose another player’s way up the leaderboard as a result of a quick start.

Hall also carded a four-under 68 at the 14th, and she followed that up with another bogey at the 15th.

She said, “Of course, I’m very happy with my round, but I think I let some things go at the end.”

It could use some improvement, I believe. We’ll see what happens and where I am if I can start tomorrow, as I did today.

Following rounds of 71 and 70, respectively, Lottie Woad and Mimi Rhodes are both three under for the championship and just outside the top 10.
