Victoria Beckham couldn’t keep her hands off husband David as they kicked off his 50th birthday weekend celebrations.

Posting a video of them dancing to the Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers hit song Islands in the Stream on Instagram, the pair looked more loved up than ever as they geared up to mark David’s milestone birthday.

Before Victoria kissed him repeatedly as he sang along to the hit song, David wrapped his arms around his wife’s shoulders. The fashion designer, who turned 50 last year, wrote, “Happy birthday eve @ David Beckham… my everything. My lifelong dance partner, best friend, and soul mate. We can ride it together, like the song says “We start and end as one, In love forever, We can ride it together,” ah ha. I love you xxxxxxxx.

One fan wrote, “This is the love we all want,” and the others were quick to respond. Another joke read, “Imagine grabbing his arm, omg.” A third chimed in, “I’ll have what she’s having”! “Dream couple” is a fourth post! While a fifth added, “Sweetest couple ever,”

Showing it’s one of their favourite tunes, the couple were filmed prancing around line dancing style to the Dolly hit in their Cotswolds home. The video later amassed over 100 million views on TikTok and led to couples around the world copying it to see if their partner would spontaneously join in, as David did.

In another clip looking back at his life that starts with the words ‘There’s only one David Beckham’, Victoria, 51, gushed: “When I look at this video, I think, ‘Wow… how lucky am I!!’ You’re everything I could have dreamed of and more. Happy 50th @davidbeckham!!! I love you and our beautiful family endlessly. You complete me xxx.”

After tied the knot in a memorable wedding in Dublin in July 1999, David and Victoria recited their vows in front of 300 guests at a castle in Dublin before sat on thrones and donned matching purple outfits, later this year.

The pair met two years earlier in 1997 at a Manchester United charity match when Victoria was just 22 and David 21. Victoria has recalled how it was ‘love at first sight’. They got engaged a year later and welcomed eldest son Brooklyn just a few months before they said ‘I do.’

Brooklyn, Romeo, Romeo, Romeo, Cruz, 20, and Harper, age 13, are now proud parents to them. Despite having a stellar football career, David recently admitted that being a father is more important than anything else. The most fulfilling experience of my life has been raising my two beautiful children.

Pakistan test-fires ballistic missile as tensions with India rise

As tensions with neighboring India continue to rise over a deadly shooting attack in Indian-administered Kashmir last month, Pakistan’s military claims to have successfully tested fired a ballistic missile.

According to Pakistan’s government, an exercise on Saturday included the testing of the surface-to-surface missile known as the Abdali Weapon System, which has a range of 450 kilometers (280 miles).

The launch, according to the statement, “aims to verifying key technical parameters, such as the missile’s advanced navigation system and enhanced maneuverability features, and ensuring the operational readiness of troops.”

The tactical missile, which can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads, was named in honor of the 18th-century founder of contemporary Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali, who orchestrated numerous invasions of the Indian subcontinent.

The scientists, engineers, and those responsible for the successful missile test received congratulations from Pakistan’s president Asif Ali Zardari and prime minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Three days after Pakistan’s information minister Attaullah Tarar claimed that Islamabad had “credible intelligence” that India intended to launch a military attack in Indian-administered Kashmir in response to the killing of 25 male tourists and a Kashmiri last month.

India and Pakistan both have control over some of the Kashmir region, while asserting full control over the rest. Since their independence from British rule in 1947, they have experienced frequent spikes in tension over the issue.

Islamabad is accused of supporting the April 22 attack by suspected Kashmiri rebels in the picturesque Pahalgam region and alleges that Pakistani citizens were involved in the killings. Pakistan has denied having participed in the attack.

According to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he has promised to pursue those who had supported the attack “to the ends of the Earth” by giving his military “full operational freedom” to react.

The Indian leaders want to use the Pahalgam attack as a “false pretext,” according to Pakistani minister Tarar, adding that Pakistan might be struck by Pakistan.

According to a military statement, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Syed Asim Munir, presided over a meeting of his top commanders on Friday regarding the “current Pakistan-India standoff.”

Munir “understood the crucial value of proactive readiness and increased vigilance across all fronts.”

India and Pakistan have exchanged diplomatic rebukes and expulsions and closed border crossings since the attack, which has been the deadliest in Kashmir civilians in years. India also halted its participation in the Pakistan-India Indus Waters Treaty of 1960.

Pakistan has threatened to suspend its participation in the 1972 Simla Agreement, which supports the LoC, while the two nuclear-armed countries have also engaged in gunfire along the militarized Line of Control (LoC), which divides Kashmir in the process.

Celebrity Big Brother star blocked by finalist as she brutally slams winner Jack P Shepherd

Nicola McLean, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2012 and 2017, criticizes Jack P Shepherd, who also appeared in the show, and claims she was blocked by a finalist.

Former Celebrity Big Brother favourite Nicola McLean has hit out at Celebrity Big Brother winner Jack P Shepherd in a brutally honest rant while also revealing she’s been blocked on Instagram by one of this year’s finalists despite being a vocal supporter.

Nicola, who appeared on the hit reality show in the 2012 and 2017 seasons, was open about her disappointment with the results this year. Before the unanticipated snub, the glamour model and TV personality admitted she was rooting for a different finalist. She is known for her unfiltered commentary and iconic rows in the CBB house.

She exclusively stated, “I absolutely loved him! ” when it was revealed that Danny Beard had blocked her. He was always my winner, I’ve always been that way.

“I love a gay, we know this. I’m so part of the LGBTQ+ community, I absolutely support it. But here’s the kicker, he blocked me on Instagram. I was shocked. I hadn’t posted anything bad, only support.”

She continued, “I think his management did it, or perhaps he has a filter for certain words, but I hadn’t even tagged him yet”!

“I was so tempted to email and ask why supporting someone would block me, but I then realized what the point was. Still, it was disappointing.

Nicola then turned her sights on Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd, who was crowned winner of the ITV reboot weeks ago. “Jack didn’t deserve to win. I don’t know how he won,” she said.

“Can you tell me how I went in twice, entertained the nation, drank a lot of prosecco, and he drank tea, sat quietly, and triumphed?” It’s gutting, to be honest.

The outspoken contestant then demanded that contestants’ methods of compensation be reconsidered. She said, “I believe they should change the way they do fees because it should reward the most entertaining.”

“People always make up fees,” they say. Someone once said, “Where the hell did you get that from? I got $7,500 for I’m a Celebrity,” and I called the journalist. No one does it “for that little” purpose.

“But to get back to the point: it’s wrong to go there, sit there, and take the money,” she said. You were made to entertain you, I assure you.

Nicola, who famously clashed with Kim Woodburn and had memorable moments with Jedward in her time on Celebrity Big Brother, remains one of the most talked-about housemates in the show’s history – and clearly hasn’t lost her fiery edge.

Coach Trip’s Brendan Sheerin reveals holiday-goer died on ‘worst work day’ ever

After a holidaymaker’s death on his “worst day at work,” Coach Trip star Brendan Sheerin is well aware that sometimes more than just a postcard is delivered home from a trip abroad.

Coach Trip’s Brendan Sheerin’s sunny personality has made him the nation’s favourite tour guide – but there were no smiles the day someone died when he was on duty.

The 66-year-old found amassed a cult following when he was appointed the resident holiday rep on Channel 4 reality show Coach Trip, with even the late Queen reportedly a fan of the show. But he wasn’t plucked from complete obscurity; he was suggested for the job by a former boss.

When TV producer Andrew Brereton began calling around hotels in Scarborough, near his hometown of Leeds, in 2005, to ask for potential stars for a new show he had sold to Channel 4 while he was employed at a seafront spa there. The interview that would alter Brendan’s life was suggested by his manager, who flew to London with him.

Speaking to Metro to mark the show’s 20th anniversary, he revealed that there was one sticky question which came up, but it got him the job.

They looked about seventeen when these producers were young. When a client died, I said, and they inquired about my worst day at work. You know, it happens during vacations, but people do die.

The team could see Brendan’s star quality clearly through the grim anecdote. They called me the next day and said, “We found the person we want,” and I responded, “Oh, I’m so happy for you,” and they replied, “No, Brendan, it’s you, it’s got to be you.” My stomach hurt. My life was about to change, I knew.

From 2005 until the Coronavirus pandemic stopped filming, with Brendan appearing in every episode, Coach Trip aired 640 episodes. Since then, no new episodes have been reportedly filmed, with Channel 4 confirming that none were in development.

The show saw Brendan visit every European country (bar Russia) and, for special series, parts of North Africa and East Asia. He would be joined by seven couples – who might be pensioners, party animals, students, or other stereotypical British holidaymakers – or, for some specials, celebrities. The show veered between twee and cut throat, with couples voting one another off as the bus made stops at different historical landmarks and beautiful cities.

A couple was forced to remove their luggage from the hold after being issued a yellow and then red card, leaving them “stranded” by the side of the road. As the bus traveled, a new couple would take their place.

While the contestants were a significant component of the program, viewers were incredibly interested in seeing Brendan corral, tut, and shush them as they crossed the border to perform their country’s national anthems.

Although there were some challenging personalities, Brendan always maintained her neutrality. He continued, “Typically the group didn’t like people that I didn’t like, but they did, too.”

When people were on the coach for a while, they would become a little too at ease and say, “Oh, are we taking a painting class?” Boring! ‘ There would eventually become a little less appreciative, but if you start sat on your laurels, someone will always be waiting for you.

Meta Warns of Instagram, Facebook Shutdown in Nigeria Over FCCPC Fine

The parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, Meta Platforms Inc., has issued a warning that it might have to stop Facebook and Instagram operations in Nigeria despite rising regulatory pressures and labeling government requests as “unrealistic.”

A court document obtained by the BBC revealed this warning. The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) of Nigeria is currently contesting a $ 220 million fine for allegedly violating data privacy.

The FCCPC and the NDPC conducted a 38-month collaborative investigation into Meta’s and WhatsApp’s data handling practices.

Meta has vowed to file an appeal in spite of the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal’s decision to uphold the fine up until the end of June.

According to Meta, it may need to “effectively shut down the Facebook and Instagram services in Nigeria” in order to “mitigate the risk of enforcement measures.”

Notably, the court document does not make any mention of WhatsApp.

The NDPC, which the company claims misinterprets, is one of Meta’s main concerns.

The NDPC fined Meta $32.8 million for alleged privacy breaches, while the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) imposed a separate $37.5 million fine for what it called unapproved advertising content.

One of the regulatory requirements, which the company describes as “unrealistic,” is that Meta must first obtain prior approval before sending Nigerian users’ data abroad.

Additionally, the NDPC has mandated that Meta create and display educational content on data privacy risks via a dedicated icon on its platforms.

These videos must address manipulative and unfair data processing practices because they must be co-produced with approved organizations and non-profits.

Meta has criticized these directives, calling them “unworkable” and alleging that Nigerian authorities have broken the law in question.
