They split in 2005, but the new reunion created a stir among their fans, who proclaimed it the “perfect conclusion” to the tour. “THE HUGGING AND HOLDING HANDS AT THE END” was a question posed by one fan. I’M Getting Close to My Knees.

Another added: “The Cowboy Carter era changed my life, just like renaissance did, and I cannot imagine where act 3 will take us. Oh Beyonce the once in a lifetime artist you are.”

The loudest microphone drop ever by Beyoncé closed Cowboy Carter with the ominous comment that another commentator made: “Oh when Destiny’s Child reunites, it’s not nostalgia – it’s divine timing.”

Fourth person wrote, “Y’all will never comprehend how iconic this is given that they are one of the most successful girl groups of all time.” Another said, “The perfect ending to Cowboy Carter would be Kelly and Michelle’s side.”

The tour wasn’t always smooth sailing for Beyoncé, however, as she had her unreleased music stolen during a stop. According to a police report, the music was taken from a car in Atlanta.

Plans and concert set lists were also reportedly taken from the Jeep Wagoneer. Despite the news, Beyoncé, who has won 35 Grammys since 2001, stoically kept impressing her fans.

Police said two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, luxury clothing and accessories, and “sensitive material” belonging to the star were among the items that were taken.

Earlier in the tour, Beyoncé almost fell out of a car, which was propelled into the air at a concert in her home city. While performing in Houston during her flying car stint, the cables appeared to be uneven and left Beyoncé tilting over the edge until she was brought back down.

Niger Gov Condoles With Shiroro Residents Following Boat Mishap

The recent boat accident that occurred on the way to the Zumba community market, which left many lives lost and goods destroyed, has left Shiroro Local Government Area residents with his sincere condolences.

The governor described the boat accident as unfortunate, disheartening, and worrying in a condolence message sent through Bologi Ibrahim, his chief press secretary.

Despite numerous efforts made by relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of both federal and state governments, including the N-HYPPADEC, to stop the negative trend, he expressed concern about the recurring capsizing of boats in the riverine communities of Niger State.

In a Niger boat accident, there were 13 dead and 26 people saved.

However, the governor argued that the governor’s administration will continue to work toward improving water transportation safety.

He argued that riverine communities should make every effort to adhere to the regulations for their safety even though the government is putting in place the government’s policies on safe water transportation through the relevant MDAs.

The governor applauded the Niger State Emergency Management Agency’s (NSEMA) management, local divers, and community volunteers who are conducting the search and rescue operations.

No bank holiday after Lionesses make history in Basel

According to the BBC, Downing Street is unaware of any plans for a bank holiday to commemorate the Lionesses’ victory at Euro 2025.

After a dramatic penalty shootout in Basel, England made history by defending their title against reigning champion Spain.

On Tuesday, a ceremony held outside Buckingham Palace will take place in the city center of London, followed by an open-top bus tour that will culminate in a parade honoring the city’s newcomers.

Calls for a bank holiday following a significant football success are not new, but none were made after the Lionesses won the Euros in 2022 and the England men’s team won the World Cup in 1966.

Prior to Sir Keir’s statement that an England victory should be “marked with a proper day of celebration,” Sir Keir had previously said he would be open to giving people a day off work to celebrate the team’s victory.

Sir Keir remarked that if the Lionesses brought it home, there should be a celebratory bank holiday after the Lionesses won the World Cup final against Spain in 2023.

Downing Street will likely be interested in the economic impact of announcing an additional bank holiday.

Accountancy firm PwC estimated the cost to be closer to £831 million, while government modeling had previously estimated the figure to be at £1.36 billion.

After the two teams faced off at 1-1 after 90 minutes and extra time, England won on penalties with Sir Keir watching from the stands.

Spot kicks from Alex Greenwood, Niamh Charles and Chloe Kelly, as well as two huge saves from goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, were enough to see England emerge from the tense match victorious.
