Peter Andre has received a boost after the backlash from his latest film project as he has landed a new TV show. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker is set to appear in his very first drama role.
He has been hit with criticisms over his latest movie, Jafaican, in which he stars as a faux gangster. Peter took centre stage in Fredi Nwaka’s latest comedy romp – playing hustler Gary Buckle who tries to be mob boss Denton ‘Kill Man’ Powell donning a fake dreadlock wig and putting on a Jamaican accent.
The flick has been marred by accusations of cultural appropriation and being labelled “tone-deaf” by some viewers. At the time, Peter brushed off critics and has already moved onto a new project.

Stephanie Beacham, Camilla Rutherford, and Nick Moran will also appear in Channel 5’s newest program, The Sunshine Murders. Peter will play the lead role in the murder mystery when it airs in September.
As he examines victims of gruesome murders while wearing a white doctor’s coat and clinical rubber gloves, the TV star is expected to take on a significant position on the program. He and his son Junior traveled to Cyprus, where their sons had previously worked together, to support him.

It comes after Peter defended his time working for Jafaican, saying: “I think it’s very easy to criticize something based on a trailer. I would advise you to “go and watch the movie first,” so you can see the story behind it and the context.
He continued to tell the Daily Star: “A critic should also be able to criticise, so I understand how it is.” Peter also acknowledged that the film wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

Peter defended his work, saying, “I believe it is really important for everyone to have their own opinions.
I don’t believe it’s appropriate to just assume everyone will approve of what you’re doing, but I’ve always said, “Don’t do that, you shouldn’t do that, that’s not the right song to release, that’s not a good video clip,” I’ve always said.
He continued, “I would never have accomplished anything if I sat and listened to everyone telling me what to do.” Sometimes, I believe, you just need to push yourself and leave your comfort zone.

Peter’s eldest children Princess and Junior have been by his side at a recent a red carpet screening for the film. While promoting the movie on Australian TV earlier in the month, Peter said of the criticism: “Well, to be fair, I mean, I think it’s good to get all sorts of feedback.
“I mean, this is not my first lead role, but I’ve done a lot of other things.” I’ve played a variety of characters for each of them.

Sydney made the announcement in a May interview with the Sunday Times that she had spoken to. Following much rumors about her long-term relationship with film producer Jonathan in recent months, it was announced.
They had been dating for seven years, and it was believed that they would get married this year. However, Sydney’s ex-boyfriend and her former partner allegedly broke up in January and called off their wedding, which was scheduled for May.
Amid speculation about their relationship earlier this year, a source told Us Weekly that Sydney is “extremely busy” with her career. Her latest projects include the Housemaid; the film adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Freida McFadden.

Helen wrote in a candid update that she had a “look back” at some of her favorite moments with the kids this year. “I’ve found motherhood difficult lately, and I’ve felt overwhelmed and stressed the majority of the time. She then explained how she raised each of her children, explaining that she feels “mum guilt” about raising Matilda because she always seems preoccupied with her brother, feels guilty about giving her the energy she needs, and feels bad that she never sees me at my worst.
She needs calm, which I can never be, too. I feel like we’re working things out and that’s something I shouldn’t be beating myself up about.
“Charlie, I feel like I have the male version of me,” I said. Then Heather revealed her tense relationship with Scott.
She continued, “Coparenting is challenging, and it’s difficult to talk about your worries and anxieties for the kids when you’re not a team.” I wanted these on my grid because they bring me joy, so I guess you can only do your best and be kind to yourself.
As one commentator said, “You’re human, doing your best, and you’re an amazing mama! “, Helen was flooded with support from her followers. Give yourself grace because this is your first time living. Another person commented, “You’re doing an amazing job,” and another added, “You’re a great mummy.”

Following her split from Scott after 13 years together, Helen spiraled into a “very scary” psychotic episode while on her dream New Year’s break in Bali with their children.
Reflecting on that time in her life earlier this year, Helen devastatingly shared how she thought her kids would have been better off without her. She bravely posted: “My love life was a s**t show that year…. I didn’t look after my my mental health or think.
I was so upset and depressed. I now felt like my entire life was screwed up, and I’m blessed with the ideal family. Someone needs to spend 13 years with them. My whole 20s. I also experienced a lot of family feuds, and I also lost essentially all of my money. We were engaged, not married, to Scott.
“My mental health was so poor that I thought my children would benefit from having their dad because he has better judgment than I do. Although words can’t express how much I love my kids, you can’t say that.
