Thailand-Cambodia border clashes continue before Malaysia ceasefire talks

As fighting between Thailand and Cambodia broke out just hours before scheduled ceasefire talks, clashes continue in various locations along the country’s disputed border.

In a bid to put an end to fighting that has resulted in at least 35 deaths and displaced more than 270, 000 from both sides of the border, leaders of the two conflicting Southeast Asian nations are scheduled to hold ceasefire talks in Malaysia on Monday at 7:00 GMT.

In Kuala Lumpur for a meeting, Thailand’s acting prime minister Phumtham Wechayachai and Cambodia’s prime minister Hun Manet are scheduled to meet for discussions. China is also expected to accompany the United States in the discussions being pushed by Malaysia.

Hun stated in a post on X on Monday that the talks are intended to end Thailand’s conflict right away.

Before departing Bangkok on Monday, Phumtham said to reporters: “We do not believe Cambodia is acting in good faith, based on their actions in addressing the issue. We will assess their sincerity during the meeting by observing their intentions.

Gunfire could be heard in Samrong in Cambodia’s Oddar Meanchey province at dawn, according to Thai army spokesman Colonel Richa Suksuwanon, who told reporters on Monday.

Thailand reported on Sunday that Cambodian rocket fire in Sisaket province resulted in one fatality and one other injury.

Cambodian snipers were camping in one of the disputed temples, according to Thailand’s military, and the country’s military accused Phnom Penh of firing rockets at Thai troops along the border.

On Monday, a spokesperson for Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defense, Maly Socheata, claimed that Thailand had “a lot of troops” and fired “heavy weapons” into Cambodian territory.

Socheata claimed that the Thai military had attacked areas close to Cambodia’s ancient Ta Muen Thom and Ta Kwai temples, which Cambodia claims are its territories but are being disputed by Thailand, before dawn on Monday.

She claimed that Cambodian soldiers were able to “successfully repel the attacks” by the Thai military for firing smoke bombs from aircraft over Cambodian territory and heavy weapons at its soldiers.

The mediators have been “very reluctant” to acknowledge the halting of the talks in the Malaysian capital, according to Al Jazeera’s Tony Cheng, who is reporting from Surin, Thailand.

“The foreign ministry in Malaysia was very agitated. They claimed last week that Anwar Ibrahim had brokered a peace deal, but the Thai Foreign Ministry immediately rejected it, according to Cheng.

Cheng claimed that the leaders could have the “motivation” to end the crisis peacefully given the rising death toll and the number of internally displaced people.

Chloe Kelly’s husband’s normal day job and key role it played in Lioness star romance

Before the Lionesses won the Euros, British actress Chloe Kelly provided a lone glimpse into her marriage and private life with her husband Scott Moore.

England forward Chloe Kelly made headlines during the Women’s Euros 2025 – not just for her on-pitch performance, but for a touching personal moment that offered fans a rare glimpse into her private life.

As she prepared to come off the bench during a tournament match, cameras captured Chloe, 27, revealing custom shin pads featuring a photo from her wedding day. The romantic detail thrust her husband, Scott Moore, into the spotlight despite his typically low profile and desire to keep out of the public eye.

Chloe and her husband Scott first met when she was playing for Everton and he was working as a groundsman. The pair connected after Kelly held a door open for him. “He went on to message her on Instagram,” the couple previously shared.

Although their first date was not particularly glamorous, Chloe’s was her most memorable first date ever. As she reflected on their early years of romance, Kelly previously revealed that “we got a little monkey and every time I see it, it reminds me of when we went to IKEA.”

In December of this year, the couple took a trip to Finnish Lapland, where they got engaged. Moore proposed while taking a private Husky ride beneath the Northern Lights. The answer was “the easiest yes ever,” Kelly wrote in a later Instagram post.

The pair wed at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire in a ceremony in July 2024. Kelly wore a custom gown from Galia Lahav’s Elysee line, which was referred to as a “form-fitting lace design with a dramatic train.”

Chloe’s dress was a labor of love, with its vibrant spirit and timeless beauty, according to designer Sharon Sever. A matching veil and Jimmy Choo heels completed her look.

Kelly acknowledged that she hadn’t yet planned ahead because their first anniversary coincided with the Euros. Before the tournament, she said, “I haven’t even got a card, to be honest. “I’m certain that I’ll think of something and ask my mother to sort it out at the moment.”

She continued, “We are just taking it each game as it comes, and we have a huge game coming up, and we know that we need to be at our best for that, so avoid looking too far ahead.” Scott certainly has, but I’m not sure.

Before Kelly and Moore took a brief break from working for England, they also took a short vacation with their partner, teammate Gabby George, who is Jesse Lingard’s cousin.

Before a packed summer of football in Switzerland, the two couples enjoyed a final moment of relaxation.

Chloe is currently celebrating the Lionesses huge win at the Euros over the weekend. And for Sarina Wiegman, it is a third successive European title, having won with England in 2021 and Netherlands in 2017.

For her players, it is a second straight success, and a revenge mission accomplished against world champs Spain.

After collecting their medals, the players entered the stadium in Basel and celebrated into the night with pizza and beers before heading back to the pitch in Switzerland to begin the celebration.

Lucy Bronze revealed she’d been playing through the tournament with a broken leg – but that wouldn’t be stopping her from enjoying their success.

Head coach Wiegman promised to do more dancing. I’ll have a drink, but I don’t believe I’ll feel as guilty as the players do.

‘I don’t train for golf, I train to keep my body and mind fit’

AIG Women’s Open

Date: 31 July – 3 August 2018 at Royal Porthcawl, Wales

Twenty years ago, Charley Hull first made golfing news.

The then-newcomer battled through a competition that attracted 24, 000 entries from all over the country to claim the 2005 Ladies Golf Union Championship at Turnberry, defeating a 46-year-old man from Manchester in a play-off for the title.

When asked if she would make the women’s Tiger Woods, she showed remarkable maturity a year later.

In a grainy video, the 10-year-old confidently said, “I want to be my own person really.” “Everyone is calling you the new Tiger Woods,” I remarked, “Well, whatever.” I aspire to be who I am.

And Hull has undoubtedly spent the last 20 years being herself, having discovered an ADHD diagnosis in 2023 to explain why she sometimes finds myself bored on the golf course.

She avoids regular golf because she believes it to be “rubbish,” has raised concerns about smoking on the course, and has “no interest” in her past results because she is “off to the next thing.”

A BBC report noted that you would need to get better odds than 20-1 to win a major by the end of 2025 because of how much people were excited about Hull after that triumph on the west coast of Scotland in 2005.

So there we are, indeed. The final major of 2025.

The AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl is billed as Wales’s biggest women’s sporting event, with a large crowd expected at the coastal venue.

My immune system needs to reappear, I say.

The chances are probably higher now than they were when you were 19 years old, though. Hull was forced to withdraw from the Evian Championship earlier this month, which is primarily due to the erratic preparation she faced.

Hull, who collapsed during the first round of the fourth of the five majors, and returned to the field last week to finish joint 21st, claimed she was only operating at about 80% when she returned from the Scottish Open.

She said while at Dundonald Links, “I haven’t been to the gym in two weeks and I’m not going to the gym for another two weeks.” My immune system needs to recuperate. I’m a complete wreck because I can’t work out at the gym.

With almost daily photos of her workouts uploaded online, Hull’s social media followers will be well aware of her obsession with the gym.

She likes it more than the conventional golf instruction, which she has long called “waste” in the end.

She told BBC Sport, “I don’t train for golf; I do it to keep my body and mind in shape.”

“I’m not interested in doing it for golf,” he said. I just try to beat my own fitness goals by doing it for fun.

When Hull was asked to explain what golf instruction entails, he said, “I’m not talking about training, but chipping and putting.” I can do that all day long.

I’ve been doing this tedious movement ever since I was 14 years old. Simply put, I’m not interested in it.

The training schedule also includes quitting smoking and running 5 km in 20 minutes before the year runs out (last check was 23 minutes 30 seconds, down from the previous check at the beginning of February).

“I hope the wind is up,” you say.

It has been a ludicrous ten years since Hull, who finished fifth overall in the Ladies European Tour (LET) with five success, made its debut.

She has won six LPGA Tour and LET victories overall and played for the previous six European Solheim Cup teams, but only three runners-up finishes are still Hull’s best overall at the biggest championships.

England’s top-ranked player said, “Second to me is first loser.”

“But I’m in a great position because, if you’re not asking [about my chances], I’m not doing something right.

In recent years, Hull has experienced a small boom or bust in the majors. She has made eight exceptions in her previous 24 starts, but she finished top-25 overall, including runner-up in this championship at Surrey course Walton Heath in 2023.

The women’s Open Championship is held at inland courses, in contrast to the men’s Open Championship, which is always played on a coastal links course.

Hull also mentioned that she prefers “parkland” tracks, but she also has positive Porthcawl experiences to draw from.

She referred to playing in the first Junior Vagliano Trophy in 2011 as a Solheim Cup-style amateur contest pitting Great Britain and Ireland against Continental Europe and said, “I won here when I was 14 so I have fond memories.

I hope the wind is up because I enjoy challenging links, and I’m hoping it will be difficult.

In her previous 59 major appearances, she has finished three places behind the winner. Six more top-10s have been released.

She said, “I don’t really look at that kind of stuff.”

I’m not interested, I say. Once I’m done with my life, I move on to the next step.

And when asked what she needed to do to improve her game, Hull simply responded, “I need not put too much pressure on my golf and not be too golf-obsessed.”

“I was never that obsessed,” I said when I was younger.

Kerry Katona admits she’s ‘failing’ as a single mum in heartbreaking admission

As a single mother of five, Kerry Katona has admitted she feels like she’s constantly “failing” and has opened up about how she feels she’s “never done enough” for her family.

Kerry Katona has opened up about her struggles as a mum, admitting that she constantly feels as though she’s ‘failing’ to raise her brood. The former singer is a mum to Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, who she shares with first husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, whose father is her ex Mark Croft and youngest daughter, DJ, ten, who she welcomed with late spouse George Kay.

Writing in her weekly New! Magazine column, Kerry sent her support to Fearne Cotton, who recently opened up about feeling ‘overwhelmed’ as a single mum since splitting from her husband Jesse Wood. Comparing her own experience with parenthood, Kerry wrote: “I saw Fearne Cotton open up recently about how she feels “overwhelmed” as a single mum at times.

Truth be told, we mothers all experience that at times. The hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life is being a single mother, and it makes you feel like you’re failing every day.

You never feel like you’ve done enough, especially when you have multiple kids with different needs, Kerry said. But they’re fine if you give your kids food and a roof over their heads. We must become less dependent on ourselves. Fearne has to keep that in mind because she does a fantastic job.

The comments come after Fearne admitted she felt she was “dropping a lot of balls” as a single mum while recently appearing on Women’s Health magazine’s new podcast, Just As Well. “I had nothing the kids liked for breakfast on Monday, nothing. I had cereal, but no milk. I had butter, but no bread. I tried to make pancakes, I had no maple syrup. It is like an absolute s**t show,” Fearne began.

She continued, “I’m just dropping lots of balls constantly and never feel like doing anything particularly well.” but really enjoying it. Most of it, in my opinion, is enjoyable. Fearne continued, “Sometimes, she’s crying in her car.”

Fearne split from her husband of ten years in December, sharing the news in a statement to X which read: “It is with a heavy heart that | let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time”.

Rex and Honey, the couple’s two children, were welcomed during their marriage in 2014, and Jesse’s two older children, Arthur and Lola, were also present.

Channel 4 ‘proud’ to show Bonnie Blue documentary with multiple sex scenes

With the release of the new Bonnie Blue documentary, Channel 4 has a history of producing excellent documentaries.

Channel 4 has defended the decision to make a documentary about online porn star Bonnie Blue – insisting it is “proud” of the film and that is wants to “stimulate debate”.

Viewers tuning in to watch 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story this week will receive an on air warning about the content before the documentary airs at 10pm. It features multiple scenes of graphic sex not normally seen on TV.

Tia Billinger uses the stage name Bonnie Blue and invites men to have sex with her which she films and makes money from online. She is also known for angering and abusing other women online, including by suggesting she likes to sleep with married men.

She claimed to have slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours, sparking outrage on social media in January.

The Channel 4 documentary’s crew and director rarely question her about the abuse she gives to other women and her financial claims of earning millions each month also go unquestioned or unproven on screen.

Even though Tia would earn thousands from the movie, she also uses other younger girls to make one movie, which they claim they aren’t paid. The tone is largely celebratory, aside from Tia’s expressing some reluctance to walk alone in public.

Asked about their decision to broadcast the documentary, Channel 4 told the Mirror: “Tia Billinger, via her stage name Bonnie Blue, has gained worldwide attention and millions of pounds in the last year. 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story is an observational documentary in which director Victoria Silver follows Tia over the course of six months. The film questions Tia’s methods and the divisive style of her social media and hears from colleagues and collaborators in order to understand her polarising business model.

“Part of Channel 4’s remit is to reflect modern Britain and stimulate debate amongst viewers, and a film such as this, exploring changing attitudes to sex, success, porn, and feminism in an ever-evolving online world is an important addition to those conversations.

“Channel 4 has a proven track record of programs that examine the porn industry from a variety of viewpoints. In the last two years, we have broadcast programs like Sex Actually with Alice Levine, which examined a range of sexual experiences, and OnlyFans Got Me Fired: Untold and Confessions of a Cam Girl, which examined the personal costs of porn for content creators.

They argued that it was necessary to include a section of the documentary where Bonnie had sex multiple times throughout.

They continued, “The content and the way it is included have been taken into account. Making pornographic content is Bonnie’s job, and this film is about her work and the response to it, and the explicit content in the documentary is editorially justified and provides essential context. The viewers will be informed of the sexual content in a programme warning right away to ensure they understand the nature of the program. Additionally, the content is presented in a non-gratuitous manner.

The movie was shown to journalists last week at a screening on Channel 4 where Tia even expressed surprise at how many “sex scenes” “weren’t there.”

Commissioning Editor Tim Hancock, who was in charge of the movie, said before the screening that “I think it’s the job of Channel 4 to tell stories like this, trying to uncover the truth behind the headlines.” Real-world events are captured on camera. We take pride in producing movies like this.

Director Victoria Silver questioned why there was so much porn in the documentary and whether she was prepared for complaints. “I had to explain to her (Tia) that if I was making a film about a musician or some other performer their work would be there. I believe that seeing what she does is crucial.

Peter Andre mortified after huge live TV blunder

Peter Andre opens up in his exclusive Ok! talk about the on-air experience he’d rather forget, saying goodbye to a legend, and why choosing a father in later life is a personal choice.

Peter Andre has opened up in his exclusive column with OK! this week about what he calls one of the ‘most embarrassing moments of his life’, as he gives his take on Lady Gaga’s recent tumble during a recent gig in the U.S.

The Abracadabra hitmaker was kicking off the Mayhem Ball at T-Mobile Arena on July 16 in Las Vegas, Navada – and was seen losing her balance and falling over, as she approached the barricade to interact with fans, during a rendition of her song Vanish Into You.

The actress could be seen slipping as she passed a cameraman, who nearly lost his footing, just before she unintentionally sang the lyrics to “Into the night… we fall” on the internet before rising like a pro and walking by the brricade like a pro.

Peter, who is famed for his 90s hit Mysterious Girl and currently working on a new album, said of the incident: “I saw Lady Gaga ’s awkward faceplant at a gig. It’s awful when that happens. But I doubt she’ll be having sleepless nights over it – these things happen during live shows.”

He added, referring to the moment Queen of Pop Madonna took a stumble down some steps during the 2015 Brit Awards while performing Living for Love before confessing he’s felt the heat of similar embarrassment: “Look at the Madonna incident, for example. Admittedly, on a smaller scale, it happened to me once on the T4 stage. Walking down steps, I tripped and fell. It was so embarrassing – and it was on TV. But people forget… until you remind them about it, which I just did.”

Peter opened up about the memorable mistake while performing live on stage during an episode of Sky’s Extraordinary Life Stories in 2023, recalling the agonizing incident at the T4 on the Beach festival in 2009 host, John Reynolds.

The four-year-old’s father-of-four stated, “I appeared on the episode to talk about a lot of things, including my childhood, career highlights, and family life. We also discussed some of my humorous career moments, including my unfortunate exit from T4 On The Beach, among others.

Peter was performing his then-new song Behind Closed Doors when the incident occurred. He lost his balance as he sang to the capacity audience before completely falling off the stage, losing both of his glasses. He continued on and didn’t let the fact that his glasses slid off his face prevent him from singing his song.
