Gary Lineker and Anthony Joshua are among a host of famous faces who have bagged a ticket for Wimbledon today. British tennis star, Emma Raducanu, takes on world number one, Aryna Sabalenka, on Centre Court in SW19 and the Royal Box at the All England Tennis Club is filling up quickly for day five of the tournament.

Former Match of the Day host, Gary, 64, flashed a smile a mile wide ahead of the match and cut a sharp figure sporting a crisp black suit, pastel-striped tie and designer sunglasses. The former footballer has more time on his hands now after leaving the BBC earlier this year following his 25-year tenure hosting Match of the Day.

Another sports star seen mingling in the grounds was boxing champion, Anthony Joshua. The decorated Olympian posed for cameras alongside his long-time promoter Eddie Hearn, with the pair twinning in near-identical cream blazers.

Former Great British Bake Off contestant Dame Mary Berry joined them, who donned an aquamarine dress with a white floral pattern and nude suede shoes for effortless chic.

As well as actress Sharon Horgan, who wore a striking cream skirt with a scalloped black belt, polka dot blouse, and rose-tinted sunglasses, the day’s invited guests included physicist Professor Brian Cox, astronaut Major Tim Peake, and physicist Professor Brian Cox.

And of course, no Wimbledon line-up would be complete without Mistletoe and Wine legend Sir Cliff Richard, who looked delighted to be back at SW19 while sporting a dapper black suit with a white trim, striped tie, and snazzy designer sunglasses.

The schedule will feature Carlos Alcaraz facing Jan-Lennard Struff and Taylor Fritz facing Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, with Raducanu and Sabalenka leading the way.

Raducanu, 22, will walk out on Centre Court later today with a Wimbledon crowd behind her when she faces world number one Aryna. The Brit faces the championship favourite after producing her best ever performance – according to herself – when she beat Marketa Vondrousova on day three.

The player appears to be relishing the challenge that lies ahead of her, determined to keep up her success. The former Grand Slam champion stated that she “wants to play the best” after refuting claims that she had a bad draw against the Belarusian tennis player.

Sunhats and umbrellas are expected for SW19 highs of 26C, with early-morning spectators in line for ground passes wearing sunhats and umbrellas.

UNIJOS ASUU Declares Strike Over Unpaid Salaries

The University of Jos branch’s Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) members have announced that their services have been terminated because of what they described as a delay in the payment of their salary for June 2025.

Jurbe Molwus, the branch chairperson, stated that the termination would continue until the government had reached an agreement.

The union claimed that its members have abstained from lectures and statutory meetings as a follow-up to the National Executive Council’s resolution, which directed branches to take action when salaries are not paid by the third day of the following month.

The chairperson added that the lecturers would continue to resign from their positions whenever the salary was not paid by the third day of the month.

Additionally, he added, that the branch’s strike monitoring team had been set up to monitor compliance.

If our salaries for the month of June 2025 are not paid by today, July 3rd, 2025, he said in a message sent to members that read, “Dear comrades, this is request all members to abstain from lectures and statutory meetings.”

This is in line with our congress resolution of June 4, 2025, which affirms this position and the existing NEC resolution that “branches should take action when salaries are not paid by the third day of a new month.”

” The action takes effect from 12: 01 am on Friday, July 4, 2025.

Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United are interested in a potential £55 million deal for winger Anthony Elanga.

Sources tell BBC Sport that negotiations are progressing well and both clubs are open to a deal even though no deal has been reached yet regarding the transfer of the 23-year-old Sweden international.

Newcastle have declined to comment on the $55 million request Forest made for Elanga, despite the fact that they have indicated that the fee is $55 million.

Elanga’s signing from Manchester United on a five-year deal in 2023 is thought to have cost Forest £15 million.

In the Premier League campaign from 2024 to 2025, Elanga scored six goals and added 11 assists.

What makes Elanga so popular?

Newcastle’s pursuit of Elanga highlights how much his stock has grown since his brilliant partnership with Forest.

His statistical profile reveals that a player is improving and succeeding in some of the most crucial attacking metrics.

According to Opta’s radar chart, Elanga ranks among Premier League attacking midfielders and wingers in the top percentiles across all categories, according to the radar chart below.

Elanga’s ability to cross the line is near the top of the scale, making it a must-have for any team that relies on width and delivery. In contrast, neither of Newcastle’s current wingers, Harvey Barnes, or Anthony Gordon, averages more than 4.85 crosses per 90 minutes, while Elanga averages 6.65.

His quick movements and willingness to take on defenders, which add dynamism to Forest’s attack, highlight his directness and willingness to take on defenders. Even his goals per shot ratio reflects a winger’s growing lack of sharpness in front of goal.

Coleen Nolan reveals ‘devastating’ impact of Loose Women cuts as staff are left in limbo

Coleen Nolan, a veteran of Loose Women, has spoken out about the “devastating” effects of the ITV changes, claiming that many of the cast members have “becomed her family.”

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan has described the upcoming changes and cuts at ITV as “devastating” with staff members currently living in limbo. The channel recently announced a raft of changes to its daytime schedules, including slashing the daytime panel show down to 30 weeks a year and merging the teams working on Lorraine, Loose Women and This Morning.

After celebrating 25 years on the show this year, Coleen has now expressed her destruction and worries about what will happen to the behind-the-scenes staff. The members of the crew have a family. She said, “I’ve watched them grow.” Some of our competitors from the past are producers and have children. I’ve lived with them all my life. They are unsure of what to do because they are in limbo.

She continued, “Loose Women is changing, not ending, which I’m so grateful for.” The crew size will be very different, but it’s still running. There isn’t another show that celebrates and supports all women of all ages, sizes, and genders, which is what it should be. However, it is heartbreaking to see some of my coworkers unsure of their next steps. Many of them have mortgages and young families.

Sources previously told the Mirror there wouldn’t be any “radical changes” to the Loose Women panel, but there are expected to be a number of redundancies in the behind-the-scenes crew.

Lorraine Kelly’s daily show is also being cut to 30 minutes each day and to 30 weeks of the year, with Good Morning Britain running until 9.30am to fill the time. GMB will also be extended until 10am on the weeks Lorraine is off air entirely.

Over the summer break break, the program will no longer be on television.

Coleen, 60, joined the series in 2000, joining Jane Moore, Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha and Ruth Langsford, and told Mirror’s Notebook magazine she had never experienced anything like the current changes.

You read all about it frequently, she said, noting that 300 people are affected by a chain store closure. Oh my goodness, that’s awful. What do you want for dinner, anyway? because it doesn’t have a direct impact on you.

I’ve never come this far away. It made me realize how devastating this is being carried out across the entire nation right now.

The channel’s daytime slate is “a really important part of what we do,” according to Kevin Lygo, managing director of ITV’s Media and Entertainment Division, adding that the change will allow us to continue to deliver a schedule that gives viewers the news, debate, and discussion they adore from the presenters they and trust.

‘I tried £25 neck serum loved by Lisa Snowdon and it outperformed one 5 times the price’

After watching TV presenter Lisa Snowdon’s promotion of this neck firming serum gain widespread acceptance, I made the decision to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost.

Lisa Snowdon, a This Morning presenter, described using BOOST LAB’s hero product, Edelweiss Neck Firming Serum, for two weeks in a piece on sponsored content that I covered a few months ago.

Sales of this skincare formula quickly increased, which is largely attributable to how affordable it is ($24.99 for a 30-ml bottle, compared to many other neck creams available today).

Since then, I’ve been eager to try it on myself, especially since I only recently finished a bottle of various very pricey neck cream and had not personally seen any results. After using this BOOST LAB neck serum for three weeks, I discovered what…

Edelweiss Neck Firming Serum is a fairly runny serum texture rather than a cream, and it’s really pleasant to use and absorbs quickly. With thousands of five-star customer reviews and some pretty impressive before and after photos, it claims to “lift and smooths crepe-like, sagging skin, supports collagen production, and targets wrinkles &amp, ageing” on the BOOST LAB website.

And what did I discover about the results? A £25 topical product with no pre-approved active ingredients, for example, won’t lift sagging jowls, chisel you out a new jawline, or erase deep necklace lines; at the very least, you need professional aesthetic treatments, and possibly even surgery.

However, I thought this serum helped to improve the quality of my neck’s skin because I had a rough, crepey skin that was becoming quite dry after three weeks of using Edelweiss Neck Firming Serum.

You might also get these results from simply remembering to apply your face cream to your neck, but for me, using a particular neck product was the wake-up call I needed to focus more on this neglected area below my chin, and I did notice a difference.

I’d actually been using a very expensive, dermatologist-approved neck cream before this, which costs around £170, but I still thought the outcomes weren’t as good as they did with the BOOST LAB serum.

The bestseller neck cream at both Boots and M&amp, S. is PRAI Ageless Throat &amp, Décolletage Crème, £31.99, which is also highly rated.

Former Arsenal footballer Partey charged with rape and sexual assault

According to British police, former Arsenal player Thomas Partey has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

According to a statement released by London’s Metropolitan Police on Friday, Partey, 32, is facing charges related to complaints received from three women between 2021 and 2022.

The sexual assault charge relates to a third woman, while the five rape charges relate to two different women.

According to Metropolitan Police Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy, “Our top priority is still to support the women who have stepped forward.”

“We would ask anyone who has information to speak with our team,” he continued.

According to police, a report of rape was first reported in February 2022.

Partey’s management did not respond to media requests for comment right away.

On August 5, the footballer is scheduled to appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London.

Partey, a Ghana international, previously played for Arsenal, an English Premier League football team.

He is a free agent after the season’s end ended under his current contract.

Partey joined Arsenal’s first team in October 2020 after leaving Atletico Madrid for 50 million euros ($59 million).
