Jock McDonald, a legendary member of the punk band The B*****k Brothers, passed away in a tragic swimming accident at the age of 69.

Jock drowned on July 26, 2025 in Bundoran, Ireland, and drummer Pat Pattyn confirmed the death via social media.

“I have to share this terrible news with you with my heart with my deepest regret,” singer Jock Mcdonald passed away last night in Ireland, apparently in a freak swimming accident.

His children requested this information from me; his family and the B*****k Brothers are shocked; we will make an effort to locate this location, but it won’t be simple. Give us some time before calling us, my friend; please don’t try to call us right now. He wrote, “I will miss you.”

Devastating supporters rushed to social media to share their own sincere condolences to the performer after the announcement left them reeling.

“I’m sad to learn that my best friend, the well-known Jock McDonald, passed away this morning, sadly losing his life. My heart goes out to all of his family. Thanks for the wonderful life we shared through “one mourner penned.” with The B****** Brothers.

We just learned the tragic passing of The B*****k Brothers singer Jock Mcdonald with sadness. Your poster will remain in the Barock, and we will remember you there. We will remember you for being so kind, personable, passionate about Belgium and Germany, football, and for being a part of punk since the beginning. Meanwhile, a sixth grader declared, “RIP Jock Mcdonald, I can’t believe what happened.” a mishap while taking a shower in his beloved Ireland. I’m completely shocked and have no words. You will forever be cherished by us.

At the time of his passing, the musician was working on new material, including a new album and single.

In 1979, he founded the band, which later released nine studio albums, four live albums, and 28 singles.

They’ve also covered tracks by artists like Led Zeppelin, Steppenwolf, David Bowie, Vangelis, and more than that, in addition to their original hits like Horror Movies, The Bunker, The Legend of the Snake, and The Slow Removal of the Left Ear of Vincent van Gogh.

In May 2022, the family was given the tragic news that Diana did not have much time left, and Sarina told the Guardian that despite the heartbreaking update, “We made that such a valuable month.”

Sarina revealed that she had support from throughout the Football Association to help her through such a difficult time after her death, explaining that she felt incredibly close to her late sister, who she knew would have wanted to give the Women’s Euros everything she could.

However, Sarina was suddenly devastated and broke down the night before the final match against Germany due to her severe loss.

When it suddenly dawned on me, “OK, this is not what I want,” we were preparing. Sarina said that’s completely normal because it has had such an emotional impact.

However, she relied on the support system to guide her through the harrowing experience.

“I was aware of my ability to communicate with anyone during that time, especially Kate Hays, our sports psychologist.” When you talk about it, it’s kind of a relief when you sit down with her and talk about it. So we did that the day before the final, and when we actually played the final, I was so relieved that it was over.

Sarina was photographed kissing the bracelet she wore after the Lionesses won the game and entering the field to celebrate with her teammates. The manager wore the bracelet in honor of Diana, keeping her close throughout.
