Sunderland have signed midfielder Enzo le Fee on a four-year deal from Roma after a successful loan spell with the club.

Le Fee will join the Black Cats from the Serie A side on 1 July for an undisclosed fee and becomes the club’s first signing of the summer.

The 25-year-old was a key part of Regis le Bris ‘ promotion-winning squad, making 18 appearances following his January arrival, scoring once and adding three assists.

“I said before the play-off final that my heart was in Sunderland – I wanted to stay, and this made it the most important game of my life. Together, we did it”, Le Fee told the club website.

“From the moment I arrived, I have enjoyed my football, my team-mates, and our supporters. We shared an incredible experience, and now we get to take the next step.

EFL charges Sheffield Wednesday over payment delays

Rex Features

Sheffield Wednesday have been charged by the English Football League with multiple breaches of its regulations relating to payment obligations.

Owner Dejphon Chansiri has also been charged with “causing the club to be in breach of EFL Regulations despite his commitment to fund their cash requirements”.

The charges relate to the club failing to pay players ‘ wages on time and in full in both March and May this year.

The club and Chansiri have 14 days to respond to the charges.

Wednesday said in a statement on the club website: “The club continue to seek a resolution regarding outstanding salaries due for the month of May at the earliest possible opportunity.

March’s wages were eventually paid in full on 7 April, with the club saying it was a” temporary issue “due to debts owed to Chansiri, whose family control the Thai Union Group, the world’s largest producer of canned tuna.

The Thai businessman has been in charge of the Hillsborough side for 10 years and his tenure has been littered with financial issues.

Wednesday were placed under a registration embargo in both 2023-24 and 24-25 seasons and were deducted six points in 20-21, a season where they were relegated from the second tier, for breaching spending rules.

‘So glossy’ £17 shine-boosting hair mask that rivals professional treatments say shoppers

Shoppers are praising the glossy, shiny results of this new five-minute hair mask, saying it leaves your hair looking like you’ve just stepped out of the hair salon

Shiny hair always looks expensive, we think, but it’s not always easy to achieve, dry, damaged or bleached hair in particular can often struggle to reflect the light in a flattering way without the help of professional treatments. However, shoppers think they’ve hit upon an at-home solution that gives salon-worthy shine for a fraction of the price.

Moroccanoil’s new High Shine Gloss Mask has stacked up dozens of really impressive five-star reviews online, with shoppers calling it “a must-have in between salon visits” and “one of the best hair masks [they] have ever used”. While a large 200ml tube costs £28 from retailers such as Lookfantastic and Sephora, you can also buy a smaller 75ml bottle for £17 – ideal if you want to try it out for less first.

Formulated with something called ‘ ArganID technology’, this five-minute mask “instantly boosting shine while also revitalising hair colour between appointments”, says Moroccan oil. In the brand’s trials, 95% of users said it gave their hair a gloss-like finish, while 96% said hair felt richly conditioned.

And Sephora shoppers clearly agree. “I have to say I really liked this mask. After using it, my hair felt super soft and had such a beautiful shine. It wasn’t greasy or heavy, just smooth and glossy in the best way. I got a bunch of compliments, which never hurts”! one person wrote, adding, “What really surprised me was how long it lasted… Honestly, it’s one of those products I’d definitely keep using when I want my hair to look extra polished without a ton of effort”.

“It is quick and easy to use. My hair felt so soft, smooth and shiny. It made it look healthy and my hair colour is more vibrant”, another review reads. “I felt like I just got off the salon after this treatment. Highly recommend”.

A third person agreed, writing: “The high class shine mask is literally perfect for my hair. I always love the scents of Moroccan oil products and this one is no exception. Even my husband asked if I had just gone to the salon after using this product”.

Not every customer was completely won over though, with one person calling it “a really nice shine treatment” but saying that “I personally have very fine, thin hair and do feel like this weighs my hair down vs similar products I’ve tried.” If this sounds like something you might be concerned about too, you might want to instead try something like OUAI Fine-Medium Hair Treatment Masque, £34, or Philip Kingsley’s cult classic Elasticizer Intensive Treatment, currently reduced to £31.20.

England bowler Atkinson a doubt for first India Test

Bowler Gus Atkinson is a doubt for the first Test against India later this month because of a right hamstring strain – adding to England’s injury concerns among their seamers.

The 27-year-old was injured during the one-off Test against Zimbabwe last month and was subsequently ruled out of the ongoing one-day international series against West Indies.

It had been hoped the paceman would be fit for the series opener against India at Headingley on 20 June but it is understood he is struggling to regain fitness.

Chris Woakes is expected to play for England Lions against India A this week as he continues his comeback from an ankle injury, while Brydon Carse has recovered from a foot injury to play in the three ODIs against West Indies.

Essex bowler Sam Cook, who made his international debut in the win against Zimbabwe, and Durham’s Matthew Potts would be candidates to play in Atkinson’s absence.

Another is Nottinghamshire seamer Josh Tongue. He took two wickets against Zimbabwe and could be added to the Lions squad to play India A this week in an attempt to maintain rhythm.

Atkinson has quickly become a senior member of England’s attack following the retirements of Stuart Broad and James Anderson.

He has played in 12 of England’s 13 Tests since making his debut at the start of last summer and has taken 55 wickets in that time – the most of any bowler in the world.

Test captain Ben Stokes had been considering playing for the Lions in the four-day game which starts on Friday in Northampton as he manages his return to bowling after hamstring surgery but is not expected to feature.

England will likely name their Test squad within the next week.

Rockers Noel and Liam Gallagher have both been pictured at rehearsals for Oasis’s comeback world tour as they played together for the first time in 16 years.

The pair arrived separately, with Liam coming via van while Noel took the tube. Liam was pictured with several packets of Lockets and cough syrup in the back seat, suggesting his voice was in need of a tune-up.

Noel meanwhile was seen at Paddington tube before making the trip across town to the secret recording location on the District Line. It is just a month before their first show at Cardiff ‘s Principality Stadium on July 4.

A source said: “It was extremely exiciting having Noel and Liam in the same room. The excitement for the tour is off the charts”. Speaking to fans online, an excited Liam, 52, said he was feeling “biblical”.

But the rocker warned he would not pose for any selfies outside the rehearsal space, saying: “You won’t see me. I’m not a poser. I’ll be in and out”. He also told another fan: “I’m fine, loving life, how about you”.

Noel, 57, guitarists Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs and Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell have already started rehearsing without Liam. Asked previously if reherasals had begun, Liam told a fan: “YES and apparently they’re sounding EPIC.”

He also told another fan there would be “no themes” on stage, after his last Definitely Maybe solo tour had featured giant sized objects from the album cover. Also joining the band are keyboard player Christian Madden and drummer Joey Waronker.

Oasis split on August 28, 2009, after a backstage fight at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris. The brothers then spent over a decade throwing barbs at each other in the media and online.

Noel said he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.” But the barbs all stopped after they were photographed together while confirming the hugely anticipated reunion last August.

That all changed with the announcement of the tour in August last year. The pair posed for several photos together confirming the band’s long-awaited reunion on Tuesday, saying: “The great wait is over”.

After Cardiff, the band play Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before heading off on a world tour with dates in the US, Australia, Brazil and Japan.
