Abbey Clancy and husband Peter Crouch ‘sobbing’ over relationship

Model Abbey Clancy opens up about her ‘fifth’ baby, getting emotional about her marriage to ex-footie star Peter – and why their hilarious and candid podcast is like ‘therapy’

Abbey opens up about one moment that had both her and Peter in tears

There’s nothing Abbey Clancy enjoys more than entertaining the nation with her often hilarious – and intimate – insights into her marriage to retired footballer Peter Crouch. The couple have been married for 14 years this month and together for almost 20, and their refreshing mix of brutal honesty and genuine affection on their The Therapy Crouch podcast has turned them into one of the nation’s most-loved celebrity couples.

Off air, Abbey, 39, tells OK! they’re no different – and she loves their chaotic life with their children Sophia, 14, Liberty, 10, Johnny, seven, and Jack, six. In this exclusive chat with OK! to celebrate her latest fashion collaboration, the 2013 Strictly champ reveals what brought her and Peter, 44, to tears recently, and who she thinks will win the battle over another baby…

Hi Abbey! Your podcast forces you to put yourselves out there… any regrets?

No! I’m so grateful for it – it gives us a chance to sit down and reminisce, talk about our life and the things we’ve been through, and have a laugh at the same time. What is it about you and Peter that keeps people tuning in – and loving you? It’s authentic. None of our friends listen to the podcast because they say they get enough of us anyway, because that’s totally who we are!

I’m actually glad about that though, it means we can talk about them all on the podcast and they’ll never know! When we decided to do it we said it has to be unfiltered and real, and if you look at anything in life, the things that are authentic are the things that last, and work. It’s like therapy for us because it’s a great way to connect and talk about life, experiences and memories.

That’s a lovely bonus!

Yes. We just did something on “16 questions to make you fall in love all over again” and Pete and I were both sobbing, because it was just lovely. Life is stressful enough and so many people are going through awful things, so if we can make them laugh for 45 minutes, that’s great.

Abbey, who has done a festival edit for F&F says both she and Pete ‘love a summer festival’

Does it bother you that so much is written about you from the podcast?

Well, it’s very inconsistent, isn’t it? One minute we’re living separate lives and the next we’re having a fifth baby! I don’t read the stories though, I only learn about them when I get a call from a relative asking, “Are you and Pete splitting up?” or “Are you having another baby?”

You’ve done a festival edit for F&F – we didn’t know you were a festival lover…

Oh, I love a festival! We both do. Our friends John and Caroline [Giddings] organise the Isle of Wight Festival and we have a fantastic time. And of course, I also want to look great, hence the edit. You look amazing in the pieces… Ah, thank you. It was about choosing pieces that anyone could wear, and look and feel great in. I personally hate being cold, so there are some good layering items. I wanted it to be quite ageless, too. When I got a big box delivered, my mum and Sophia were after all the pieces!

As a model, are you aware of messages about body confidence in your house?

Yes, I’m very positive around the kids. They’re told every day that they’re healthy, strong, kind and beautiful. Sophia is literally like a supermodel now – she’s taller than me and her skin is just golden. I’ve got a healthy attitude to getting older. I’m grateful for each day on this planet – I try to eat well and look after myself.

What would you say if Sophia wanted to follow in your modelling footsteps?

Well, I’ve only had a positive experience so if she wanted to do it, that would be fine. But she’s very sporty – she’s really determined with her tennis, so who knows. It’s your kids’ birthday season at the moment.

Is life particularly busy?

Yes! It was Liberty’s birthday the other day, and Jack’s just turned six. Liberty wants to be a popstar, so she got an electric ukelele, an amplifier and a microphone.

What’s best about parenting now?

We’re not walking round with two prams and two nappy bags! I love them when they’re babies but with my sister and brothers and their partners and kids, we’ve got a proper ready-made little gang now.

Maybe you don’t need a “fifth baby”?

I’d have 10 kids if I could, but Pete is like, “absolutely not”. I think he said he’ll leave me if I bring another living thing into the house. All the kids are in school now, so I could easily have a newborn, but my husband says “no way”. Who will get the final word on that? I normally get my way but I don’t think I will on this. I’ve actually just got a lovely new baby who’s 18 hands – Enzo, my horse. He’s five minutes from the house but I’d like him to live in my garden and sleep in my bed, but that’s not possible either!

Have you got a busy summer planned?

Summer for me is just about spending time with the kids because during term-time we’re so busy. So on every holiday, whether it’s half term or in summer, we want to make the kids happy. Do you and Peter get to have much time to yourselves? We make time. So, we’ll get the kids down and watch a movie together, or go out for dinner or on a night away somewhere. But of course, we go away and then complain the whole time that we’re missing them!

Meet the amateur sensation making his pro debut aged 18

Matchroom Boxing

Brighton fighter Adam Maca will make his professional debut on Saturday, just three weeks after turning 18.

By the age of 25, Maca plans to be an undisputed world champion cruising around in a carbon black Bugatti.

The teenager is clearly brimming with confidence and, while most teenagers his age might be getting ready for a big summer holiday after their final exams, Maca is preparing to fight under the lights of the most iconic venue in boxing, Madison Square Garden.

“It hasn’t kicked in yet. Maybe when I’m making my way ringside it’ll feel more real,” Maca tells BBC Sport.

“I’ve had 80 fights as an amateur. A lot of kids my age are just touching 30, 40. I’ve boxed in every competition there is.

“Since I was a little boy I wanted to be a professional boxer. Your heart’s not in it [at amateur level], I just always wanted to turn pro so when I turned 18 I knew I would.”

The Englishman, born to a Albanian father and a British-Yemeni mother, became hooked on the sport when his mum brought him to a boxing gym aged five.

“I was doing loads of sports at the time. But when I started sparring at about nine I just fell in love with it,” he says.

“The first time I got punched I thought ‘I have to get him back’. I used to get angry when I’d get hit. You have to learn to take one and land two in a minute.”

Maca caught the eye of Matchroom because of his remarkable amateur record. He has seven titles in the junior ranks, including five national titles.

He also won a silver medal at the IBA World Junior Championships representing Albania in 2023.

While he was earmarked to be a potential Olympian, he has long had his sights on linking up with Hearn – even cornering him at an event with fellow future Matchroom fighter and heavyweight Leo Atang.

“We didn’t get ringside [tickets] back then,” Maca jokes. “We spoke to Eddie and said we wanted to sign with him one day. He said, ‘come to me when you’re a bit older, boys’. And now here we are.”

Maca faces Rafael Castillo on Saturday. The New Yorker is exactly twice Maca’s age but should be a soft introduction to the paid ranks, with a 2-6 record and only eight bouts under his belt since 2017.

Maca believes he is a “come forward fighter”. He regularly travels a three-hour round trip from Chatham to Brighton to train under Dan Woledge, the coach who guided Moses Itauma at the start of his career.

Despite not yet stepping in the ring as a pro, Maca has already been tipped for stardom. By himself, his promoter, his team and his family.

“My mum and sisters gas me up all the time. It’s confidence as well. When you’re in with top kids and you’re knocking them out, that’s where it all comes from,” Maca says.

It may be a lot of pressure for young shoulders, but after outlaying what he wants to achieve by the time he’s 25, Maca is taking the expectations in his stride.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 35 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder came from behind late on to beat the Indiana Pacers and level the NBA Finals.

The Thunder won 111-104 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis to tie the best-of-seven series at 2-2.

They trailed by seven points entering the fourth quarter but outscored Indiana 31-17 in the last period, closing with a 12-1 run in the last three minutes.

Thunder coach Mark Daigneaul gave Gilgeous-Alexander, this season’s Most Valuable Player, a break late in the third quarter rather than his usual rest early in the fourth.

The Pacers led 101-97 with less than four minutes remaining, but Gilgeous-Alexander scored 15 of the Thunder’s final 16 points and ended the game with 10 free-throws from 10 attempts.

Jalen Williams scored 27 points and made seven rebounds for the Thunder, while Alex Caruso added 20 points off the bench.

Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 20 points and Tyrese Haliburton 18.

“We just didn’t execute at the end of the game,” said Siakam. “We didn’t get easy shots. The easy shots that we got, we missed them. And they made them.”

Love Island’s Arabella Chi introduces new baby amid boyfriend’s ‘new level of respect’

Former Love Island star Arabella Chi is absolutely glowing. Motherhood clearly suits her, as she gives us a glimpse of adorable baby Gigi with partner Billly Henty in an exclusive shoot

She is barely a month into motherhood, and Arabella Chi – model, influencer and one of Love Island’s most unforgettable bombshells – is basking in the baby bubble. And while the days, she admits in an exclusive shoot with OK! , are a blur of nappies, naps and nighttime feeds, she’s glowing.

Sitting down with us, the 34-year-old shares the beautiful journey of welcoming her first child, Gigi Harper Henty, into the world with boyfriend Billy Henty, 38. And her journey has been quite a whirlwind. Arabella, who first appeared on 2019’s Love Island before returning for Love Island All Stars last January, had a rollercoaster in the romance stakes – but it’s all-change now.

She first revealed her relationship with businessman Billy in September 2024, when the pair jetted off for a sunny holiday to Santorini together, documenting the picture-postcard trip via Instagram. Just three months later, the couple revealed they were expecting their first child in a joint Instagram post, in which they wrote, “Due May 2025” in the sand on a Dubai beach, before a clip showed Billy cradling Arabella’s blossoming baby bump.

“I look at her and I think, I grew that,” Arabella says, her voice full of awe. “Her tiny ears, her lashes, the way she moves – it’s just magical.” Arabella has carved a career that blends high fashion, fitness and social influence, but nothing compares to this chapter, she smiles. Gigi, who arrived two days early, has transformed Arabella’s world. “The second she was born,” she says, “life made sense.”

As she recalls holding Gigi tight for the first time, her eyes well up. “I was absolutely petrified when they did skin to skin,” she confesses with a laugh. “I was like, ‘How do I even hold her?’ She felt so fragile, so precious. I was terrified of dropping her! But maternal instinct really does kick in. Everyone tells you that – and now I know it’s true.”

Born after an exhausting but complication- free 16-hour labour, Gigi made her entrance into a room filled with love. Arabella was supported by her mum, five midwives and Billy, who was her rock throughout. “He cried. I cried. Everyone cried! He said to me afterwards, ‘I’ve got a new level of respect for you.’”

It’s a moment she’ll never forget and, thanks to Billy who recorded it on his phone, it’s one they’ll be able to revisit. “It’s just for our family,” Arabella says, quietly. “Something sacred, something special for us to treasure forever.”

Announcing the happy news on Instagram, the new mum said, “Our worlds are complete. Gigi Harper Henty. 20/05/2025. 6.2 lbs.” Celeb pals and fans sent messages of congratulations as Claudia Fogarty, who recently announced her own pregnancy, wrote, “Aww congratulations gorgeous girl, she is just beautiful.Sending lots of love to you both xxx”, while Samira Mighty gushed, “Congratulations sweetheart.”

Finding the perfect name for their bundle of joy took a little compromise for the couple. “My boyfriend loves really traditional names and I’m the complete opposite,” Arabella admits. “I love the unusual, the unique. My own name is pretty out there, after all!”

The two thought they’d never agree and, after countless discussions, someone casually dropped the name Gigi into conversation. “We just looked at each other and said, ‘That’s it.’” For now Gigi is, she says, her dad’s double. “She’s a carbon copy of Billy,” Arabella giggles. “I keep looking for a bit of me in her, but for now she’s all Billy!”

The early days of motherhood have been a whirlwind, but Arabella wouldn’t have it any other way. “People always say, ‘You won’t have time for anything’, and now I get it. You never know how long she’ll nap, so I’m rushing to tidy up, throw in some laundry… but I try to nap once a day, just for recovery.

And recovery involves plenty of self-care. “At first I felt amazing. I was out at lunch with friends, being social, but I definitely did it backwards. Now, I’m slowing down. I’m making time for reflexology and massages at home.”

Arabella is mindful of the reality behind the Instagram photos. After posting a snap of her postpartum body, some less than kind comments rolled in. “People forget I went through 16 hours of labour. They see one image and assume it was glamorous. It wasn’t. I was sweating, exhausted, saying to my mum, ‘I’ve got nothing left to push!’ But this is my lifestyle. I’ve always trained hard and been healthy.”

Arabella was honest about her fears of childbirth. “I was petrified,” she admits, but when Gigi decided to arrive a couple of days early, everything kicked into gear. “I had an epidural, which I planned to do. Hats off to anyone who does it without – I have a new level of respect for them – but, for me, the epidural was a godsend.”

As for a push present? “I’m still waiting!” she says. “I’d love a piece of jewellery I can hand down to Gigi someday – something really sentimental.”

Arabella’s love for Billy – who was on leave for the first few weeks of Gigi’s life – is clear. “We had two full weeks together in that baby bubble,” she beams. “It was really special. Seeing him as a dad, it’s made me fall more in love with our little family.”

That family includes Astro, their beloved pooch, who has become very protective of Gigi, she says. “He’s been amazing. If she cries, he barks at us like, ‘Why are you hurting her?!’ It’s adorable.”

While the past three weeks have been full of heart-bursting joy, Arabella has found a new level of strength. Known for being as strong and straight-talking as she is glamorous, becoming a mum is a different ball game. “When you’re sleep-deprived and still have to give everything to this tiny person – it’s the truest strength I’ve ever known,” says Arabella.”

And although every moment with her daughter is precious, mornings are particularly special. “When she first wakes up, she’s just so cute and calm.” It’s a moment of peace Arabella cherishes – soft cuddles, gentle gurgles and the quiet calm of a new day. “The mornings are magic,” she says.

And yes, she’s already thinking about the years ahead. “I’m really close with my mum, and I want Gigi to have that with me. She’s already got Billy wrapped around her little finger. I can’t imagine what she’ll be like when she’s older!”

Throughout all this, Arabella is managing to find balance, with special events on the horizon such Olivia Hawkins’ upcoming 30th birthday. Olivia, who is good friends with Arabella and appeared on Love Island in 2023, is planning a big celebration and Arabella says she is excited to attend – but knows exactly where her attention will be. “I’ll definitely be missing Gigi!”

Article continues below

For now, Arabella is embracing every moment. “You don’t get this time back,” she says. “Yes, it’s exhausting. Yes, it’s overwhelming, but it’s also the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced.”

So, what’s next for the Chi-Henty clan? “Just enjoying our little family for now,” she smiles. “Taking it all in. Watching Gigi grow. Being present.” And as Arabella gazes down at her daughter, besotted, it’s clear she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kerry Katona’s devastating admission about drug-talking past – ‘I thought mum’s love lay in a bag of coke’

Kerry Katona was first introduced to drugs but her own mother as a teenager but in a moving interview, she says there is ‘life after drugs’ as she celebrates sixteen years clean

Kerry opens up with great honesty about her troubled past(Image: Adam Gerrard / Daily Mirror)

Kerry Katona has admitted that reading about Freddy Brazier allegedly taking drugs with his gran, a lot of memories of her previous drug-talking days – which began when her mum offered her speed at the age of 14 – came flooding back. And the former Atomic Kitten star, speaking exclusively to OK!, says her own experiences and relationship with her mum have been on her mind a lot lately, because of Freddy.

The 44 year-old, who has been drug-free for 16 years, has offered a stark warning to the 20-year-old, who is the younger brother of EastEnders star Bobby: “I know he’s admitted he has a problem with smoking. He’s an adult and can make his own choices, but with drugs, it is a very, very slippery slope. I’ve seen it happen.”

The star has imparted some well-meaning advice to Freddy Brazier following his recent comments about rehab(Image: Instagram/jeffbrazier)

Freddy, the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody revealed last week that he wanted to check into rehab in Spain, after a reported falling out with his dad and big brother. The model, just four when Big Brother star Jade died of cervical cancer, was recently photographed smoking what appeared to be a cannabis joint with his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden – a former drug addict – amid rumours he’d moved in with his nan in Bermondsey, going against his dad’s legal efforts to keep them apart.

But after claiming he wanted to go to rehab, he made a U-turn days later, saying he just needed a “holiday”: “I want to be happy, be in a healthy relationship and have a healthy relationship with my nana and my father.”

But Kerry feels rehab is the right way forward. She said: “I commend Freddy for wanting to go to rehab. You can explore your emotions and work out what’s really going on. It’ll open your eyes and be one of the best things you ever do. You’ll meet inspiring, supportive people. I understand that he just wants to be his own person, but relationships are easily broken and hard to repair – and we never know what tomorrow might bring.

“Freddy’s lovely mum Jade was taken way before her time and I’m sure that hurts. My advice would be to treasure his relationship with his dad, who adores him. Life can be tough, but drugs are never the way to deal with difficult emotions. In a split second, you’re given a choice – and that choice can f**k everything up.

“I sometimes think what would’ve happened if I’d died from an overdose, like my late husband George. The pain and shame for my family doesn’t bear thinking about.”

She added to Freddy “I know you love both your nan and your dad to bits. Focus on that love, and get to rehab. It’s not a magic wand, but you can start learning new ways to cope with what life throws at you. Above all, I’d like him to know that there is life beyond drugs.”

Kerry admits she loves her mum Sue, but they’ve had a fractured and unhealthy relationship(Image: Kerry Katona)

Recalling her own dark experiences with drugs, she recalled: “Mum gave me drugs when I was 14. She was my mum, so I thought it was normal. But that’s a very unhealthy co-dependency. It was the most disgusting thing I’d ever tasted. But I soon got used to the high it gave me”, Later progressing to cocaine, she admitted sadly” “It was the only friend I had, the only thing that was always there for me.”
