Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 34 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Indiana Pacers 123-107 in game two of the NBA Finals to level the series at 1-1.
The Pacers snatched victory in the final second of the opening game on Friday week, but on Sunday the Thunder dominated from start to finish.
Gilgeous-Alexander’s first basket at Paycom Center in Oklahoma took him to 3,000 points for the season, making him the 12th player in NBA history to reach the milestone.
“They play a full 48 minutes and you can’t just throw the first punch,” said Gilgeous-Alexander. “You’ve got to try to throw all the punches all night.
“That’s what we did. We threw enough punches tonight to get a ‘W’.”
Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA’s Most Valuable Player, added five rebounds and eight assists.
The Thunder’s Jalen Williams scored 19 points, Aaron Wiggins had 18 and Chet Holmgren recovered from a disappointing six points in game one to score 15 points with six rebounds.
The Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton was limited to 17 points, three rebounds and six assists.
“It’s still a race – first to four,” he said. “We are going to our home court tied 1-1.”
Haliburton walked out of the post-game news conference with a slight limp.
Rochelle Humes talks telly, renewing her vows with her JLS star husband Marvin and opens up movingly about why she ‘cries every year’ when it comes to her three kids
This Morning’s Rochelle opens up on the bittersweet aspect of motherhood(Image: Getty Images for the NTA’s)
Between hosting top TV shows such as This Morning and The Hit List , parenting her three children and running a business, you’d think that Rochelle Humes would run the risk of being totally strung out. However, as OK! sitS down for an exclusive interview with the 36-year-old, she appears effortlessly chilled out.
Alongside her flourishing career, Rochelle is known for her relationship with her husband, JLS singer and fellow TV star Marvin Humes, who she married back in 2012. Often sharing sweet posts to one another on social media and even working together, it’s clear that they are still smitten with each other.

So what’s their secret? Chalking it down to mutual respect and time out for themselves amid the chaos, Rochelle explains, “We both love each other and love our family but we also love what we do, and that’s something we’ve both always been at peace with.”
She adds reflectively, “We’ve always met each other in that vein. We also make sure that we shine but don’t shine at the same time, which is important to have. So, he’ll be on tour with JLS at the end of the year and I’ll be very grounded and there to support him.“We make sure that when we each have separate things, we support each other at that time. I think it’s just communication really, there’s not a big secret, I think it’s just that we’ve got respect for each other. That’s the bottom line.”

Three years ago, Rochelle and Marvin, 40, decided to renew their vows, and it’s something she says they’ve decided to make a bit of a tradition. “When we got married, we said we’d do it every 10 years!” she smiles. “I think it’s a fun thing to do, I’m trying to make all of my friends do the same thing. You reach a certain age and it’s like, people have all got married already, so it’s a bit… dead in the wedding area! I want our friends to do it every 10 years too, so we have some love to celebrate!
“It’s sad when they go, ‘I remember there was a time when I was like, “Oh my God, another wedding to go to!” and now I really miss it.’ I’m trying to get my brother to propose to his girlfriend. I don’t want him to lose her,” she admits.

There may not be many weddings to go to, but one thing she’s recently celebrated is daughter Alaia-May’s 12th birthday. Alaia-May is the eldest of Rochelle and Marvin’s brood, which includes Valentina, eight, and four-year-old son Blake.
“I can’t believe [she is 12]. I cry every year because I’m like, ‘I just don’t know where the years are going,’ but I’m also just so proud of the little woman that she’s becoming,” says Rochelle of her eldest. She continues, “It’s a weird thing to think that I’ve got a 12-year-old. I’m also so proud of how we’re raising her. Like, we managed to get one of them to 12, so we’re doing alright! We’re winging it, but what we’re doing is working so far,” she says.
The family often share insights into their holidays on social media, with dreamy breaks in Dubai and the Maldives. But Rochelle likes to give the kids some traditional British memories, too. “At the minute, the kids have just been at my mum’s caravan for a few days. So, I dread to think what treats I’m coming back to – they’ve just been a little bit feral for a while,” she says, with an eye roll.
“It’s like the nostalgia of holidays that I remember when I was younger, which is nice for them to have. I think my mum loves to do it all again, too, there’s definitely something about doing it with your grandchildren and not your children, because you’re not in a rush. You have all of the benefits and you can give them back!”

Not only will Rochelle have three kids on a high from caravan life, but she says, she’ll have piles of washing, too. Luckily, the star has partnered with Dylon Detergent, which she hails as a staple in her house. “I’m honestly such a big fan. I have my favourite scent and the smell is gorgeous. It really has made a difference to my gym wear and to the kids’ school uniforms, too. You know how they just go faded?
“We’ve just got back from the Maldives for Easter, which was brilliant. I tested Dylon to revive a dress that I’d bought a few years before and had lost its way a little bit. It was great.”
And what are their plans with the kids for summer? “You get the first week of the school holidays out of the way and there’s nothing left to do,” she says. “They love coming to work with me anyway. My daughters have realised there’s a gifting cupboard in my office which has body sprays and creams and everything, so they have a one-track mind!”
Rochelle is the official brand ambassador for Dylon Detergent, the laundry detergent that cleans and restores clothes to look and feellike new. Available at major retailers.
Christine McGuinness is said to be ‘heartbroken’ over rumours she exchanged ‘flirty messages’ with Dan Osborne, with the mum-of-three upset her personal life is yet again subject to scrutiny.

After claims last week that Christine McGuinness and Dan Osborne exchanged “flirty” messages as they “supported” one another amid their respective marital woes, a source now says mum-of-three Christine is “heartbroken” that her personal life is yet again being put through the wringer.
The Sun has claimed there was a “spark” between Christine and Dan, who are said to have been friends since 2019, but our source says that rumours of any romantic connection between the pair are simply not true.
“Christine and Dan both feel this has been blown out of proportion. Christine is heartbroken and in pain over the whole thing and can’t believe it’s being painted like this. They’ve been friends for years and have helped each other through tough times respectively, but that’s literally all it is.”

Dan is thought to have recently patched things up with his wife, Jacqueline Jossa, after they publicly confirmed a brief split earlier this year – sharing loved-up snaps from holidays abroad and more recently at a wedding with friends.
The couple, who share two children, have been married since 2017, but their relationship has been quite a rollercoaster – including rumours of infidelity on Dan’s part. And last week, their relationship was yet again thrust into the spotlight as a source claimed to The Sun that Dan, 33, had exchanged “flirty messages” with Christine, 37.

“Their friendship goes as far back as 2019, when Jacqueline was heading down under to the I’m A Celeb jungle and they had a brilliant night out at a fundraising gala in London. They stayed in touch sporadically and would bump into each other at events and their messages got pretty flirty,” The Sun’s source claimed.
They added, “Some were seen by mutual friends. She would call him ‘D’ in texts and it became an open secret among their circles. There is no suggestion anything sexual happened, but it’s fair to say that there was a spark between them.”
Christine split from her husband of 11 years, comedian and TV presenter Paddy McGuinness, back in 2023, with The Sun claiming she met Dan later that year at a London hotel – but that “nothing sexual” happened between them.

While she may be enjoying single life, Christine is still living with ex-husband Paddy in their shared Cheshire home, having previously revealed that the dynamic works best for their children, 11-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and daughter Felicity, eight, who are all autistic, as is the former Pilgrimage star herself.
Opening up on how Paddy, who the model met back in 2007, is and always will be a part of her family, whom she “loves”, Christine said recently, “I need a connection now – something different. I really, really, honestly, I love my family, and Patrick is part of my family and he always, always will be. But now for my next relationship, I want someone for me.”
The pair spend time in separate parts of their house, Christine revealed during an appearance on Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast, to ensure their children have “continuity” while they are able to enjoy their own space. “We have different wings. I always joke about [that] he is in the West Wing. We completely have our own spaces on the top floor of the house. I’m on the floor with the children and yeah, it works for us because we don’t have to move the children.
“They’ve got that continuity and it’s consistent. When they come home from school, they know where they’re going to. They’ve got their own rooms, everything they need is in that house, and it doesn’t matter too much whether it’s Mummy at home or Daddy at home. With our schedules being all over the place, it doesn’t affect them.”
Christine started filming Celebs Go Dating, but later pulled out of the show(Image: Channel 4)
Explaining their decision to not tell the children about the split, Christine said last year, “The children are so young and they don’t understand relationships yet. I think if they did, we would have absolutely said, ‘Mummy and Daddy are really good friends and we’re still family forever and we absolutely love you and that will never change.’ But they don’t know any different and there are times when they see us when we’re in the house together and we’re chatting away and having a laugh and a cup of tea.”
Christine was due to appear in the new series of Celebs Go Dating, which is set to air later this year, but she pulled out of the show after saying it was “too soon” to be dating on a public platform and dealing with the attention that brings.
Now, our source claims that the reports surrounding Christine and Dan are exactly the kind of thing she was hoping to avoid by pulling out of the reality show. “This is totally what Christine didn’t want. It’s the reason she pulled out of Celebs Go Dating. She didn’t want the attention on her life or family and neither did Paddy. They want to protect their kids’ privacy,” our source said.

With Dan and Jacqueline recently taking a trip abroad together to solidify their romance after their split, the source adds that Christine doesn’t want to get in the way of her pal’s marriage. “Christine certainly doesn’t want to look like she’s had anything to do with a married man, or with any problems between Dan and Jacqueline She would never want to wade into someone else’s relationship. It was only ever a friendship. Christine has a good heart and is really upset about all of this.”
Thousands of protesters have clashed with authorities as they took to the streets of Los Angeles for a third night in response to United States President Donald Trump’s extraordinary deployment of the National Guard.
Sunday’s protests in Los Angeles, a sprawling city of 4 million people, were centred in several blocks of the city centre. It was the third and most intense day of demonstrations against Trump’s immigration crackdown in the region, as the arrival of about 300 National Guard troops spurred anger and fear among many residents.
The troops were deployed specifically to protect federal buildings, including the Metropolitan Detention Center where protesters concentrated.
The crowds blocked a major highway and set fire to self-driving cars. The authorities used tear gas, rubber bullets and flashbangs.
Governor Gavin Newsom requested Trump remove the National Guard in a letter, calling their deployment a “serious breach of state sovereignty”.
It was the first time in decades that a state’s National Guard was activated without a request from its governor, a significant escalation against those who have sought to hinder the administration’s mass deportation efforts.
The arrival of the National Guard followed two days of protests, which began on Friday in central Los Angeles before spreading on Saturday to Paramount, a heavily Latino city to the south, and neighbouring Compton.
Federal agents arrested immigrants in LA’s fashion district, in a Home Depot car park and at several other locations on Friday.
The next day, they were staging at a Department of Homeland Security office near another Home Depot in Paramount, which drew out protesters who suspected another raid. Federal authorities later said there was no enforcement activity at that Home Depot.
The weeklong tally of immigrant arrests in the LA area climbed above 100, federal authorities said. Many more were arrested whilst protesting, including a prominent union leader who was accused of impeding law enforcement.
James ‘Arg’ Argent was seen celebrating his former The Only Way Is Essex co-star Megan McKenna’s wedding over the weekend, just hours after his ex put out a heartbreaking statement

James ‘Arg’ Argent danced the night away with his The Only Way Is Essex co-stars, just hours after his ex issued a heartbreaking statement. Nicoline Artursson broke her silence on Friday evening for the first time since her ex admitted to domestic violence.
The former Only Way Is Essex star admitted his crime at a court in Spain where he received a six-month suspended prison sentence and a two-year restraining order. Argent pushed his now ex-girlfriend down a flight of stairs, causing the injuries.
As Nicoline spoke of how the “fractures on my body have finally healed but I’m wounded inside”, just hours later, on the Saturday, Arg was at Megan’s wedding, where she tied the knot with her husband Oliver.

Taking to Instagram, Arg posted a video of him and Megan dancing at the nuptials. He wrote: “Congratulations to the beautiful Bride, My dear friend @meganmckenna who got married to the lovely @oliverjburke yesterday.
“I can’t tell you how much it meant to me, That you wanted me there on your special Wedding day. We danced together just like old times in Nu Bar Loughton when we were kids.

He added: “We always supported each other in those TOWIE days & remained friends ever since. You’ve blossomed into an amazing woman. You’re a fantastic mum & you’re going to make a great wife! And you’re a much better singer than me haha. Love ya.”

In her heartbreaking statement, Nicoline explained more about that night. She wrote: “I was brutally thrown out of our new home in the middle of the night wearing only my pyjamas. I opened the door to let him in and only minutes after I found myself laying down on the stairs outside our house. My clothes and belongings were being thrown out from the balcony down on me. I was injured.”
She also added: “A gentleman does not abuse you and end up in jail and call you the love of his life. A gentleman does not blame you for his actions. A gentleman will confide in his partner, family and close circle of friends, keeping them close and safe. A gentleman chooses you always and leaves the past in the past – including exes.
“Life is to be lived together and not to please people who want to take advantage of you. At the end of the day, fame can only do so much – it’s all about being strong and growing together. Life is simply not a reality TV show, life is real. I have tried to understand why. I have cried so many tears thinking about the way he chose to hurt me. He said he loved me and I believed him and here we are.”

Former Northern Ireland and Leeds United wide man Stuart Dallas is part of BBC Sport NI’s coverage of Tuesday’s friendly with Iceland.
Reaching the Premier League is a dream for any player.
I know how Trai Hume and Daniel Ballard feel after they won promotion with Sunderland, it’s an incredible feeling and achieving it with Leeds was one of the highlights of my career.
It’s a big step up from the Championship, not only on the pitch but with everything that comes with it.
There’s more spotlight and every game you play is a big event that is shown all over the world. It’s literally a different ball game.
That’s always what gave me the belief I could perform well in the Premier League.
I wasn’t playing all the time with my club, but with Northern Ireland I was playing against some of the best players in the world and I always felt I held my own.
Taking on some of the best players from Germany or the Netherlands, it only added to the belief that I belonged at that level, and I’m sure Trai and Daniel will feel the same.
You could say the same for Conor Bradley at Liverpool and Justin Devenny at Crystal Palace too, as they were both playing international football before playing week in, week out for their clubs.
Getty Images
I can relate a lot to Trai’s journey to the Premier League. Like me, he started off in the Irish League and had a lot of senior games under his belt before he moved across to England.
I had played between 150 and 200 games of senior football for Coagh United and Crusaders, and I can’t speak enough about how much that prepares you to step up to professional football in England. I still had a lot of developing to do when I moved to Brentford, but it set me up so well.
You can be in an academy in England from the age of eight, and in a pre-academy even younger. I look at some players who haven’t played a senior game by the age of 20 or 21 because they are stuck in youth football, and when they get their chance they struggle to adapt because it’s hard to bridge that gap.
‘It’s a new era for Northern Ireland’
While the result in Denmark was disappointing, there are still positives to take from the game. Denmark deserved to win, and they are a level above where Northern Ireland currently are.
But it is where Michael O’Neill wants his team to be, and it was another good learning experience for his young squad.
Defensively, particularly in the first half, they were very good against a strong and creative attack but they will want to improve going forward. They needed to be more brave on the ball. They made a great start with the goal but didn’t really threaten after scoring, and I’m sure that will have disappointed Michael.
In that regard, I think Iceland in the perfect game to follow it up on Tuesday. As the home team, the onus is on you to take it to the opposition and play with the energy and desire to win the game. The crowd will play a role in that too, and we know how important Windsor Park can be.
I know Michael likes to play with a back three, but I think he will set the team up a little bit different to get his key players on the ball to try and make something happen.
Press Eye
It’s a new era for Northern Ireland, and that is highlighted by the fact that George Saville was the only player in the 26-strong squad over the age of 30.
Paddy McNair would have been in there too if he wasn’t injured, but it just shows how young this team are.
The Iceland game is the final chance to prepare for World Cup qualifying in September, and it’s hard because these players are effectively learning on the job. The only way to prepare for big games is to keep playing strong teams and learn from any mistakes.
There aren’t any shortcuts in international football, and that is why Michael is keen to take on higher-level friendlies.
The leadership group in the squad is young, but I’m seeing good qualities on the pitch.
Stuart Dallas was speaking to BBC Sport NI’s Andy Gray.
