Finding the perfect moisturiser you skin needs can be a pretty difficult task, but Molly-Mae says this affordable oat moisturiser is one of her all-time favourites.

And with Molly’s forever glowing skin, it’s hard not to trust her on this. Alongside Molly-Mae’s fashion credentials (we’re talking being the founder of Maebe and the former Creative Director of Pretty Little Thing), she also knows a thing or two about beauty and skincare.

The moisturiser we’re talking about here is the Aveeno Face Calm and Restore Oat Moisturiser, priced at a very wallet-friendly £13.50.

Designed for those with sensitive skin, the lightweight formula is packed full of skin-loving ingredients, such as antioxidant-rich feverfew and calming prebiotic oat.

These ingredients help to hydrate dry skin and lock in moisture for up to 24 hours. The result? Visibly radiant, glowing and hydrated skin. Just look at Molly-Mae.

Talking to her fans on her YouTube blog, Molly-Mae describes the Aveeno Oat Moisturiser as one of her “top three favourite moisturisers of all time” and states that she’s been using the hydrating product for “coming up to a year”. And what she loves is that it’s not “crazily priced”. Sometimes we can think spending more will lead to better results, but Aveeno is proving that’s not the case.

A year is pretty long time to commit to a skincare product, especially for someone like Molly, who likely receives hundreds of products on a monthly basis, so it’s clear to see this has the Molly-Mae stamp of approval.

The oat moisturiser is not the only Aveeno product loved by the influencer, Molly is also a huge fan of the Calm+Restore Foaming Cleanser, available for £12.99.

When talking about this cleanser Molly said it makes her “skin feel unbelievably clean” whilst “maintaining the moisture”. She’s been using this one consistently in the warmer months as it doesn’t dry the skin out, and is ideal for sensitive complexions.

Russia launches hours-long drone strike on Kyiv and Odesa

NewsFeed

Russia launched a major drone attack on Ukraine overnight, damaging buildings in Kyiv and hitting a maternity ward in Odesa. Two people were killed and several others injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the attack as “one of the biggest” of the war, saying Moscow’s forces fired more than 315 drones and seven missiles.

Israel launches deportation of Gaza-bound Madleen activists

Israel has deported Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, a day after seizing the Gaza-bound humanitarian aid ship on which she was sailing alongside 11 others.

Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Thunberg flew out of Tel Aviv early on Tuesday, bound for Sweden via France, and released her photos on the flight. Upon arriving in Paris’s Charles de Gaulle airport, Thunberg told reporters she and her fellow activists had been “kidnapped in international waters”.

According to the legal rights group Adalah, which is representing Thunberg and the other activists and a journalist who sailed in the Madleen vessel towards Gaza, she was among four crew members who accepted deportation.

The remaining activists, who are contesting deportation, will remain in Israeli custody before appearing before judicial authorities.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said five of those subject to forced deportation proceedings are French nationals who have received consular support.

Large rallies have taken place in France and other locations to protest against Israel’s interception of the Madleen and detention of the crew.

Israeli naval forces seized the Madleen and detained its crew early on Monday, about 100 nautical miles (185km) off the coast of Gaza, according to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, the group that organised the journey.

The vessel, accompanied by Israel’s navy, arrived in the Israeli port of Ashdod on Monday evening, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was carrying humanitarian aid, including rice and baby formula, to Gaza, in a bid to raise awareness about the dire humanitarian crisis in the enclave.

The United Nations has warned that Gaza’s entire population faces “catastrophic hunger” following nearly two years of war and over two months in which Israel has been blocking or heavily restricting the entry of food and other essential supplies.

Following an 11-week total blockade from March to May, Israel allowed minimal aid deliveries to resume. However, the distribution of those supplies has been marred by repeated shootings, with 130 aid seekers killed since May 27, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office.

The Foreign Ministry portrayed the Madleen voyage as a public relations stunt, mocking the vessel as a “selfie yacht”.

However, Adalah and other rights experts have slammed the seizure of the vessel and its crew as a violation of international law.

“By forcibly intercepting and blocking the Madleen, which was carrying humanitarian aid and a crew of solidarity activists, Israel has once again flouted its legal obligations towards civilians in the occupied Gaza Strip,” said Amnesty International.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 kicks off in the United States when Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami take on Egypt’s Al Ahly at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, on Saturday.

High-profile players and breakout stars from the best leagues in the world will compete in the monthlong club tournament.

Here’s a look at our top 10 players who are set to light up the competition:

⚽ Lionel Messi (Inter Miami)

A record eight-time Ballon d’Or winner and arguably the greatest footballer of all time, Messi is expected to steal the limelight at the Club World Cup.

The 37-year-old forward and captain of Inter Miami will be looking to guide the MLS side to the Club World Cup title in front of their home fans during their debut at the tournament.

Making 25 appearances in his full debut season for Inter Miami, Messi scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists, leading them to the MLS Supporters’ Shield triumph in 2024. In the ongoing MLS season, he has made 20 appearances and scored 15 goals.

The forward, who will turn 38 during the tournament, has put Inter Miami in the spotlight since his arrival at the club in 2023.

⚽ Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid)

France forward Mbappe joined Real Madrid in 2024 and grabbed the headlines during his first season at the Spanish club, finishing as La Liga’s top scorer with 31 goals.

With 43 goals in 56 matches in all competitions in 2024-25, Mbappe also became Real Madrid’s top goal scorer in a debut campaign, surpassing Ivan Zamorano (37 goals in 1992-93) and Cristiano Ronaldo (33 goals in 2009-10).

To top off a promising debut season, in which he won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup, the 26-year-old will look to get his hands on the Club World Cup, which Real have won a record five times.

The Brazilian is another Madrid player expected to create havoc on the field.

The 24-year-old scored 21 goals and had 15 assists in 52 matches in all competitions for the Spanish giants, who finished second in the league.

Vinicius, who signed with Real at the age of 17, is regarded as one of the most exciting talents and was seen as an unlucky runner-up at the 2024 Ballon d’Or.

⚽ Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)

Kane enjoyed the best phase of his career during the 2024-25 season, winning his first major title as Bayern Munich were crowned the Bundesliga champions.

The 31-year-old also made Bundesliga history as the first player to finish as the top scorer in both his first two seasons, netting 26 goals in Bayern’s title-winning campaign.

Kane, who captains England, said his individual achievement marked the “perfect end” to a “brilliant season” with the Bavarians.

The Englishman will be key to Bayern’s chances of lifting their third Club World Cup title, having last won in 2020.

⚽ Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Haaland found the net 31 times in 44 appearances for City in 2024-25 as Pep Guardiola’s side finished third in the Premier League. While they qualified for the Champions League for 2025-26, Haaland was upset at the club’s failure to win a fifth league title in a row, calling it “a horrific season”.

Looking to move on from the disappointment, the Norwegian will be aiming to win the Club World Cup for the first time with City, having missed their 2023 triumph due to injury.

The 24-year-old striker, known for his relentless pursuit of goals, was the third highest goal scorer in the Premier League’s last season with 22.

French forward Dembele played a vital role in PSG’s dominant performance en route to the 2024-25 Ligue 1 title as the Parisian club finished a whopping 19 points clear at the top.

Dembele chipped in with 21 league goals in 29 appearances, finishing as the top scorer for the first time. The 28-year-old was also named the Ligue 1 Player of the Season.

With eight goals in the Champions League, Dembele also enjoyed a stellar season in Europe, finishing the campaign by winning the continent’s premier club competition.

PSG will count on Dembele to score more goals and help them land their fifth trophy of the season, having already completed a domestic treble of the Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France and French Super Cup.

The 18-year-old left-footed winger, known for his dribbling and pace, will be joining the English club Chelsea in the 2025-26 season, having agreed on a deal in June 2024 reportedly worth $75m.

Having emerged as one of the most exciting talents in South America, Estevao will represent Palmeiras for the final time at the Club World Cup after they insisted on a clause in the deal with Chelsea to ensure his participation in the competition before he heads to Stamford Bridge.

The 32-year-old has made more than 100 appearances at the club and has 60 goals to his name. He also won the Argentinian Primera Division with River Plate in 2023.

In 2023, Arias was a key figure in the Fluminense side that won their maiden Copa Libertadores title. The same year, he also won the Bronze Ball when Fluminense reached the FIFA Club World Cup final.

‘Not sure the old ticker can take it’ – Wales thriller reaction

FAW

Wales very nearly completed a comeback of the ages before ultimately falling to a 4-3 loss to Belgium.

Craig Bellamy’s side trailed 3-0 in Brussels before goals from Harry Wilson, Sorba Thomas and Brennan Johnson saw them level proceedings in the World Cup qualifying fixture, only for Kevin De Bruyne to net a late winner to break the visitors’ hearts.

Bellamy said he was “beyond proud” of his players for their efforts against Rudi Garcia’s side.

‘Excitement, drama and character’

“If you’re going to lose a game, it’s not the worst way to lose it,” former Wales striker Helen Ward told BBC Radio Wales Breakfast.

“There was so much excitement, drama and character shown from [Craig Bellamy’s] team.”

Ex-Wales forward Sam Vokes – who netted in a 3-1 victory over Belgium at Euro 2016 – commented: “It was a roller coaster of emotions.

“As Welsh fans that we are, I was very proud watching us coming back.”

Danny Gabbidon – who won 49 Wales caps between 2002 and 2014 – told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport: “Wow. What a game of football. Unbelievable.

“I’ve got to say, if this is the way Wales will play moving forward, I’m not sure I’m going to be able to watch because I’m not sure if the old ticker is going to be able to take it.”

Spirit, players improving and a squad mentality

Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne celebratesGetty Images

Fulham’s Wilson started the comeback with a penalty just before the break in Brussels, his sixth goal in eight appearances under Bellamy.

And ex-Wales frontman Rob Earnshaw believes the 28-year-old is among a clutch of players who have fully stepped up to the plate under the new regime.

“The likes of Harry Wilson, he’s probably the stand out where I’ve seen him grow into a real man, in a sense, into a real top football player,” Earnshaw told BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast.

“Adding goals and assists, he got a goal last night. He’s thriving.

“But then I look around and I see the likes of Sorba Thomas, he got an assist the other night [against Liechtenstein] and a goal [against Belgium].

“David Brooks, he’s had his troubles over the last few years but he loves playing for Wales, you can see the energy.

“There’s a real sense that anybody in the team has got a chance and players are thriving – I love to see it.”

Having relied heavily on the astonishing talent of talisman Gareth Bale in the past, Vokes believes Wales have, over time, managed to build a group littered with experience.

“What we do have in the group, players like [Ethan] Ampadu and Wilson that have played a lot of games and they’ve got that experience,” he added.

“We do have a group that have kind of grown up together.”

At 3-0 down after just 27 minutes following goals from Romelu Lukaku, Youri Tielemans and Jeremy Doku, all hope had appeared lost for Wales.

But Earnshaw believes Bellamy’s Wales can take a huge amount from the defeat in Brussels given their remarkable fightback.

“We know Belgium are good and Wales were given no chance, especially being 3-0 down,” he explained.

“But what I did love was that, I think what this new Wales has really given us is that we could be 3-0 down, but it’s not over.

“It’s a lot to take, but I’ve been in dressing rooms where sometimes you lose a game but you learn so much and you feel more confident.”

Ward added: “The spirit of that team, they’re never out of it and they kept going. Even at 3-3 they didn’t try and settle for that.”

Wales have never come from 3-0 down to win or draw a match, but Roberts could not hide his pride at the way Bellamy’s side fought back to challenge for a share of the spoils at King Baudouin Stadium.

“We were punished for a poor 20 minutes in the first half and we had a mountain to climb after that, but fair play to the players, they climbed it,” he said.

Top spot an achievable target?

Wales sit second – a point behind Group J leaders North Macedonia – at the midway stage of the qualifying campaign.

Belgium have two games in hand over both the top two, and Roberts believes the matches with North Macedonia and Belgium at Cardiff City Stadium later this year will be “crucial”.

And even with four matches still to play for Wales, Gabbidon feels the race for top spot will go down to the wire.

“North Macedonia have started well, I think we’ve seen some flaws in this Belgium team and Wales have had a decent start,” he said.

“I think it’s going to be a really interesting group, I think it’s going to go right to the death to see who qualifies.”

Ward added: “It’s wide open. With home games to come against the top teams it’s good for Wales, we know how good they are at the Cardiff City Stadium. It’s all to play for.”

At the 2022 World Cup finals, Wales picked up just one point from their three group stage matches, suffering damaging losses to Iran and England having opened the tournament with a 1-1 draw against the USA.

And Vokes believes the current members of the squad who featured in Qatar are determined to make amends by putting on a show in next year’s global showpiece.

“We have a group that went to a World Cup last time and felt like we didn’t do ourselves justice,” he explained.

“Having spoken to some of those players since that tournament, they’re desperate to get back there. They’re a group that are together and that are willing to get back there.

Victoria Beckham ‘shaken’ as Nicola Peltz forms alliance with Meghan Markle

Victoria Beckham is reportedly ready to ‘fight back’ as her son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz grow closer to Meghan Markle amid the bitter family feud

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has reportedly been left shaken over Nicola Peltz and Meghan Markle’s budding friendship. The former Spice Girl is said to be ready to “fight back hard” as the bitter family feud rumbles on.

Victoria and David Beckham have been left heartbroken over recent weeks as their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola continue to distance themselves from the family. Rumours of Beckham-Peltz fallout emerged in April when Brooklyn and Nicola snubbed David’s 50th birthday celebrations and things have only got worse since.

Amid the drama, Meghan Markle is reportedly eager to strengthen her bond with billionaire heiress Nicola, as she and Prince Harry aim to form a ‘US Fab Four’ with Nicola and Brooklyn.

David and Victoria Beckham take their seats in St George's Chapel before the wedding ceremony of Britain's Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and US actress Meghan Markle in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, in Windsor, on May 19, 2018.

A source confided to Closer magazine about the burgeoning friendship: “The Sussexes are looking to really build on this friendship, and all of them see huge potential for it to evolve into a ‘US Fab Four’.”

“Creating this new power alliance is a big slap in the face for David, Victoria and the royals – but the four have zero qualms or regrets about that because they all feel like they’ve been so badly wronged.”

Not only have Brooklyn and Nicola buddied up with Meghan and Harry, but the pair have also hired the same lawyer as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It’s now been claimed that Victoria’s patience has finally worn thin with her son and daughter-in-law and she is reportedly ready to fire back.

“Vic is well aware of how well Nicola and Meghan have been getting on recently. It’s more than a little annoying, but mostly she finds the whole situation quite sad. She’s not going to take the bait – but if they want a war, she’s ready to fight back. She won’t tolerate their games, but ultimately, she’s more concerned about rebuilding her relationship with Brooklyn.”

The insider goes on to tell Heat magazine that Victoria is “100% secure in herself” and is unbothered by Nicola and Meghan’s possible “scheming” as she knows she is a powerful player in her own right.” The Mirror has approached Victoria for comment on this story.

Victoria isn’t the only one in her family having a rocky time with the former royals. The relationship between David and Prince Harry is reportedly strained, with the Duke of Sussex having previously asked David to serve as an ambassador for the Invictus Games.

However, it was alleged that Harry didn’t see David at the Sydney event in 2018, and rumours circulated that Harry was keeping his friend at a distance due to Meghan’s concerns about Victoria leaking stories about her.

It was later reported that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola were guests at a dinner party at Meghan and Harry’s Montecito mansion just days after Brooklyn missed his father David’s 50th birthday celebrations in London.

Sources claimed the invitation was “unexpected”, but it was gratefully accepted by the couple who felt “battle-wounded” from the family feud with the Beckhams. Meanwhile, Victoria and David are said to have “shuddered in horror” over this “new friendship”.
